    First time in Jeonju ”

This was our first trip to Jeonju city Hanok village. It was an awesome experience made even better by our stay at Samrakheon! The owner was an excellent person who provided super guidance and a map of the village to make it a more enjoyable experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room had that wooden aroma that made it even better to stay in. The mattress was firm but comfortable. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the entire village making it quite accessible. The following morning's breakfast was a treat consisting of toast, coffee, fruit, and Korean porridge. We are planning our next stay again and this place is at the top of our list. I can imagine that the rooms go quickly due to their quality.

    Wonderful experience ”

We stayed at Samrakheon for 1 night and it was a very lovely stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he help us carry our luggage and gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to do and how to get there. He even called a taxi for us the next day. The hanok room was very clean and well maintained, and it was great to experience sleeping in a traditional style bed on the floor. The location was right on the Main Street with street food and shops and cafes. We also really enjoyed our the complimentary breakfast provided in the morning. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking to visit Jeonju!

Great hanok stay with modern amenities”

This is a very clean hanok with modern touches. I was never bothered by outside noise. The sliding glass doors and windows helped filter noise and keep the temperature inside moderated. The mattress and futton is comfortable. The owner is a great host with good english who sat with us to orient us to Jeonju. I had the best bibimbap of my life at hanguk jib. We will gladly stay again if we find ourselves back in Jeonju.

Great location within Jeonju Hanok Village”

Located in Jeonju Hanok Village, it's very convenient for traveling. I stayed in a summer room alone and it was very comfortable. It's for 4 people, with one bed on the first floor and bedding on the loft. The facilities are clean and nice. I used it at a discounted price on weekdays, but it's much more expensive on weekends. There are no additional facilities to use, but the owner kindly guides you to nearby facilities. They provide toast, porridge, fruit, and coffee for breakfast for free. I used it alone on a business trip this time, but I want to go with my family next time.

    Best Stay in Jeonju”

Booked 3D2N for family trip and we really enjoyed the stay. Is abt 25 mins drive fm train station and located right in the middle of the Hanok Village. Super convenient location with lots of restaurants and street foods. Be sure to ask for the Korean addres at the information counter as most of the taxi driver does not speak English. Ths homestay owner is really nice, speaks abit of English and gave good recommendations of where to have the best food including the famous bibimbaq. Daily breakfast is also provided.
