Central to city”
Just spent 3 nights here. Everything you would need from a budget hotel. 100 yards to Kalvin Sq where buses and trams can be accessed. Rooms basic but very comfortable and clean. We opted for the environmental option and didn't have our rooms cleaned. You receive a voucher for the bar 3 euros. Great market hall a 5 minute walk away as is a bridge to take you to the Buda side. Tried a few local eateries but the best one was literally at the front door (the one to the right) Breakfast was sufficient.

The room was good for what I needed. The only thing was the room was pretty warm and the A/C seemed to just be blowing out warm air rather than cold. There was a fair bit of dust under the bed and under the desk. However, the room was fairly clean. The bed was comfortable with a good selection of pillows.

Excellent location”
IBIS Centrum Hotel is as the name says, located in the center of Budapest. It is close to the Kalvin Ter, a major hub which takes you fast to all areas of the city. Also the Airport Bus is only a few steps away. This IBIS is rather simple. No minibar/fridge- Them major negative is that no SAFE is available in the room.

the best location, nice staff, good beer in the lounge, free luggage service ;-) But it is pretty small and old room. Also you could hear a single noise from next room or outside :-(

Great inexpensive option in central area”
The Ibis Budapest Centrum is in a very convenient location. The hotel is within a short walk of Kalvin Ter underground station, which is located on both Metro line M3 (which connects to the airport) and line M4 (which connects to Keleti Palyaudvar, if you are arriving/departing by train). The check-in staff are friendly and speak English. Although my checkin time was 14:00, they let me check in even though I arrived early, around 13:30. This was greatly appreciated! The Kalvin ter neighbourhood is safe and convenient, centrally located, and is steps away from many attractions, you can also get on the Metro here. In the neighbourhood is a DM store (a drugstore, if you need toiletries) and a MannaABC, which is a 24-hour convenience store. There are also plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel itself seemed quite new. The room itself was excellent. My sole minor complaint is that the air conditioning in the room was not quite strong enough. Not enough to warrant a complaint though. Breakfast was offered at the hotel for an extra EUR 8 a day. I felt this price was a bit high, so I skipped it. You can find places offering breakfast in the area for a lower price. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ibis Budapest Centrum!

Well located and convenient to tourists areas. Be aware there are four Ibis hotels in Budapest city and ensure your cab driver know exactly which one you stay. Will definitely book it next time.

Excellent location and wonderful price”
The room is clean and tidy as usual. The location is excellent. It is located at Metro 3 (which to/from airport easily). you can find many restaurants in its surroundings. It is safe at night since those restaurants are still open. You can easily access to everywhere in Budapest by tram or metro.

This is one of the best hotel i stayed during my 2-weeks long trip in eastern europe. The hotel was clean and confortable. The hotel facilities is great, there is free PC with fast speed. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. I am truely satisfied with the hotel both in terms of its facilities and room.

The hotel is a typical Ibis style hotel. Clean though a bit small. The location is great as it is close to major transportation points for easy access to major sightseeing areas. Great restaurants are just a few steps from the hotel.

2 Night Stay”
Good location for exploring the city, less than 100 meters to Kalvin Ter underground station., bus & tram stops. Welcoming, helpful staff (Janos) on arrival. Clean room, comfortable bed and good amount of choice at breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice location, friendly service, small rooms”
the location was good, close to the danube. friendly front desk. the view from the room was not great, it was overlooking the backyards of old houses. bathroom very small, sitting on the toilet and bending forward a little, your head would hit the wall in front of you. wifi was a big let down as it was not avlbl reliably. the front desk tried their best but they could not do much.

Conveniently located close to the metro. Good quality free wifi, verrrry comfy bed. No fridge and powerpoints too far from the bed, tv was a bit small but would otherwise recommend.
