Where to stay in Jozankei
Jozankei hotels & accommodations

We took a bus from JR station not knowing they have a free shuttle from Odori Park. The fare was cheap and we enjoyed looking at all the stops. Using waze when we neared Jozankei the bus stopped outside Jozankei Hotel. We should alight here as Hana Momiji is opposite Jozankei Hitel. But waze says it was still 1.3 KM away. There was no English name Hana Momiji outside t...

Location is smack right in the middle of Jozankei town area (is a pretty small town). Is quite an old ryokan but is spotless and well maintain. Staff are friendly and try their best to communicate in English, although the older male staff can be quite abrupt at times. My dad has a wheelchair and this place is quite handicap friendly. If you are having a meal at their J...

This is our unforgettable onsen hotel. The hotel are beautiful with classic design and some zen look area. The hotel staff are warm and helpful. They gave us a 5 star service. And we want to thank Mr. Yuri Fujiwara for the excellent service. My 2 young children enjoyed the big onsen so much. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Everything is just fine for us. Sure...

This hotel is located in the lush forests of Jozankei which allows you to enjoy the peaceful of this beautiful hotel. It takes about 5 mins walk to the sightseeing spot 'Futami Jozan Road' and with both Family Mart and Lawson convenience stores surround you. Both breakfast and dinner are offered in buffet style which provides a wide selection of food with high quality...

This is a spa & onsen hotel for local Japanese, staff do not speak English. The most important part is there is no bathroom inside the room, you can only take shower in the public onsen with others, may be is a not comfortable for a tourist like me. The view around the hotel is magnificent !!!!!

Its an excellent hotel with many facilities like even a swimming park for kids, onsen in basement and even in the rooftop, location is great and rooms have really great views. Buffet dinner and breakfast have pretty good choices. HOWEVER, as its one of the biggest hotel in Jozankei with kids facilities, the main problem is that there is just too many people there, yo...

This is an older less expensive hotel. Lots of families with kids. Large dining room with buffet for breakfast and dinner. If you are on a tight budget and have or don't mind a lot of kids, it would be ok. If you are a couple looking for something romantic, this is not it.
