"The hotel is very new, only opened in late November 2019. Location wise, it is absolutely the best!!! It is connected to Osaka Station and from the overhead pedestrian walkway (easier to maneuver the huge station city) and the Osaka/Umeda Station, we could go to Lucua, Hankyu, Daimaru, Hanshin and Grand Front Osaka departmental stores! It is simply amazing. The hotel room is clean and nicely furnished. However, due to the layout, it is too cramped for four of us. I thought the room is 47m2 but we really found it hard to move around the room. There are 4 single beds in the room and only one table top right in front of the TV with a smaller lower adjacent table where the kettle and cups are placed. We couldn't find anywhere to place our three midsized luggages other than the small floor area between the wall and the beds. There is also no shelving or hooks in the bathroom, so we have to place them outside below the sink. It would be nice if the hotel could free up more space in room."

"For a solo traveler with limited budget, this hotel is a nice stay. The room is small, which is quite common for hotels in Japan but the best thing is this hotel's strategic venue. It is just minutes away from the Osaka Station, the Dotonbori market and few subway stops from all other interesting places in Osaka. Another best thing is the hotel's Vietnamese restaurant on the 30th floor. It will give you the opportunity to dine up in the sky and you can observe the city's skyline. The only bad thing is that being Japanese they are really strict with time. There is no way you can do an early check in. But at least they will allow you to place your luggage at the lobby. Overall, nice affordable place to stay in Osaka."

"We have always stayed at Granvia 27/F where all the rooms were extremely nicely decorated, with free lounge access. This time we booked thru agoda which offered the best rate! The hotel is situated right above Osaka station and is the most convenient hotel we have ever stayed in Osaka. Close to various shopping malls, Daimaru, Uniqlo, Pokemon Centre & Tokyo Hands were all in the same bldg as Granvia Hotel, just use different elevators to access. Perfect location indeed!"

"Hotel New Hankyu Osaka is conveniently located in Umeda area. It has a direct airport limousine bus that serves from Kansai Airport . We booked a connecting room for my two older children and parents . Rooms and toilets are very clean , though there isn’t enough space for us to put our luggages, we do fine with it. The best thing of this hotel is the location . JR train, Hankyu train and subways are within walking distance . Also not to forget that the hotel service staffs are very professionally trained . My family and I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel . Thank you !"

"Japan is tough for hotels...they are very expensive and the rooms are usually TINY, especially in Tokyo and Kyoto. This hotel was different. It wasn't cheap, but it was much less expensive than the hotels we booked in other cities, but the room was GREAT. The bed was the most comfy we had all trip. The view was excellent. The AC worked great. The bed wasn't in a corner--two bedside tables! And the lighting was thoughtfully done and not harsh. Water pressure was not quite as good as the other hotels we stayed in. The location is in a hotel zone in the north of Osaka, near the main station. It was a decent location. There is a whole maze of underground pathways/shopping areas that lead you to the various stations nearby, so it was always fun walking through those to hit the metro or JR lines. We walked a LOT though. So if you're not into that, maybe stay more central or closer to a station. But it was raining in Osaka and we spent half the time underground which worked out great!"

"Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, a special thanks to The staff on January 13th. between the hours of 1300-1400. Also thanks to the evening staff and the staff on the day of my departure. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short this time, I hope to be back for a visit in the future. This is an excellent hotel location within walking distance to umeda station & bus terminal to airport (approx. 7minutes ). The room was clean and warm. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you! Best, J.R"

"No doubt choosing a place to stay in a newly visited city is important. And I didn’t regret choosing to stay at this hotel, was suppose to book for the single rooms on offer but couldn’t get one as they sold out like hot cakes. So got the next best offer. As the hotel is located near the two major train stations in the city, getting around Osaka was easy. I’ve never walked so much in a major city. As for the facilities, if they have a gym would be perfect. Plenty of choices when it came to restaurants around the area. Would recommend travelers to stay here when there are offers being offered on Agoda."
