My stay was mid June with a %67 discounted price through agoda. A friendly staff from trolly guys to manager. Very supportive and quick in service, clean rooms. Areas of improvement could be in the maintenance side, knowledge of reception staff of online booking and extention n try not to blame customers for their own mistakes!! I wanted to extend my stay but they refused as the rate will change to normal price, talked to operation manager Mr. Abdullah and he quickly resolved it so i do thank him for that!!! I will come back for sure and would consider stayin in again; never tried the food, always eat outside the area is rich of historical lanscape and it is a shopping magnet.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have very beautiful memories. The location, features, staff, food and service were great. Thank you for the courteous treatment and thank you for the anniversary cake. During the last visit (this one), I have noticed a decline in the quality. I will mention what I remember: 1. When I tried to make the reservation, I visited the website. The website was not very user-friendly. There was no option to customize the package (e.g. adding breakfast, choosing sea-view or city-view, adding a romance package, etc). The offers were very fixed and rigid. The availability of the offers was not clear regarding the dates in the calendar. I tried every offer individually on several dates before realizing which date I can use it for (if it is available at all). That took me a lot of time and efforts. At the end I used a travel website to make my reservation and it was very easy, straight forward and had better rate. 2. When I used to arrive at the hotel, there used to be a free valet-parking. Not anymore. 3. We used to receive a fruit basket in the room at the check in. Not anymore. I have asked why not and the reason was "Corona" !! I don't know if they meant "infection-control" or "economic difficulties" but I did not like the answer. 4. The room had only one bath robe and I reserved it for my wife and I !! 5. The fridge did not work. When I reported that the engineer said "it's supposed to be a cooler not a fridge and it looks OK" !! That did not make sense and upset me. He agreed to bring another one "if there is a spare" !! He brought the spare one without cleaning. It did work as a fridge and the other one WAS actually broken !! 6. The quality of the soap was very different and much lower. I loved the previous brand both texture and smell. This one is very rough and grainy and smells cheap or at least regular (not as luxurious as the previous one). 7. The water accumulated on the floor of the bathroom coming from the jacuzzi. It r

I spent a Valentine's night at the hotel. Everything looked alright when we got there, except for the lady that wasn't really welcoming. The facilities are not the best, I called the receptionist to ask about the wifi password and she gave us a random answer (wrong) But the truly one thing that drop the weight to a bad experience was again the receptionist that called several times us in the room at noon to ask what time we will leave, I said "around 2 pm". She was brave enough to call us again at 1:56 to ask us if we are ready to leave. The hotel was completely empty, so there is no excuses to kicking us out in that way. The rest of the room attendance was nice and the view from the room is amazing even though we had a "partial sea view". I do not recommend this hotel, the staff is not welcoming at all and apparently they like to bother you to kick you out as soon as possible. 5/10

You can hear the sound from outside the door or and nearby room Leaking water in the bidet/hand spray I stayed for 3 nights but my room was not cleaned or made up at least once. I tried to call the room service and they told me to attend my request but when i came back, my room was not touched. Swimming pool is not small. Hoping for more improvement but i will still come back again to this hotel.

The Al Azhar Hotel was booked as a 4 star hotel, however it is only a 3 star. The quality, however, was closer to a 2 star. The hotel in general has seen ist better years and many things were either broken (sauna, jacuzzi, football field, etc.) or in need of repair. The rooms are very loud as the doors have large gaps at the bottom and allow all sound from the hallways in throughout the night. The shower on one day barely had warm water and on both days the pressure was exceedingly low. In summary, I would say the hotel is ok for those not expecting much, but it should at least be advertised as such and not as a 4 star hotel for which it is not.

Hi, A day before check-in and when I booked the room i email to make sure about late early check-in and top floor, no one reply. Therefore, I called to the hotel and the person who answers my call was sleepy or not in a mood to answer. So, he asks me to hold and he will transfer to the reservation. The trust was he just wants to get rid of me so he put me on hold. Besides that when I call back he keeps cutting the phone, several times or not answering the phone. Hotel other staff are very decent and hardworking, but entire reception team and reservation team is really bad. I advise the hotel management to check into this if they want to continue good business in future. Regards, Mohammed

we stayed here for 3d 2n. when we were at the airport to depart to Singapore, we realised my husband left his backpack and in it we had passports and money. the horror! called the reception at Dyar and Hamzah picked up. he helped arrange for a driver to send the backpack to the airport. everything was fine then. nothing missing. during our stay, we had the chance to chat with the staff. everyone was so helpful and friendly. looking forward to come back next december, inshaallah IF we get a transit visa! thank you Dyar Inn you guys were AMAZING!

My trip date from 23 May to 26 May, 3 Night, 2 junior suite. Following is what happen & issues: - Arrived @ 6 Pm & our rooms not ready for us & no rooms is empty even check out is 12 Pm, Hotel Reason the guests not response to checkout & late, 30 minutes waiting enter to any room after long car trip. - they give us suite No. 2014, very smal & we requested change the suite because of (insect bugs). - Transfer to 4 floor bigger suites & more than clean. - Restaurant is so bad with cold food nd little items including bad chef, Only decoration with lights. @ end I will not book in this hotel again

Pretty new hotel, within 10min walk from Balad, although from the southern side so there's not much in the area otherwise. Clean, comfy, well equipped. They initially wanted to put me in a smoking room, but eventually found a non-smoking, even if on otherwise smoking floor. The fact you need to argue hard to be put into a non-smoking room is a bit frustrating. But once I had a good room, I extended. Breakfast options aren't very wide but it's a buffet - I didn't have a problem finding something for me and was happy with the breakfast overall.

When I reached with my family, I gave them confirmation No. along with all the details of booked and paid room in above cited hotel. But the receptionist or the manager refused me to give me any room by saying that we don't have any booking in your name. I again told them I had already paid to Agoda, then they told me that Agoda did not send any email in your name and asked me to don't book next time with Agoda, the site does not provide proper services to customers. Afterall, when I insisted them to much and let them see the confirmation email which I received from Agoda, they gave me a room. However this all took an hour to resolve. In other words, they wasted my time and this came to me more difficult as I had reached there by doing long travelling of 11 hours. i.e. from Riyadh to Jeddah.

filthy rooms. whole carpet floor was not clean you would not like to walk barefoot on it. Bath room was smelly, water leaking that 3 cm of water was constantly on the floor. No hot water in shower, very narrow and also unpleasant to use. Kitchen equipment was next to unexistant, only 1 plate, 1 knife and 2 coffee pots for a double room suite! Hotel was supposed to be 4 stars. Because of relative high price we expected some kind of standard which we did not get at all. Was huge disappointment!

I highly recommend for after Umrah or Hajj. Near SAPTCO transfortation. Sorrounded by shops with all varieties. Asian restaurant walking distance. Complete, Clean, and organized room with bath tub in CR. Room is not soundproof. Cleaners noisy while sleeping. Balad Outside View and visitors limited with guard check. Conceirge avail to assist includes guard. Complete facilities but surrounding shops mostly close.,

I stayed in Crowne Plaza for 2 weeks. It was a pleasant stay. I really appreciate for their help coz I changed my schedule 3 times, and they did not charge any penalty. The hotel offer delicious breakfast menu, located in a strategic location, and friendly staff. For those who want to go to Makkah for umrah, the hotel offers an ihram. The staff are nice and very helpful. What made me uncomfortable was the way how they clean the room. There was a welcome fruit, I did not eat it and they kept it in the room for more than a week, and they did not provide me with complete toiletries. No toothbrush and razor, and they did not provide new soap. Other than this, everything was excellent.

i travel a lot and i always seek the comfort and location of the hotel. I stayed in many hotels and i always demand the best. Elaf hotel one of the best hotels i stayed in the price is reasonable compare to the facilities and view of the hotel. The hotel located around the beach and connected to the red sea mall. The mall is huge and have the best food court. You can enjoy the sea view and the mall all in one hotel. The staff are friendly i recommend this hotel.
