"From the moment we checked in the staff were so helpful. They let us check in early, gave us a bigger room, helped organise our luggage forwarding (at a better price than the Alpine-route service). The room was very comfortable with large bed and bathroom and a Nespresso. Location is very close to the train but still walking distance to the temple on the Main Street. Great value, fully recommend."

"The hotel is very easy to find, it is right by the exit of the J.R. train station. The city's main attraction, Zenko Ji temple is about 1.8 km away, but is a nice walk through town and well sign posted. The staff were very helpful. They even had an international charging adapter which they loaned me at no cost. There was construction going on next to the hotel, right outside my window but I could not hear anything at all. The place is well insulated with double glazing. Very nice stay."

"Dormy Inn far exceeded our expectations! It's a beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The onsen areas are incredible. Th onsen is very beautiful: there is one inside and outside. There are separate ones for men and women. The bed was comfortable and the doona was brand new. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of different options. The location is very convenient, particularly if you want to stay in Nagano for one night (it's close to the main train station) and visit the temple and monkeys. We stayed one night on our way to Happo One, I wish we had booked longer!"
