"Clean place, breakfast is ok, no free parking lots and to park overnight for public place is so expensive. Onsen is free and private. There is washing machine, hotel is clean and new condition. There are 7-11 and Lawson close by. The place is close to Kyoto tower and Isetan and Kyoto station. Totally is ok for spending money here."

"This hotel is only a few months old so the facilities are brand new. Although it’s about a 10 minutes walk from Kyoto station, it’s a pretty quiet neighbourhood. My only grouse is that the sheets were quite rough (probably because the sheets are still pretty new)."

"Loved the location. Very clean hotel. A very quick 5min walk to the station yet away from the hustle & bustle of Kyoto Station. The 7/11 shop just beside the hotel was super convenient to grab dinner (which the 7/11 staff will heat it for you if you ask, else there is a microwave near the front desk) after long touristy days in Kyoto/Osaka/Nara. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and used our JR Pass to go to Osaka, Nara, & Hiroshima. The price $55/night is very fair and we highly recommend this hotel. APA has another hotel just near the station but this one is nicer bacause of the 7/11 store. We used the 7/11 shop for Obento, Onigiri, Water and Juice everyday of our stay. When we went to Osaka & Hiroshima we also saw APA Hotels. If you have a JR Pass you must use it to visit Hiroshima a peace memorial park & A-bomb dome. HIROSHIMA visit was much nicer than Osaka. We also visited the Osaka a castle, Nara Deer Park, Kyoto Bamboo Forest & Fushimi-Imari-Taisha Shrine. "

"We stayed at the Sakura Terrace Hotel in Kyoto during the busy last week of November 2013. We paid US$160 per night, without breakfast, but it should be about half that during off-peak periods. The hotel opened in October 2013. It is conveniently located one subway stop south of Kyoto station, with the Kujo station exit right in front of the hotel entrance. Alternatively, it is a six minute walk from the east exit of Kyoto station. The room is 18 sq metres, and has a decently sized attached bathroom/toilet. Comfortable bed and strong flow of hot water in the bathroom. Free wifi, fridge and hot water boiler in the room. Our room was just next to the lift, but there was no noise. Split unit aircon for cooling or heating, but, unfortunately, very limited English language TV. Free washing machine and dryer located on the 4th Floor. Bar and breakfast room on the ground floor. Pleasant English speaking staff at reception. Only smoking room was available at time of booking, but the reception staff managed to switch it to a non-smoking room. Overall, I would rate the hotel as a 4-star, even though it does not have any restaurant or room service within the hotel. (Visitors have lots of food options at the restaurants nearby the hotel or at Kyoto station.) We will definitely stay there again when we are next in Kyoto. "

"The location, located inside the Kyoto station building was a great asset. The Station building itself is a tourist destination. And then travelling using JR pass became so convenient. The staff was also very helpful in both checking in and subsequently. The Concierge was of great help in planning out my activities, helping out with maps and exact locations and tourist attractions. Would recommend to stay here and would prefer to stay here once again if I come back."

Besides, the hotel is totally new, the check in were though electronic platform, you gotta make sure you received the code for check in, otherwise, u have to ring the door bell and the respondent will be fluent English speaker, so there are nothing to worry about.
