"It's been a nice stay. The host speaks English and she's friendly. The house is Japanese style, quiet and very very clean and neat Near to bus station, just 5 min walk Next to a Lawson and near a farmacy 10min walk to Kinkakuji and 15min bus to some temples There's no nightlife around here The guesthouse have a restaurant which offer good food. You have 20% discount for meals if you stay in the guesthouse. I gave more star for this Cons: Far from center so if you have a short stay like 1 or 2 night you should stay in center Kyoto so that you can save the commute to other sight seeing places However I enjoyed staying here"
