"When I first got there, I let the staff know I've made a mistake with the booking, and they offered me a solution (with a small upgrade fee). The staff is friendly and very well-mannered. The room is slightly small overall so it is hard to lay the luggage on the ground and open them (if you have big luggage case). But the bathroom is spacious, unlike most hotels I went to, which makes it enjoyable when taking a bath. The room is clean and tidy, and I find the bed and duvet very comfortable (although it can get quite hot at night if you don't turn on aircon). It is a few minutes walk to local restaurants e.g. Nakau, Matsuya, Kushihatchi and convenience stores (7/11). It is also a couple minutes from the Omiya subway station, Randen station and Shijo-Omiya bus station. For the price and its location, despite having smaller room, I would not hesitate to return to Hotel M's Plus Shijo Omiya."
