"There are alot of 3-4 Star Hotels in Namba but for me APA Hotel Namba-Eki Higashi is the best. It is located just a few hundred meters away from the train station. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the food they offer are amazing. The breakfast food they offer for free is also great. The facilities are great and the staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel rate is also very affordable. This is only my first time stay here (I stayed in other hotel nearby before) but because of the great experience, I will surely be coming back."

"Really nice hotel in a very central location in Namba. Room was very stylishly decorated in brown, orange and cream. We had a double room with a king size bed. The room was a decent size for Japan. There was also a two seater couch, fridge, desk, coffee table and chairs, coffee and tea making facilities including a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine (200 yen per cup), extra storage unit, humidifier, and trouser press. Unfortunately no English stations working on the TV. Typical smallish bathroom with a short bathtub that you could sit in but not really lie down in. The hotel allowed us to check in three hours early after we arrived by train, very tired, from Nara. They didn’t charge us extra. There was really nothing to fault with the room or hotel. However a slight drawback was that there was far too much stuff in the room. We gathered up all the superfluous and put it in the wardrobe so that we had some place to spread out our own gear. To find the hotel from any of the Namba railway stations it is easiest if you go to Namba Walks (an underground shopping street) which is well signposted, and take Exit B21. Go UP the escalator and veer RIGHT at street level and walk a little way down the covered walking street. The hotel entrance is on the left hand side beside a Lawson store (like a 7 Eleven shop). The strong cigarette smoke smell from the lifts are a little off putting when you first arrive, but we didn’t smell it elsewhere in the hotel. (There is a panchinko and slot place in the basement.) The lobby is on the third floor. There is a very inviting garden with a fountain and amazing REAL sunflowers. Internal rooms have balconies that overlook this garden. Our room was at the back with a view over rooftops towards Namba Parks. It was very quiet. We had a late lunch one day in the Chinese restaurant of the same building (either first or second floor) when we were too tired from sightseeing and didn’t want to go out. Decent all you can eat buff"

"Wonderful location which just near by the Namba Metro exit 7 and Nankai Railway, so it's easy to go Kansai airport / famous sights in Osaka. It's also close to the Shinsaibashi / Kuromon Ichiba that you can walk to there within 15-20mins. There is a convenience store and Izakaya under the hotel, and near by a restaurant street. So it's really convenient for entertainment. The room is a bit tiny, but it's comfortable as the room is really quiet and clean. The check-out time is 10a.m. and there is no negotiation for any late check-out. There is no any reminds when you check in, and it costed me 1000yen for 30mins late. But in a nutshell, it's still a valuable hotel if you wanna stay in Namba."

"We stayed in a double with breakfast. The first thing we noticed was how great the hotel lobby was. Looked very high class and professional. A lot can be said about a hotel just by its lobby and this was impressive. The room was spacious for Japan, had a massive (42 or 46") wall mounted TV. Room was tidy and you have the option of choosing Economy cleaning where they don't wash the bedsheets everyday (which would be wasteful), and you get free bottles of water if you select this option. The location is great! Only about 10mins walk to Den Den Town (Anime-central of Osaka) and about 15mins to Namba (major shopping area). It's also about a 5min walk to Daikukocho station, which is on the main north-south subway covering major stops such as Shinsaibashi, Namba, Umeda and Shin-Osaka. The breakfast was the best and most surprising part of the hotel. It's a full buffet, with a Japanese/Western mix. Foods include bacon, eggs, beans, salads, takoyaki, udon noodles, japanese curry rice, japanese fried chicken, toast, croissants, cereals, tea/coffee, variety of juices, and a few desserts as well. It's amazing. Overall a great hotel, definitely feels more like 4-4.5 stars than 3. Would recommend to anyone. "
