Good clean hotel, good staff, no complaints ”
As of October 2022, the street, in front of the hotel is getting some work done, however, no noise was transmitted into our room. Staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy. I was travelling with my friend and we got a room with two single beds; the beds are quite close together but make no mistake, this are one-person beds, not doubles or larger that you might get at other hotels. From a price/availability perspective it was good value and provided everything we needed.

The hotel’s location is excellent, everything is relatively close and most things are walking distance away. The staff were great, when i came, i got a room without a bathtub (which it said that i will have before booking) and they changed my room quickly. Staff that were in control of breakfast were also really friendly and kind. They also held my bags after checkout until i came back because my flight was in the evening. The rooms were cleaned every day, except the last day of my stay, no one came in to clean and change sheets.. On the other hand, my view was horrible, my room was looking at some ugly, half-destroyed house next to the hotel. The bathtub was really small, one can barely fit inside it. Noise isolation is TERRIBLE, you can hear everything what’s going on in the hallway and when people from other rooms close their doors, you always have a feeling that someone busted in your room.. every morning at 8, the cleaning staff cleaned the room next to mine which was horrific, i couldn’t sleep from the noise and they basically forced me to get up each morning of my stay. Althought the hotel was mostly clean, it had some uncleanable stains on floor and walls which looked dirty. I wouldn’t give it 4 stars.

The hotel is near of a metro station , not far away from Catalonia square , the breakfast in general is good I would recommend it , just double check on you booking They made a small mistake and gave me single room but I booked double room So I stay on it for the first night due the availability

Location is Ok, Cleanliness so-so”
Spent 5 nights with my wife and while we found the location good, the cleanliness of the rooms were so-so. Requested amenities also took a while to be brought to the room. Staff was friendly but we wish service was more efficient

Misleading 4 stars hotel”
Hotel indicated as 4 stars but it actually is 2 star at best. The room is very dirty and there is blood stain on bedsheet. Shower water didn’t seem to be clean as well as both my gf and myself felt itchy after bathing. Room don’t provide AC but according to staff that is because it is winter and we can open the window for cold air. But the problem is when the window is opened, it gets very noise from the road. We booked four nights but after two nights we decided to book a new hotel.

before booking this hotel i read some reviews, there was poor review about cleanliness, but i had no time for searching another hotel, so i booked it. room was small but enough for 2 of us. service was everyday and it was surprise for me, based on reviews i was expecting dirty rooms, but everyday my room was cleaned. towels and toiletries was changed everyday. so i recommend this hotel. location was great. near la rambla. just 5 min walk.

This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of sights in Barcelona. The interior decoration is very modern. Very close to the hotel you will find several good and in some cases also cheap restaurants. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from two different underground stations. The closest stop for the sightseeing buses is just about five minutes walk away from the hotel.

Location and Value”
I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for anyone looking to see all that Barcelona has to offer and at a reasonable price. 2 slight disappointments: on the last 2 days some early morning construction was extremely annoying (not good for hangovers) and for some reason the housekeeping simply reshuffled sheets when making the bed rather than washing and replacing. However, overall I would recommend this hotel.

Confortel Almirante Barcelona”
The hotel location is ideal, right behind the Ramblas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was ok however other roms appeared to be rather small. Unless the A/c was on 24hrs there was a sewage smell which was not very nice. Bathroom was nice, and the beds were made everyday. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but did the job I guess, we had bfast inclusive however only actually went down to eat twice! Overall I would stay there again if I went to Barcelona as the location was very ideal, not too far from the main square but also not right in the middle of the crowded areas.

I used room 107 but the bathroom floor was broken and the water ran out of the ceiling. The terrace window could not be locked from the inside. During my stay in Barcelona, I started getting bug bites and it wasn't until I got home that I knew it was Badberg. The location was so good and the staff was so kind and nice, but the facility had nothing to do with kindness. I thought I should let him know about Bedberg's existence belatedly, even through a review. That way, they'll take care of it. Now that my trip is over, but I am still suffering from insect bites.

Good place to stay”
This is a good hotel, near to sights, shops, restaurants and similar, walking from here was easy including to the station. The staff were really friendly, polite, helpful. The room was tidy and comfortable even though a little dated. Wifi worked well, there was a fridge and safe in the room and an elevator.

Excellent location, excelllent staff, subpar wifi”
Location was walking distance from gothic area and not too far walking distance from La Rambla. Kept getting kicked out of WiFi from room. Business center in lobby and lounge area. WiFi better in lobby. Beds were two twin beds pushed.m together. Double glass doors for balcony kept most of traffic noise to a minimum. Restaurant downstairs, not affiliated to hotel stays open late. Taxis available in the roundabout a block away. Tourist Bus tour stop in roundabout. Booked last minute so price was cheaper than most given location.

Decent Hotel”
This hotel is decent, but probably the only thing worth the 4 stars is the location, and the reception. The rooms need work to bring them up to the standard you would expect from viewing the website pictures (of the reception). The breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would still recommend this hotel for travelers given the very central location and the breakfast, but just don't be fooled into thinking the rooms will be as good as the receptions suggests.

Great location but disappointing service and rooms”
We recently spent four days in Barcelona and took a chance with this hotel. We reviewed the comments made by other reviewers and they were a bit mixed. Some positive; some negative. So we took a chance and booked it. Unfortunately we came to regret this decision. Despite a great location near a metro station and good walking distance to most of the major sites this didn't compensate for the poor standard of this hotel. Our room was well below the standard for a four star hotel - dirty walls, broken AC and balcony cover, broken toilet flush to name a few. As fairly laid back travellers we weren't too fussed initially and made our concerns known to the management. Unfortunately nothing was done to amend these problems, we were not offered another room and we felt like our comments were ignored. The final straw came when at breakfast (which was included) we found yoghurts that were 7 days past their sell by date and curdled. We again made this aware to management but they didn't seem too concerned. In summary if you are looking for a hotel with a good location then this is it. But don't go expecting a four star hotel; more of a two/three star hotel. Subsequently we felt it wasn't value for money and should be cheaper.

Great location, we like walking so could get to see alot on foot. Close to metro and bus stops for further sight seeing! Close to alot of great food and drinking (tapas in barri gothic!!!) Modern rooms and good price!

Can't beat the location! ”
In addition to the staff being very courteous, the hotel is near most of the major attractions. It is a 3 minute walk from the Cathedral. Yet it was very quiet.
