Lovely located hidden down a side street, so very private and quiet. Short walk to many restaurants and bars as well as popular tourist attractions such as Chain Bridge and The Parliament building. The hotel Staff were amazing and always wanting to help. I love the little touches, such as the staff coming to your room each night to drop off a weather card for the following day, alongside a little chocolate. Only downside I would say would be the gym facilities and spa area. This was purely because the only spa faciilies consist of a sauna and hot tub, and since the hot tub wasn't working there was only one other option. However the room is very relaxing and our trip was more about site seeing and exploring, as appose to relaxing and exercising. The gym facilies were very small and basic, however since that wasnt the focus of our trip it wasn't the end of the world, but it would have been nice to use if there was more equipment. (Oh and the hotel bar has the most amazing cocktails!)

The stay was pleasant despite the fact that the staff at the rooftop bar was relatively unfriendly and had no service-mind. The room was small but very practical and the bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful breakfast, lots of choices from tasty warm and cold selections, the staffs at the breakfast room were very thoughtful, attentive and friendly. There is a wellness club and swimming pool at the Basement of the hotel, but with our booking, we were't entitled to use them, or unless we pay around EUR 15,- per person per day, which we found it, ridiculous for the guest to pay such amount to enter to the swimming pool at the hotel. The receptionists were helpful, though some speak little English, they tried much and put lots of efforts for us, so that we had an enjoyable stay in Budapest, thanks to the young receptionist girl, who were very friendly and attentive. About the location, we love it, the hotel located at the prime-business location of Budapest, very safe area to walk at night and all day long, only less than 2 minutes to US Embassy and a few minutes walk to the Metro Station and less than 10 minutes to Parliament House. Overall we are fairly happy with our stay at The President Hotel. Personally, we rate this hotel 3.5 stars.

This brand new 5-star hotel say they are aiming even higher than 5 stars..They success! The interior gives a unique atmosphere that is connected to the famous restaurant and bar. The breakfast, roomservice and not at least the dinner in the restaurant is simply delicious. Servispeople are on spot to help out at all times. We did not try out the spa(The prices for the treatments are quite high compeared to what you can get elsewhere in Budapest). We were lucky and got to spend 3 nights at this fantastic hotel included breakfast for only about 440 Euro in total for 2 persons! A lot for the money! (Compared for what we get home in Norway..). 23. October is the National Day of Hungary, and people gathered right outside the hotel for speaches and television, marking the day. The hotel lefs a letter in our room the day before, informing about this. The crowds were calm, and we experience the Hungarian people as very friendly and calm. A moment to remember was when they played the National Anthem, and we where inside the hotel that afternoon, hearing the people sing. Beautiful! The only negative is that the have a constructionary proble that the water from the shower is floating out on the bathroomfloor. This is under work.

mercure city center hotel is ideally located in very center of budapest, in famous vatci utca (main pedestrian street) where lot of h palaces, places of interest, restaurants and shops can be found. well known bridges connecting banks of danube river are in close proximity as well. it’s walking distance to all attractions and museums. hotel is very well managed, great service, rooms are very spacious, clean with refrigerator, safe, good aircon system, modern bathroom, but bed could be more comfortable (too soft mattress is not what i prefer). hotel provides free wireless and can arrange taxi to pick you up/take you to the airport - one way 23 euros). next to hotel is excellent italian restaurant which i would warmly recommend (avoid those restaurants with "traditional cuisine" on huge square situated right from hotel and next to new shopping mall, its lousy food there, not worth the money!) budapest is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but 2 -3 days will be quite enough to see the most important city can offer. i would definitely stay again in hotel mercure city center if i go again to capital of hungary ! please note, if you want to stay in very center, make sure you booked “mercure city center hotel” since there are several “mercure” hotels in the town.

Great view from budapest Sofitel. So easy to walk anywhere , to the pier, to the bridge and castle on the other side of the river, to the local shops and restaurant and to parliament .staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good , given that is 24 euro one ! But room service food is not so good. Too salty. We told them and they didn't not charge it due to the disatisfactory .

there was not one single bad aspect of this hotel. design of the building is beautifull. rooms are large spacious and clean. breakfast was so nice, good quality and great range (free champagne is nice). on top of that free snacks and drinks in reception is a great touch. very nice/helpfull staff. maybe the best thing is the location, very close to alll the best areas and sites! loved it!

This was our first trip to Budapest and oh boy did we love it. Firstly when you book your room ask for a river view as its so beautiful to watch the boats pass back, the museum from across your room is breathtaking. Now if you ask for the Executive room you will have a splendid view of the river and life below on the street from the Club Lounge. This hotel is walking distance to the Parliament House, Chain Bridge and the former Royal Palace plus some of the local shops and restaurants. How often can you find someone who really enjoyed their job and we found Marietta from the Spa having just that. Its like oozing out of her and one cannot but help to have some spa treatment from her (of course we bought loads of products too). The staff at the Executive Lounge became like family as we saw them most of the time. Like at Hilton Millenium Seoul we actually saw the General Manager at the kitchen and talking with the doorman. Intercontinental Budapest has made our stay at Budapest one of the most memorable one and I encourage anyone going to Budapest to stay at this hotel (its so close to the riverfront). Well done Intercontinentl Budadepst and Marietta (you have got a fan here!!!)

When I was about to check in I was told there was an error in my reservation - the days was offset by one day and they had expected my arrival the day before! However, without any argument the receptionist kindly offered to correct the booking free of charge, even though the fault was not at the hotel. I was amazed they didn't use the situation to cash in a few extra $$ but I guess it shows their dedication in making the stay as pleasant and free of troubles for the traveler as possible. A big star in their book for that! As for the rest of the stay, it was worth every cent. The location is about perfect for Budapest, close to the river, the main shopping street, and right next to the metro and trams. The rooms was very well cleaned and even though small (they warn about this on their page) the space is well used so they don't feel that small. And the breakfast was very well for being free of charge. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! (Business travelers beware, there is a computer at the lobby and a free wi-fi hotspot, but the wi-fi does not work from the rooms.)

We stayed in one of this hotel's studios (we've no idea how the standard rooms are) which are very large in size, has all you need - kitchenette with electric kettle, plates, cuttlery, etc. There is also a laundry machine (don't know if it works, we didn't use it). It was very clean, in good condition, and a nice wine bottle, on the house, expected us when we arrived. Wifi was available for free, the connection was very good. The location is great: about 3 minutes walk to Astoria (which offers good metro and tram stations) and from the great synagogue, 5 minutes walking to Vaci Utca, less than 10 minutes walk to the great market. We also felt very safe coming back to the studio late at night. Just notice that the studios are not located in the main building, which is exactly opposite the National museum (but they are about 5 minutes by foot, and the hotel offers to take you there in a taxi, free of charge, at least when you check in). The studios are located in 20 Puskin Utca, in a nice apartment block. The reception is open 24 hours (we arrived around 01:00, and had no problems), and the staff was very kind and assisted us with some weird requests (translating few things to Hungarian...). At whole - we had very good experience and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone we know who intend to visit Budapest.

budapest panorama central is on the 3rd floor of a historic looking building located close to the main transport center. the hotel is situated only a few minutes of walking from the astoria metro station on the metro red line. the budapest panorama central has only 12 rooms and we had confirmation for two nights during 26-28 april but we were informed by agoda that we had to move to an alternative apartment because it was fully booked. we had to re-book the budapest panorama central on 1 may and we were pleased with the hotel. this is a great value for the price we paid although the entrance is a bit old and not very nice but once you arrive the hotel which has been completely renovated in good design. the room and bed are clean, well serviced and our bathroom has a nice jacuzzi. the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Greetings from Pakistan!! I was traveling with my wife and a three and a half year old son. I initially booked the hotel for two nights and later on extended it for another two days. The extension of my stay was done without any hassle. The hotel is beautiful and the room had everything that we needed. The staff was super super friendly and they were so kind to us and especially to my kid offering candies and spoiling him all the time. The breakfast was enough for us, that we didn't need to have lunch. The lift was slightly old, but it works perfectly alright. The washroom was modern, and the rooms were very clean. The best part of this hotel was its location. It is very very central, and you can see many places within your walking distance. Also, you can find a super market very close to the hotel, and a delicious "Istanbul Doner Kebab" is also available within your walking distance. I would not mind staying there once again, if I travel Budapest once again.

Booked a twin room under children under 12 stay free for 2 adults and 2 children. Pleasant surprise: big room and 2 extra beds at no charge. Clean room and bathroom, very nice breakfast. Note: while there, buffet breakfast was served in two adjacent spaces. Same choice, however one of them had the so called called "hungarian corner" with some extra yummy stuff. Location is great: we had a great view onto Kalvin ter, the church and the museums garden, all at once - had a corner room. Easy walk through to the Vasarcsarnok (old central markets), Gellert baths and all the way up to Lanchid. Great public transport connection: 2 metro lines, trams 47 and 49 at the door, ram 2 at 5 minutes walk.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Three Corners Art. We booked a superior room on the sixth floor and according to the receptionist it was the best room in the house! Breakfast was included in the package- plenty of choice - hot and cold selection. Room was very spacious with a modern shower room (free toiletries). Also included in the room were tea/coffee making facilities, robes and slippers. Budapest is a great city to visit- you must visit the market hall and one of the ruin bars.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, our room and bathroom was clean, and the location was superb. A short walk from the Metro Station where you can buy the 24 hr pass and the bus stop of Bus#16 which will take you up to the Castle District. It is also close to the Tram #2 stop which can take you from the Central Market all the way up to Parliament. St. Stephen's is close by with lots of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. We were on the 4th floor. It has a fantastic view of the street. Our twin-sharing room with extra bed was spacious. The location is very central to everything, including airport transfer of 100E which stops right there. The famous Hungarian Nika restaurant is just a couple of doors away & the hotel gives out discount coupons. Only set back is there is no kettle in the room. And when you open the balcony door, the street noise is very loud.

It is a very small but very romantic and cozy hotel. Staff were so helpful and nice!!!Restaurant serve superior food and all waiter are professional and friendly.Professional as in introducing wine for the dishes you order.Restaurant menu is very unique compare to other restaurant in Budapest.I small thing to criticize will be the toilet,the bathtub looks nice and authentic but it is kind of hard to shower in the bathtub without getting the whole toilet floor wet.Further more my room toilet window can see outside window and it is without blind,I'm pretty sure someone in the opposite building can peep you showering in the toilet.

It's generally considered the best or one of the best hotels in Pest. Near the river, right in the middle of the picture-postcard part of town, walking streets, and the best shopping an dining. Ironically, the building itself is a modern eyesore in my opinion. Rooms on the square are best, and there are many standard rooms with that view. The pool is too small and the spa not very good. But the rooms are very nice, with very comfortable beds and the service is the best possible. Buffet breakfast is pretty spectacular.

I book the hotel for my two bosses who had a business trip on budapest The first booked is for 2 nights and two rooms But they had to extend the meeting so i booked another 1 night and two rooms I already send a message to hotel with explanation 'this is extended guess from booking code xxxxxx' I double check with agoda team and agoda team its enough to make them (hotel) know But when my boss check out,the hotel ask them to pay for the last night because hotel said you only paid for two night and they debit my boss credit card.they insist we dont pay enough nights I call agoda cs and they call the hotel directly after tht the hotel credited the payment that they debit through my boss credit card (because we paid it full before they arrived) Thank you so much agoda cs team.and for budapest team,you should learn more about all the information detail of your guess..it makes you look unprofessional as a 5 star hotel.

We were only here for one night so did not use the internet (not free) or food service. The staff was helpful but we had a hard time getting there in our car as Budapest has a lot of one way streets, pedestrian streets and construction in the area. No one could really help us figure out a way to get our car to the building. Parking was safe and convenient but take the travel book's advice and leave your car at home. These apartments are close to a great shopping area with some of Budapest's historic cafes very close by. Very convenient to sights.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever visited. I'd chosen it for its high rates in online travel services and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms were cosy, nicely decorated with a modern feeling, and quite roomy. Room service was also very good. One of the greatest aspects of this hotel, other than its services and friendly stuff, is its location; it sits two blocks from the Danube river, and just one block from the start of the venerable Vaci street. It's also very well connected, with bus and metro stations right across the street, and a tram station one block away. My only strife was with the hotel's WiFi; the signal in my room was too low and the network kept disconnecting. The hotel stuff provided me with a UTP cable, but it turned out that either the cable was bad or the RJ45 plug was dead. On the other hand, the signal was quite good in the hotel lobby and restaurant/cafeteria. Another minor shortcoming was that the room windows had no shutters but just light curtains and rooms from the two wings of the hotel were facing each other.

The hotel is in a great location, near to Vaci Street. The metro is very close but you can easily walk to the main attractions in the city, such as the Buda castle or the Parliament building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was awful. The upside is that you can order coffee and tea to your room (and that coffee is better). The gym is small and not well maintained. The room was great, the bed was comfortable and you could even choose the type of pillows you like. T However, thhe view is not so great and we had a giant wall (of another hotel) right in front of our window. Overall it is a very good hotel, and I would definitely recommend it.

First, the staff at the hotel are incredible. Quick to arrange anything you want. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the location is absolutely perfect, right opposite the Chain Bridge. Its the kind of hotel you look forward to coming back to. Room and bathroom are also very nice. Beakfast was good but the hot food, eggs, pancakes, etc. were a little below par. Charcuterie is excellent. And the bar makes wonderful cocktails.
