"Good value for the money. Centrally located near city hall in Osaka. Subway entrance right by the hotel (Yotsobushi line, Higobashi station exit 3). Be aware that rooms are minuscule compared to western hotels. Additionally, the beds are very stiff and the pillows are substandard in my personal opinion. I'd recommend bringing your own pillow or purchasing a cheap pillow in Osaka if you are staying more than 2-3 nights. Overall a very clean and conveniently located hotel."

"We stayed 2x at the Osaka property because we could and were impressed by our first 4 nights, so we decided to go back on our way out of Osaka. Front Desk staff were phenomenal, esp. Hizoko, who went out of her way to assist us several times. Generous amenities. Superb coffee and matcha tea bar. Location is ideal particularly because of direct access to subway from hotel door. I will stay there again if I go back to any Japanese city with a Royal Park hotel branch."

"Such a lovely hotel to stay in. Would highly recommend and book again if we were to visit Osaka again. Greeted by friendly, helpful and professional staff. Check in was easy. Rooms are new with modern amenities and fittings. The facial steamer, foot massage and back massage devices in the room were a nice surprise. Room and hotel was extremely clean. Location was excellent with the Kitahama station less than 5 mins walk and close to Dotonbori and Kuromon market. Also a convenience store (Family Mart / 7 Eleven) located 5 mins walk from the hotel."

"Wifi is passwordless - maybe that's why it is so slow when I tried surfing the Internet on my mobile and laptop from my room. New hotel so staff still trying to get onboard, but still good service in general. I liked their breakfast, public bathe, and location-wise, quite convenient to get around Osaka city and nearby."

"I have always stayed with APA hotel whenever I am in Japan. I love the concept of going green. What I like about APA is the temperature of the shower can be adjusted very easily with just one knob. There is even labels with colors to indicate how much do u want to change for the temperature. The negative points for this hotel was the pillow. It is really hard. The location of the hotel can not be found on google map app only if you are within the range of the hotel. The location of the hotel is also pretty far from the station, ~ 8-10mins walk to yodoyabashi station or kitahama station. Usually yodoyabashi station will be more useful as the train goes to shin-osaka. Trains at kitahama station is only useful when you are planning to go shinsaibashi or for dotonburi. Anyway, I will still come back for APA in japan. "

"Hotel room was small, which is common in Osaka. But it was 2-3 minutes walk from Kitahama Train Station, which was the best thing. Hotel is next to 7 eleven for any emergency food. Good service, cleanliness and facilities as expected in any hotel in Osaka or Japan. Not many restaurants near hotel, but if you eat Japanese, then you have 4-5 good restaurants, and a super market in Kitahama plaza. "
