The location of the hotel is good, It is also clean.But the service need to be improved. No one help gusts with carrying the bags. I also asked reception for a taxi but they didn’t help.

Good option for this area”
If you're working in the Poblenou area this is a good choice - very central for the bars and restaurants. If you're in Barcelona as a tourist and have only limited time, it's not the best, as it's a 15-20 minute metro ride into the area you're interested in. Small rooftop pool, late reception, adequate breakfast (though nothing special and the hot selection really wasn't up to scratch). Junior suites nice, lots of space, sitting area, desk space to work, nice balcony with seating for 2 and huge bed.

I booked connecting rooms as travelling with three children, but these weren’t available on arrival. The reception staff were extremely helpful in finding us the rooms we required the following morning. Parts of the hotel did smell of cigarettes a lot - I struggled to sleep in the original room given as the smell was so overpowering throughout the night. This would probably put me off staying here again. However, the connecting rooms provided for the remaining part of our stay were at the end of a corridor and we did not experience any similar issues. The rooms are large and decor adequate- some appeared in need of refurbishment due to wear and tear. We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express around the corner and this hotel is comparable. We like this area of Barcelona as it is handy for the metro and shopping. I have always felt safe when out and about day or evening. A point to note - there is a large building site next to the Ilunion hotel which may bother some people.

great last minute booking option”
Flight was cancelled from BCN to LAX so we booked this hotel last minute and was pleasantly surprised. In a quiet neighborhood near Bogatell beach. I would imagine it gets more busy during the summer months. Conveniently close to the Llacuna and Poblenou metro stops, about 10-15min walk. The room was very spacious and clean. And staff were friendly.

Everything was perfect, the location is right near the shops, restaurants and a 5min wall to the beach. The staff were so welcoming and were always available if we needed as assistance !! The rooms were really nice and spacious. I will 100% be returning to this hotel when I return to Barcelona. Thank you for the beautiful rose on our departure <3 !!

the room and shower are nice. spacious room and toilet. near to convient store and some restaurant. free wifi access. about 10-15mins walk to the metro. 10mins metro ride to the central of barcelona. value for money hotel. pros: the only pro that i can think of is having to walk 10mins to the metro.

Excellent Hotel with modern furniture and decor. ”
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone. It was in a nice location away from the hussle and bustle of Barcelona but it was a nice and easy walk to the beach and to the Metro station. We also got the hop on hop off bus and one of the stops was about 4 blocks away.

The hotel was located within the business IT district. It was conveniently located not too far from the centre of Barcelona. It was also very near the beaches. Within walking distance from the hotel were some good traditional spanish restaurants.

A very nice stay”
The location was awesome! The pedestrian/bicycle promenade full of cafes, restaurants and small shops was quintessential Europe. The location is just a few blocks from the beach which was very crowded during my stay. Rooms were very large and modern furnishings. Being a bit nit picky, the hotel is very close to a 5-star, but has some minor imperfections - restaurant was vacant, but "open" and front desk had to call restaurant staff to come out for me. Gym is good, but could be bigger for a large capacity hotel. Staff could probably "tighten-up" their interpersonal skills. I highly recommend this hotel.

City Break”
What an absolutely wonderful stay. The location is perfect just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Local restaurants and bars within walking distance, in fact everything in walking distance. We walked to the gothic quarter, to the cathedral everywhere and it was all with such ease. The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel. The bedroom was very spacious and had everything we needed. Had such a lovely trip would recommend this hotel to whole heartedly xx

I enjoyed this hotel, the beds were spacious in my twin beds room, and it's speckless. I liked how we can open the windows to let in the breeze, and the heater was new and we could control the air conditioning. As far as location goes, it is accessible and a short ride from the El Prat airport, but it isn't close to the tourist sights and has a limited choice of eateries in the immediate surrounding. In the hotel itself there's one restaurant that serves average food and room service. The concierge staff persons are helpful but none of them smile much (we met at least 6, not one of them smiled at any point).

Hotel located just a few minutes away from the seafront, not too far from tube station. Many Spanish restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff was ok, polite but a bit slow and not all of them keen on helping you out. I mean, request was solved but one can feel that some of the members are not necessarily happy to assist, especially night team.

Aside from it's location away from the center of tourist attractions at the Gothic and surrounding area, this is a nice hotel with spacious room. It is however located about 1-2kms away from nice beaches with where one can expect to find good seafood restaurant. Comfortable bed to take good rest. The surrounding of the hotel is quiet as it is not located in center of tourist area. Good bathroom facilities with nice towels after a bath. Hotel does provide bottled water for guests as well. Hotel lobby has good ambiance and require room access card to proceed to hotel room for added security.

I have been in this hotel several times both alone and with friends and family. The location is perfect if you want to be near the beach. Glories is just a 5 min walk. The room is allways cleaned properly. I have never eaten at the hotel as there are many restaurants around the corner.

Modern hotel near to centre”
in the business district, so quiet at night, but with a few restaurants nearby. the beach an easy walk away with plenty of expensive eateries! the hotel is modern and very clean with helpful staff and easy access to the centre on the near by metro. i stayed in early march and the pool and gym were closed and the resaurant menu was very poor - a snack bar would better describe it. overall a good place to stay
