"I have a visiting friend and I booked this room for her. She says that staff are very friendly and can speak in English. The hotel is beautiful, especially the view. The onsen is very relaxing. And the breakfast buffet is really delicious. The room is Japanese style with futon. My friend was able to spend an awesome relaxing night. "

"the hotel presents a good value and has very clean rooms of reasonable size. free internet access is a definite plus! the only drawback is that the spa (onsen) is for men only ! here, the hotel should make some accommodations for their guests of both genders. the staff was very helpful in giving out printed bus schedules and directions to the next bus stop. it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop and another 20 minutes of a bus ride to the center of nagano."
