This is a new 5 star hotel that is located next to a large shopping mall and amusement park. It is not in the city centre which may be disadvantageous for some but it also means less of the typical heavy Bandung traffic. The rooms and fittings are luxurious and well kept. The staff are young, enthusiastic and well trained. Compared to other Bandung hotels in the city, it is not cheap but compared to international hotels of a similar standard, it is good value for money.

Mercure Bandung City Centre is a new and hip place to stay in. It wasn't too expensive but I don't consider it very cheap either. But since it is new, I didn't mind paying the amount that I did. The decor of the hotel is modern and very pleasant. The room was quite spacious, and the bed very comfortable. I also spent considerable time at the pool, which was not very big but sufficient to do some laps. The deck chairs did not have cushions so they tend to get a little hot under the sun but you could get a towel and use that to lay on. When it got too hot, the couch and chairs in the shade were very comfortable. I most enjoyed the service provided by the staff, who were always friendly and helpful! And I'm not only talking about people at the front desk. The servers in the restaurant were awesome, so were the guys at the pool, and the housekeeping staff! However, because it is a new hotel, it has the expected teething problems. The most jarring problem that stood out to me was the breakfast in the hotel cafe. For 4 mornings, I only enjoyed the congee and the egg station, because they were the only hot food available (there was also soto in a boiling pot but I did not eat that). The other food, like the fried noodles, fried rice, vegetables etc that were in food warmers were cold because the heaters were not turned on. That defeats the purpose of putting the food in the warmers... I had dinner in the restaurant at the first night as well and the food took a very long time to come as well. But the staff were so nice that I didn't mind the wait too much. Continue to improve, Mercure Bandung City Centre! I might come back again.

The Yellow Hotel Paskal in Bandung is located on top of The Paskal 23 Mall, at Paskal Hyper Square offering a great location in the City Centre and on top of a modern Shopping Mall. Surrounded by local outside & inside food courts and many other great Restaurants including international brand name shops and top notch Cinema as well as Children’s playground. Situated in a strategic location close to the Bandung main railway station and less than three kilometres from the International Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung) makes it a great place to stay for travellers with a tight itinerary. The hotel itself is decorated and furnished in clean modern and young hip style, suited for families with children, young couples and singles. Offering a game corner, outside swimming pool it keeps young and old entertained during the day and night time. Needless to say, I recommend to stay here as it offers great value for service in a clean and fun like environment making your stay enjoyable

The moment that we have reached Bandung city at the airport, we were greeted by the driver who was happily holding on to our names in hand. Upon seeing us, he greeted us with, " Welcome to Bandung, let me assist you in bringing you to the hotel" and I dare say that the moment he whisked us away, we were in a sort of a dream vacation. The check in was a little delayed as there was a large group checking in ahead of us but it wasn't a big deal as we were served with complimentary fruit juices that was freshly-squeezed from the restaurant next-door. We had the guava and it was utterly refreshing! We booked a suite and upon entering the room, we were greeted by a 270 degree view of the city of Bandung! We were happily lapping it up in the huge suite sized at 37 sq metre which is actually comfortable for 3 people too since there's a lounge seat long enough to act like a bed, facing one half of the view of the city! There is truly nothing to fault about the hospitality of the people there. Every one of the staff was friendly to no end that it was overwhelming! We've never visited any country with a greater amount of happy people in and out of the hotel! On top of that, the breakfast buffet was fantastic! There was fresh waffles served according to your choice of dippings and variations aside from the usual egg station. What's not to love, really? We'll definitely be back in Bandung and for sure Hotel California Bandung is the only one we are going to stay in for the duration that we are there!

pros: 1. what i like most of this hotel: it is new! i love to stay at new hotels. in july 2011 this hotel was even not officially launched yet. still soft opening period so i got an opening promo rate: around idr 300,000! (usd 30) for a 4 star hotel. pretty nice. don't you think? normal rate is around now. 2. another strong point: it has wifi in each room, free, unlimited, and very fast. 3. it connects to festival ct link, a new mall in bandung. so, it's easy to find food every time you feel you want to eat. 4. there's also a children playing club, and just next to the hotel, there is a car wash in case you need it. cons: 1. the swimming pool is located a bit above and overlooking to the lobby through a glass window. it's also too narrow. i think the existence of the swimming pool is a bit forced. 2. nothing else. i highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in bandung.

best value for budget hotel seriously. located at center of kota bandung, near paskal 23 mall-walking distance (new hype mall in bandung), paris van java, kartika sari-walking distance (main store). grab is available everywhere so please just reject all offer for day tour to shopping or going to lembang if you going in small group because the fare from this hotel to the main attraction is seriously cheap starting from 12k max at 50k Rp.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Bandung Airport. Just a short stroll you can get into one of the biggest foodcourt in Bandung, Paskal Hypersquare Foodmarket. Other than that, the free water dispenser on every floor helps a lot for u to drink in the hotel all the time without worrying running out of water and was afraid charged by expensive minibar :) Tips: I didn't book the room with breakfast, pay on the spot will be IDR80K per pax. If possible, choose the room facing the empty field/parking area, very much quieter than the other side.

This was definitely the best decision made in the whole trip especially when i did not make plans ahead. I want to commend 3 of the hotel staff: SENA, WILDAN, SAKTI. They were friendly and warm, recommending us places to visit, arranging for drivers to bring us around and being our translators to breach the language barrier. Not only that, they went above their call of duty, bringing us out for dinner and visit the city after their work hours so that we can have the full experience of Bandung while keeping us safe. Special thanks to Sena for making yourself contactable 24/7 and i could even contact you when i was at Sari Ater and Kawah Putih when i faced communication problems. There is certainly no official work end hours and such level of hospitality and service levels is just unimaginable. In terms of the hotel, i am really pleasantly surprise and am in love with the magenta themed furnishings. Although small, the room is very new and equipped with everything needed: full length mirror, legit safe and even has a charging port that is compatible with the Singapore plug! The room service is really prompt, and they address us by our names, and we could borrow ironing board and hair dryer. My stay at Favehotel is paramount to shaping my whole Bandung experience and I will definitely come back to visit the 3 hotel staffs, now friends. If i were to visit other parts of Indonesia, no search is required as I would definitely pick Favehotel again :) Thank you once again!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. We traveled in a group of friends looking for a fun short vacation in Bandung. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Although the bathroom does not have bathtub in it, but the size especially the shower area is quite huge. We had a room with pool view and from our balcony in the 15th floor, we can also see the city of Bandung. The hotel is located in the Braga Walk complex where there are a lot of food stalls and the famous chain restaurant "The Kiosk". Ambiance is very nice in the afternoon, night and also for a morning walk. Around the hotel within walking distance there are also many restaurants and bakery that you can just walk to. Breakfast was standard with alternatives from Asian to Western food available. They even have pancakes and waffles! We really enjoyed staying in Aston Braga and would love to return in the next opportunity.

Arion Swiss Bel Hotel Bandung is an excellent hotel if you want to stay long in Bandung. The room is nice and its amenities are great. After a long day of factory outlets shopping, you would appreciate the comfort of the Arion Swiss Bel Hotel room. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located near Pasar Baru, where you can buy a lot of cheap and good quality local items. The Hotel building also look new and the hotel lobby is nice and tidy. Overall, I would rate Arion Swiss BelHotel as the best hotel in Bandung and I would love to stay here on my next trip to Bandung.

It was really really good. As mentioned, hospitality was unmatched by any other hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel staff went to the best of their ability to tend to our needs. We managed to have the relaxing holiday we wanted. Transport infrastructure within bandung is a huge challenge. Angkots are mostly for the locals as they are familiar with the routes, no trains or teams around, and few taxis available. We had to hire a car for the day or book a taxi, of which it took at least 20 min wait each time. However the staff made it much easier for us by helping us with these difficulties. The concierge, Agust, even ran after us as we walked towards out taxi to the airport and presented us an elephant soft toy each, thanking us for our stay and welcoming us to stay with them again. It was simply fantastic. We had a great time. Thank you Papandayan hotel!

Room is pretty and well equipped. Price is low but high in quality in its facilities and services. Staff is wonderful. I have traveled around the world. This is the best hotel for my needs as a frequent traveler: low price high quality. will come again, definitely. I have stayed at another Bandung hotel last month (price double this) and I had to take a taxi to eat. In his hotel I even got free good music and dance entertainment while I ate at the fourth floor of the shopping mall...

beautiful hotel with friendly staff, good location, good food, good decoration. i was amazed at the beauty of Bandung city seen from the top of grand sovia hotel, the swimming pool was very beautiful, looks like staying in Bali. i definitely will come and stay again in this hotel everytime i visit bandung. and i will definitely recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends. Grand sovia's location is very comfortable especially for the ones who dont bring vehicles but want to stay near bandung culinary places because the location is exactly in front of the bandung train station.

Pros: - Cheap price. I got MYR 114 wit breakfast through Agoda - Naerby Jalan Asia Afrika, Alun-Alun Bandung, Braga city walk. - 5 minutes walk to Braga city walk wich many restaurant and Alfa Mart located. - 5 minutes walk as well to Alun-Alun and Masjid Raya. -Room was good and clean with complete facilities. -Breakfast was ok for 3 star hotel. - staff was always full with smile. - Can serve internet for free using PC at hotel lobby. - WiFi was super duper fast. I like it. - Location was superb. Not to far from public attraction like Pasar Baru and Ciwalk. - No deposit needed for stay there. Cons: - The rooms available only for 2 persons. - No family rooms with 3 or 4 beds. However, I love this hotel so much. Sure will stay here again on next visit to Bandung.

I made a booking for a childhood friend of mine whom recently got married and was in Bandung for their first together trip with his wife and their first Honeymoon! I booked the rooms for them for the Deluxe Room King Bed which includes breakfast. After some research and reading up the good reviews of this place. This iconic curved-shaped building, Savoy Homann Bidakara Hotel offers elegant rooms in Bandung’s city centre. The service of this hotel is above excellent. The rooms are very clean. Staying in Savoy Homann Bidakara Hotel and you will learn its full history here. Authentic rooms with interior designs just done too perfectly. The location is simply strategic, in front of Museum KAA, nearby to Braga street and near Masjid Agung Bandung. Distance to the airport is not too far away. This hotel met my friend’s expectation. Featuring free Wifi connections around the hotel vicinity was way too good for them. This is my friend’s review and feedback after they got back to Singapore. They loved this hotel and definitely would be a great memory for them here especially for his wife. She was just too amazed with the lovely great decorations done in the room for them! Really appreciate the kind staffs over the past day there. Nice place, warm service, great panorama, delicious food, good daily activities, strong wifi access and with the right person to call off this fantastic perfect honeymoon. The feeling there was like Oh My God!!! Fabulous!!! Fantastic!!! Everything is like heaven here, Said his wife. There are no words that can describe the place, simply beautiful, cozy and memorable experience here. They will definitely come back here when they visit Bandung again. Actually I planned to stay 1 night at Bandung and choose Park Hotel because of the Price promo. I stayed Saturday to Sunday. Sunday Morning when we have our breakfast, a Staff asked my Children to join a Cooking Class to make waffle cake. I am so impressed with the services. The dining room also completed with children playground area. So the best impression of me is this is the Hotel than care about Children facilities.

Stay at Mutuara Bandung Hotel, was a pleasant one for my family. The location is only 5 minutes from airport, and most places of interest, shopping are all easy to travel to/from the hotel by taxi. The hotel housed a small but nice swimming pool, which was fun for my family to dip in after a day out. Nearby are plenty of good eating places, and several convenient stores are all within short walking distance. The only minor setback, is perhaps the renovations and constructions of new wing of the hotel and we ran into a large student group that stays at the hotel causing the wifi to be unavailable at times! Otherwise i will say it was a pleasant stay for my family at the Mutiara Bandung Hotel, recommended to travelers to Bandung.

I'm from Malaysian..i think the hotel 'Atlantic City' is a good choice when everyone to stay at Bandung..because the hotel have a good breakfast, friendly staff & receptionist, and room is very good. Hotel atlantic is a strategic area because a few minutes to train station, pasar baru trade centre, shopping mall, and so on..finally, next time when i'm come to Bandung i want to stay at this hotel....

The great thing about this hotel is the location which near Jl. Asia Afrika and Braga, Bandung. One of the main attraction during Saturday night. There aren't many options for good, clean but budget hotel in the area. I chose Ibis Budget Hotel because I have experience with other Ibis hotels before. I was right, staying at Ibis Budget was no disappointment. The only thing that was lacking was that they ran out of soap in the bathroom and I forgot to brought my own, but is not a big deal. The staffs were nice and friendly also, as I was expecting a guest that night.

We book two rooms for our family of 4. We went to Bandung during the month of Ramadhan. The main reason we choose this hotel because they provide Sahur (morning breakfast before start of fasting) and they deliver it to our rooms at 3.30am without fail. The Hotel itself is new and clean. Staffs are friendly indeed and very accommodating. The size of the room is acceptable, not too big but not too small complete with good air conditioning, wifi, flat TV with local and international channels, hot water, and great bed throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to Pasar Baru Bandung, Kartika Sari, Bandung Train Station, Mall and KFC. The best part no one smoke in the lobby area or the room. It is a great hotel to stay!

This is our go to hotel when visiting Bandung. We are quite familiar with this hotel so we felt rather qualified to give an informed opinion. It is located by a busy main road, but not too congested like some roads in Bandung. Most major attractions are a short taxi ride away if you don't get stuck in Bandung traffic. When we started staying there, it was a new hotel. Nowadays we can see some of the wood veneers peeling off, sheets and towels are less white. That said, I am particular of about cleanliness, this hotel is still up to my standard. The staffs were also pleasant and helpful as always. Check ins and outs were a breeze. The breakfast choice was rather limited, but it was also very affordable, so nothing to complaint here for the price. Good if you want to conveniently grab a bite early in the morning. If you want something fantastic it's best to look elsewhere though. Sound proofing is also pretty bad, people talking in the corridor or the next room can be clearly heard. In weekends you can hear kids screaming, it can feel like a whole village moved next to you, but come Monday everything quiets down quite a bit. I suspect most affordable hotels in the area have this problem. The room floors has a lounge in the middle, people might eat, talk and smoke there. If you want to be left alone I recommend the corner rooms, with caveat. This time round I was assigned to a room in the far corner of the floor (room 121), the wifi connection was bad, I can only manage to connect to a single network if I stand right behind the door. I asked for a change of room. Although just across the corridor, it was much better, I can now connect to multiple networks from any corner of the room. In short, service, cleanliness and wifi (with exception) are solid, 3 things that matters most to me. Facilities are limited (typical for a 3 star hotel) which reflects its affordable rates. Overall represents a good value in my opinion.

It was an awesome stay for me and my wife, our 5 days and 4 nights was fantastic. At first glance I thought the hotel was not as good as the (side) entrance was located in a narrow road. The check in was very quick (thanks Agoda!) and the room was very large, clean, and had a comfortable bed. My wife loved it. The hotel is close to Pasar Baru, a traditional market where you can find lots of interesting trinkets and across a modern shopping complex. You would need a car/taxi to get around to the popular spots in Bandung though. Many food vendors near the hotel are street hawkers which are walking distance, but for the popular foods you'd need transport. Overall I loved my stay in this hotel. It was above my expectation.

I was having a great stay in D'best. The room is quite comfortable, the location is quite neutral between Bandung city & south Bandung, quite easy to reach tourism destinations in Bandung. The hotel services are great, satisfying, & cost-efficient. Overall, it was a great experience staying in D'best, and I would like to comeback again to D'best in the future. I would also recommend this hotel for cost-concerned travels.

This hotel is located in the heart of city Bandung. It's just 10 minit from Bandung's airport. The hotel provide th airport transfer, in which I can save the taxi's cost. The hotel is just few minits walk to Braga's street, one of the most happening street in Bandung during the night time. Plenty of nice restaurant, cafe, pub, & bistro located within this street. Also, the hotel's staff help me to out-source the taxi driver to bring me to Tangkuban Parahu & Kawah Putih (two MUST VISIT places in Bandung). The rate is quite OK and the services are excellent. I enjoy in Bandung and possible will re-visit again.

I traveled to Bandung with my husband, my 3 months old baby & 2 sisters. Booked 2 business rooms at Yokotel for 3 nights. Check-in process was very smooth. They require deposit money amounting IDR100,000. They will provide receipt, please keep & return it during check-out to get back your money. PROS The hotel interior is clean, tidy & consider new. The lift is well-functioning & fast. The Room is clean & cozy. The best thing is they provided wifi at each floors. :D (most of budget hotels in Bandung only provide wifi at lobby/ common area). They provide 2 bottles of 500ml mineral water & 2 sachets of Indocafe everyday (but you need to request for hot water/ electric kettle). Bathroom is in good condition. if you want to use hot water, you may need to leave the water runs for few minutes before you shower. I chose Yokotel because it is only 5-10 mins walk to Pasar Baru. Yokotel also near to Angkut & train station. It takes about 20-30 mins to Bandung Airport. CONS Sound insulation is quite poor. You can hear people talking & walking by the corridor, phone's ringing from other room, TV sounds & the door bell rings too loud. :D I suggest they install carpet at the corridor & sound insulation on the wall. OVERALL: My family were happy with the stay. Highly recommended for budget stay. I will stay here again in future.

The staff were full of smiles and were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast spread was small (it's a small, low density hotel) but the food was great! My husband enjoyed the nasi uduk and sambal! Not sure if the location was central... because all the places we wanted to go to was spread out across Bandung, but this hotel was particularly close to Trans Studio Mall and Restoran Bumus (best nasi padang). We slept well because it was so quiet! Love this place!

Value for money hotel with nice room, friendly staff, not bad wifi speed and surprisely a decent breakfast spread. The only problem is staff are not well versed in English, in fact their English skill are very bad, but they tried their best to assist us, great efforts! Actually, most Bandung citizens don't speak English, or just very basic conversational skill, hence it is difficult to communicate with the locals.
