Had a blast here, great location, value for money and the personell are very helpful. The crowd is a bit more mature than your usual youth hostels, but still social if you seek it. Will stay here again. 10/10.

hostel located in Gracia which is nice to explore and good location to produce and tapas restaurant and cafe. staff are always nice and helpful. the shared spaces not many but kitchen is great and modern. will highly recommend too.

New, Well-Managed, Independent Hostel in a Good Location”
I stayed for 2 nights. The Gràcia district is the best area for hanging out in Barcelona. The building is modern with a stylish area to eat or work on your laptop, and a spacious private courtyard open from 8AM - 8PM. Everything was clean and the toilet facilities were good. The WiFi was fast. My 4-bunk dorm was spacious. Perhaps the only problem was the lack of coat hooks, there were only two, there should be one for each person staying in the room. It would also be handy to have more hooks to hang wet towels etc. The owners Damià and Lucia work there during the daytime and are friendly. All the staff I encountered were nice. The keycard system is convenient - one card opens the main door to the hostel, the door to your room and your locker. You must give a €5 deposit for the card, which you get back. The card stops working at exactly 11AM on your check-out day, so, be careful not to get locked out of your room if you are running late. I will stay at Jam Hostel again.

This hostel is one of my faves I have ever been to because: - Relaxed environment that is naturally social - Delicious, great value family dinners! (the Irish chef doing them at the moment is fabulous) - Free tea! - Staff are the kindest and coolest - Very clean - In such a funky part of town Thanks Jam Hostel for making Barcelona amazing for me!

Exceptional”
Excellent hostel in Barcelona. The guy at the front desk is very helpful and welcoming. It is conveniently located to Joanic Metro stop, which is walks away. Located in a cool part of the city, plenty of shops and restaurants around, and a train ride away to all of the attractions. Jam Hostel is a very clean place to stay.

I highly recommend the Jam hostelto every traveler who loves people. Everything of here was best to me. The title is the Truth to me. And you will never regret to stay over a week. Best hostel I have stayed in!”
It was an extremely pleasant stay. The hosts Damia and Lucia were so lovely and friendly and always willing to help! Upon arrival we were given maps with detailed information on how to get to places etc. The facilities itself were great and everything was always spotless and clean. The location of the hostel is perfect in my opinion as it is in the bohemian village of Gracia with pretty little roads and just a 5 minutes walking distance from two metro stations. The city centre is just 3/4 stops and roughly 8 minutes. Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Barcelona and I will definitely be coming back!

I could not recommend this place more if you’re a solo traveller heading to Barcelona. The shared spaces are really attractive and clean and make it easy to meet people. The staff are really friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs and there are activities at the hostel like morning yoga and the family dinner which again make it easy to form friendships and feel at home there. It’s also in a really pretty neighbourhood which feels local but is also convenient for getting around.

This is my second year coming to this Hostel as a solo traveler for about one week each time and will keep coming again and again. This place understands true hospitality. From the super friendly, professional and helpful staff to the super clean facilities. This is also located in one of my favorite places in Barcelona City, the neighborhood of Gracia. I do a fair amount of traveling every year and I highly recommend staying at Jam's.

Superb Hostel”
Jam Hostel's location is its benefits as well as its biggest drawback. It is near Ramblas so it takes 40 mins walk to get there. But because it's further inland, it has space that other better located hostels don't have. The dorm room I was in has 9 beds in a space that would hold 15 in most other hostels. It has spacious kitchen, bathroom, big windows that can be opened and you can see sunlight. Clean, good WiFi, friendly staff, reasonably good mattress. I really like this place.

Great social and cool vibe”
Great staff- were very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect in the busy Gracia district beside eixample. Rooms were clean, bathrooms ok, could do with a few more but it's a small hostel and I never had to wait. Attracts a cool crowd ;)

Loved this sweet, well run hostel in a very hip neighborhood”
I really enjoyed my two night stay. I liked this neighborhood immensely...there were so many great small businesses, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Super hip. And the hostel was quiet at night, clean, had good lounge area, was very good at making recommendations, and generally all around was a well run place. Would recommend and would stay again. The staff is SO NICE!

+) I could take a rest quietly in the hostel since It locate in middle of residence. All of the staffs was helpful and friendly. The best benefit for me is toilet!!!! They always kept it very very clean. -) A little creak sound on the bed

Really nice place ”
The place is very nice and easy to access any kind of transportation (metro and bus). You have to buy 10 trips ticket (around 10 euro) and can go any place that you want. It is walking distance to Park Gueel and Sagrada Familia. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. One of them gave me info about maps, to buy 10 trip tickets and etc. You also can wait in the waiting room until evening (luggage until 9 pm). The kitchen is also very clean
