"I had the chance to spend a few nights in this beautiful building. I arrived very early in the morning and the staff made it possible to check in early. I got a room upgrade which was very kind. The staff is great: very friendly and helpful, not only at the reception but also at the buffet and the entrance. The hotel is in Art Deco style and has a lot of history to it. There's even a little museum. I'd suggest to make a museum shop with some memorable items, e.g. why not consider issuing a (photo)book, some art deco posters, reproductions of old hotel commercials etc. It surprised me that Bandung has so many historic buildings, yet there is hardly anything for sale to bring home as a memory. Maybe I overlooked... The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of choices to it, both Asian and Western dishes. I’ve some recommendations I'd like to give. First of all the Wifi. It's for free but it is virtually not working. On the website the hotel is presented as "comfort of a modern business hotel". In order to make that claim wifi should be working flawlessly. Furthermore I was a bit disappointed in the state in which the room was. Stains on the walls (esp. around light switches), cigarette burn in the seat (in a non-smoking room) are really not acceptable for a five-star hotel. I do recognize that every room has its 'life span' but this is supposed to be a five star-hotel! Some other things in the rooms are outdated: shower sliding doors (if they slide...), bed light switches, it's all very "seventies" style. I'd suggest get a good interior designer and remodel the rooms to be in keeping with the rest of the building, while meeting today's standards. The hotel has so much potential! There is also a gym, but also here I expect more from a five star hotel. Many cardio equipment was broken, and the free-weights was a mess, hard to find two dumbells with the same weight. Also not too sure about the drinking water there.... The swimming pool is very nice though. "

"i stayed 5 night here, i was lucky they gave me room with a very nice view. it sure worth the price, the room's big and clean. and it's located above a shopping mall. you can get refill everyday. one thing that's lacking from my room was the bathroom, the floor was always wet and on the last day the shower was cold. overall, it was a good choice to stay here, i'll probably gonna stay here if i have to stay in the city"

"A review from my kid: A Good, Historic hotel with Modern touches, and an retro feel. This Unique hotel has an Indoor swimming pool and an Beautiful Restaurant, with retro technology and Modern TV programs, Strategic Location within Bandung, and pretty Beautiful Scenery. We stayed in Executive Suite, while there was an separate Bathtub with Shower, and another room with Shower only, and Snacks that (If Wanted) can be paid, separately (Doesn't affect the room price, and has no effect whatsoever, that means you must buy it or you cannot eat it, because its price is individual, not included in room price) and, i would say an complimentary for the great Individual, Indoor Pool behind the Restaurant. Inside this hotel there are many Traditional (Indonesian Culture Objects), and historical objects too, referring to the Asian - African conference in 1955, while in the reign of president Sukarno. This is my review, for the Excellent hotel named Savoy Homann"

"great location near from the Historic Asia-Africa conference museum ,Bandung Mosque city square , Braga Street Governor Office aka Satay Building , the good things is the hotel is new, the room is spacious, the rooftop pool is relatively small but has a great view of mountains , the only downside is the soundproofing in the room you can hear the laugh and sound of water from the guest who stay at the room beside you. "Stayed 1 night in Deluxe room. - kinda hard to see the hotel sign. Might miss it if I didn't look for it carefully - no sign of front office, only big table with PC(s). + quick check in and check out. Staffs didn't need my agoda booking ID, they just found my booking using my name. Great job! + it's quite new building with artsy design + located just behind Asia Africa road + clean bathroom, clean sheet, and room + One of the staffs recommended legendary local Mie Kocok, we tried it, and we loved it!"
