never been here before.. at first when come to this place feels like good.. this is before enter the lobby.. but once enter the parking area, found out this hotels parking area too small and too crowded.. but its very helpful when the staff offer me to help me to park the car.. what a good attitude and service from the hotel.. come the time for me to checkin.. we book 2 rooms.. 1 of the rooms is for elder people.. the staff ask me very politely whether they can separate the room on different floor or not.. i ask them its better if i can get the same floor.. they said they will try they best but its takes time.. they try call here and there just want to make sure the room is fit my request.. very very good staff performance and effort.. i kind of surprise that the staff can do those jobs for me.. i never think that they would do that.. at the end just to make sure all of my family member stay in the same floor, they decide to upgrade my rooms.. WHAT A HECK.. PERFECT SERVICE given by this hotels.. i really have nothing to said about this.. my big thanks and regards to all front desk team at that night (mba Putri if i am not wrong the girl name).. the breakfast is good also.. they provide local foods.. my moms like it a lot.. the pools also very good.. my lil girls love it so much..

I would say this hotel has the best location compared with my other hotels when visiting Bandung. In 5-10 minutes walk i can reach Progo area which offers lots of cute cafes and Distro, also Gedung sate. Hotel room is very clean and nice, also super spacious. Maybe one minus point us the swimming pool is very small, which doesn't really matter for me. Definitely would recommend this hotel to others!

I need a low budget vacation, so i went to Bandung. While checking for Hotels i found out that i have some extra point to redeem so i decide to checking out this good looking hotels in Dago. Well, it's not just good looking; the staff was also nice and helpful. While i don't bring any extra cash and my CC was declined for deposit, but they nicely said that i don't have to put a deposit and if i order anything from the cafe or take anything from the mini bar then i have to pay it right away. It was ok for me, so i heading up to the room. If you order the room using Agoda, then i should say it's a very-very-very good value for your money. :) located in one of the nicest street in Bandung and i get a room with a street view. Really comfortable with a wifi that actually working with a decent speed. And when i check out, i forgot about my t-shirt but the room service get my t-shirt back for me. It was a nice gesture as i remembered that i sometime left a t-shirt or jacket or anything and i never get em back. I will totally return.

We booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary just to stay so that we can go to the restaurant that we would like to celebrate the anniversary. But, we were surprised by the hotel. It was small but clean and has a very comfortable bed. We felt it is better compared to 5 stars hotel. We were giving note to the hotel that we stayed for our anniversary, just for fun. But to our surprise again, the hotel did a special arrangement to decorate our room. It is very meaningful to do so. The hotel facilities were ok and can't expect much for a small hotel. But it is really worth a stay. The cafe below is also exceptional, nice food.

Location at Dago Atas was convenient to minimart, cafes, and street stalls. Bedroom was clean, bathroom was minimally equipped but necessary items were provided. Great shower head and heater! Empty mini fridge provided, could be cooler but not too bad. Staff were very helpful although not proficient in English. Cafe's food was good, but more so for indonesian dishes than western ones. We ordered room service and found that the portion served then was more than when served in cafe (same dish). Prices differed slightly too but no problem. Found it difficult to get a cab and had to use the hotel car a few times, it was pricey but ride was comfortable - about 100-200k for dago/rumah mode/airport. The only problem we had was with the doors. Had problems closing and locking toilet and balcony door. Our key didnt work for the main door but I think they 'changed the code/lock' each time we had housekeeping which I guess is quite safe! The decor was lovely, a mix between western and Indonesia's ethnic culture. Beautiful hotel.

Has always been of my family’s favourite hotel to stay in Bandung ever since I lived in the city during university years. Rooms at the Towers, in particular, are comfortable & stylish. Great breakfast, & delicious afternoon tea buffet in towers lounge. We were very fortunate to stay during their christmas tree lighting ceremony in the towers lounge, afternoon tea turned into a fancy afternoon cocktail with mulled wine & fancy (& certainly delicious!) hors d'oeuvres. Though it was constantly raining during out stay, we didnt mind, because the facilities more than made up for it. Got to enjoy the relaxing spa, while husband spent the afternoon at the nice gym. Definitely the highly recommended hotel in Bandung that cater for family, couples, or even solo travellers. The only letdown is a bunch of corporate group whose loud morning activity disturbed our sleep. They really didnt need to use such loud speaker considering the small number group doing the morning exercise/games thingy. Perhaps the hotel can allocate a space for such group activity away from towers rooms?

I stayed for 1 night only here on 22-23 Dec 2018 (Something that I regret, should book for longer stay). I booked 2 rooms of Deluxe Queen, North Wing. Here is the summary of what I've experience and overall impression of my stay. Pros: - This hotel is newly refurbished and rebranding from the previous Holiday Inn Dago into Courtyard by Marriott Bandung, so you can expect the interior feels refreshed and new. I love the new modern design especially in the room. Even for the lowest category, the room still feels so luxurious and cozy. Bed & duvet are so smooth and fluffy although I actually prefer more firm bed for better back support but its still feel very comfortable. I think the room cozyness is the main highlight here. It makes you feel like you don't want to go outside. Even better is the view from the room. I got rooms in 6th floor facing north to Dago area so we can see the mountainous landscape of North Bandung. Feels very refreshing to have such a view from your room. The bathroom also looks so luxurious and exclusive. Although no bathtub for this room category, but we got a toilet with integrated bidet and shower with 2 choices of hand and rain shower. The bathroom amenities are provided by Nirvae. In my opinion this is the best 4-stars hotel bedroom in Bandung (from around 7 to 8 4-stars hotel I've tried so far in Bandung) - Parking space is quite a lot here. The common problem with hotel in Bandung is limited parking space. Here in Courtyard I think its not a really big problem as they have ample parking space including several level of basement (although basement a little small) - Breakfast quality is top notch. Although the variety could really use some improvement. 1 flaw thing here that I noticed was the croissant (I'm a big fan of it) was more like bread than puff pastry. The hotel location is great just in the corner of Dago street. At first we have a great experience in this hotel, but there are slight problem with the room service while we stay there. During our 3rd or 4th night at the hotel, we ask for change towel with the room service and we wait tuntil mid-night but there's no towel delivered to us so we just go along with the towel that we have at that time until the next day, and also I've extended my stay quite often during this stay and everytime I extend, the next day receptionist always call me at 11.30 to remind me to check out. And I always go down to the lobby to explain to them that I already extend and they must check it out with the staff on the day before. And I happend 2-3 times during my stay. The breakfast is very limited, maybe they can improved it a bit. But for the location it's one of the best value for money in Bandung.

The room super big & come with the beautiful concept. The bed is very big (king size). The staffs very polite especially at the cafe. Only the staff at the receptionist counter is not too friendly when we checked in the hotel. But the breakfast not much choice. The coffee at the cafe is nice. But the pastry is not too good (the cheese cake & other cakes). Our bath tub do not have the rubber tub close (the small rubber when u fill the tub with the water), so we put the hotel small soap at the hole. The location is good. near to Kartika Sari shop. 2 hrs to Kawah Putih. From the airport it take almost 1 hour time to reach. Cus of the traffic jam. Overall, we will stay here again if we go to Bandung again. keep it up guys.

We were very satisfied with the service given. When we arrived at about 5/6pm, there was a small buffet of local desserts which were quite delicious, coffee/tea and iced apple tea. That was a really nice gesture, to be greeted like that. The room is very clean, and with large beds. We fit five adults in one room, and in fact, the cleopatra seat was good enough as a bed. You don't really need an additional bed. Breakfast - a lot of variety. I really, really loved the porridge, probably the best porridge my mom and I ever had. Other than that, average but sufficient for me. In terms of location, we were there just for shopping and dining. It's close to all the factory outlet streets, but I wouldn't recommend walking. Do get the services of a driver, it's more convenient. Taxis seem to overcharge. All in all, a very good hotel. Especially if you're there for a short trip - can't complaint. The Wi-Fi was really fast too, so that seems to make everyone in the family happy!

Since I planned to visit Babakan Siliwangi, this Hotel is the perfect choice. No need any vehicles to go there, just walk. Unfortunately, the pedestrian walk along Jl. Sumur Bandung is not too safety for kids. We can reach Dago area just by 3 minutes walking. There are a lot of culinary spots, from traditional to fast food. In front of the hotel, there is famous cafe & lounge. They held live performance at night. A little bit noisy if you expect silence at night.

I booked just for 1 night and ended by stay in this hotel for 3 night (s) , the regia is quite new hotel, their room quite big and clean, before you enter the hotel there is Alfa mart which provides your necessity while you stay at the hotel. The don't have lift so you need to use stairs but it's okay their staff will help you to carry your bag/luggage if you had trouble to carry it...enjoy stay here furthermore the hotel is quite nearby from dago pakar area where you can find restaurants or cafe to see Bandung city and just nearby the hotel itself there are so many food stall and their taste are also quite good

It has all the basics: wifi, hot water, cable, clean room. The design is also chic and predominantly white, so it gives that clean feeling. The bed was a bit hard but I didn't mind it at all. Only one choice for breakfast and it was sauteed chicken with rice. It was pleasantly delicious but I would appreciate breakfast choices. The breakfast cafe was also far and you have to walk through the garden, so I'm not sure how you can get there when it rains. Maybe they deliver it to the room? But lots of small cafes and restaurants within walking distance so there is your dinner option. The kartipah complex is also a wedding house, so I would imagine if you happen to stay there when there is a wedding, it could get noisy and crowded. We needed a not-too-fancy-but-comfy place to stay for our short business trip and the kartipah hotel served our need.

it's easy to find the hotel because it is located on the main road. not too far from city center. the hotel is small, the room was nice. I booked for a family room (bed for persons) with additional extra bed (including bottled water,breakfast, and towel). the room was spacious. hot water was working properly. there was a time when the water was not running at all but the staff was very helpful, it worked again in no time. the breakfast was not a buffet, it was lontong sayur (already in portion), bread, tea,coffee, and fruit only. luckily i brought my protein ransom. the view and the breeze from the hotel balcony was nice, although not the best. overall I enjoyed my stay.

I visit this part of Bandung several times a year for business. Before House - Sangkuriang opened, I stayed several times at the Scarlet Dago across the street, and before that opened, I had stayed at a few places on Dago proper or on Jalan Merdeka. Compared to the other places I've stayed at in Bandung -- all of which are in the same price range -- the rooms at House - Sangkuriang are smaller but in much better condition and much more comfortable. Hopefully it will stay that way. The staff at House - Sangkuriang may be the friendliest staff I've ever experienced in all my trips to Indonesia -- they really look out for your needs as a traveler, are there to offer suggestions on just about anything, and will offer you a complimentary coffee or tea or water any time you sit down in the lobby/lounge area. (And the coffee is good, brewed in European style -- better than Starbucks!) MY ONLY TWO COMPLAINTS are (1) that the rooms are not soundproofed from street noise, so loud motorbikes coming up the hill might keep you awake until almost midnight or wake you up after 6 am (although I've had this problem in other hotels in Bandung as well), and (2) the internet in the rooms was fast when it worked, but it was down part of the time and kicked you off every 20 minutes on the dot when it was working (the internet in the lobby was better and didn't kick you off).

I rent 2 rooms during my stay on july'15. Got the 1st floor where the view was parking lot, total only 2floors above. The staff were friendly, the location was good surrounded by cafes, breakfast was okay. But the problem were the rooms, it was kinda dirty, i found insects in bathroom. My other room for my brother, the bed was broken/ unbalanced so they need to put some metal underneath to balance it out. anyhow, the rate was cheap during peak season maybe we cant expect too much.

Staying at Hay Hotel Bandung has been an amazing experience for me. The staff at the hotel were nice and helpful, providing excellent service. It was easy to check-in and check-out of the hotel. Having the cafe at the lobby is really an added bonus because the food is delicious, clean with a nice ambiance and it is also open from 7.30am until 11pm local time. We didn't have to stress about searching for restaurants that were open in the area and just ate at the restaurant when we came back from our outings. Both the cafe and the hotel has free wifi (no password required to access the networks). The hotel room is clean and calming. There is a bidet in the toilet. New sets of toothpaste and toothbrush is provided everyday. Our room is cleaned and the beds are made everyday. Also, new bottled mineral water is provided to each occupant everyday. The beds are comfortable. There are a lot of power sockets for charging. I would highly recommended staying at Hay Hotel Bandung! :)

This hotel being renovated by other management, so there's no more sanbe hotel, cause there's a transitions make this hotel not carry well like the lift not help us to go to the parking lot, all the furniture's old looks and not really clean. Everything is like pasive inside from the staff, facilities and everything but maybe if there's no transition condition this hotel can be good hotel for family group.

the hotel is quiet and relaxing. great getaway if you want a quiet trip. the atmosphere is green, refreshing, cold and breezy, as most of the views are facing trees in landscape, hills. you may see some view of mountains if the sky is clear. the temperature up the hill here is always cool not hot and humid like those normal hotels in the street of dago. you need to have your own transport to get here or going around the dago street. but if you don't have, the hotel staffs here is always ready to help you to call for cab. usually the waiting time will be between 15-30 minutes depends on the traffic the cab need to get to wisma joglo. usually the cab come from dago street to get up here. breakfast is not really great and there's not much choice, perhaps i'm staying on weekday so it less introducing the local delicacies. and there is no swimming pool. the hotel is much more quiet on weekday, perhaps only 3-4 rooms are occupied. weekend has the most tourist/locals who drop by here to catch the great view. view of bandung city at night from hilltop here is like sparkles of diamonds!

We stayed for two nights and found the wisma to be very adequate for our family of 4 with two young boys. When we first arrived, our room was in the corner and had a little smell of cigarettes. After requesting a different room, the staff happily moved us upstairs to much more cheerful room. The rooms are spacious with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Everyone was pleased with the hot water, and there is AC in the main room if you like. I would only add that the ruang tamu was not a great place to eat with young children unless you want to clean up food everywhere. The location is quite convenient for sites in Dago. Even if you are not familiar with the area, this Wisma is quite easy to find and it is accessible by car (though the road is a little narrow). The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was satisfactory (nasi goreng/mie goreng). I would recommend this wisma for other families on a budget who want a clean stay.
