Very great hôtel - super confort & perfect location”
We spent a Really great journey for 3 nights. Rooms are very confortable (amazone pillow!!) clean & all you Need. Staff helpfull. You have sauna, gyms & great breakfast. More of that the location is perfect you can do everything by walk (bar & restaurants) also the subway is at 1min. We highly recommend it.

I stayed here for 3 nights solo. I booked a room that was 258 sq ft, but the room I was given looked 100 sq ft. The staff didn’t even once clean my room in the 3 days I stayed there. The location, however, was prime. Very close to the high end shops. Upon checkout I requested a taxi. The front desk instead ordered a high-end black Mercedes which was more expensive. All the while there was a normal, empty taxi parked out front, but the desk staff kept me engaged in discussion saying they booked a taxi so the empty one drove off. Only later did I find out I was scammed as a tourist. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others. For $100/night you can find a better hotel in a prime location with excellent service.

The K+K Opera Hotel is basically set up for business travelers, with a section devoted to PCs. Breakfast was rather expensive, but considering the neighborhood, was the best (and only) deal around and very bountiful. The hotel is located one block from the Opera building..in front of that is a pick up place for a variety of Hop on Hop Off competing companies. We chose the "original one" and were pleased with the 48 hour option, allowing us to take one loop the first day on the red bus, and the second loop the second day on the yellow bus, including a boat trip on the Danube..There is a grocery store within a few blocks walk from the hotel and a few restaurants in the neighborhood.

It has become routine to stay at the K+K Hotel Opera when in Budapest. The hotel is right by the beautiful OPera House and just off the amazing Andrassy road in a surprisingly quiet street in the heart of Budapest. Excellent hotel with good staff.

The K&K Opera is in a fantastic location on the Pest side of Budapest, close to many of the tourist sites and the metro & tram lines. We stayed in a classic double room, it was big, clean and modern, as was the bathroom. The room had the standard small toiletries and tea/coffee provided, as well as a mini-bar. There was no view (just onto other rooms) but as we didn't spend much time in the room that didn't bother us. The room also had air conditioning, just need to make sure the window is closed for it to go! The staff on the front desk were helpful and friendly, and we were able to leave our bags there on the final day. All in all we had a great stay there.

Pleasant stay in a pleasant hotel ”
Just had a week long private visit to Budapest and chose the hotel after some research on the internet. I was not disappointed! Yes, the location is great, two minutes walk from the underground (itself a joy to see, oldest on the continent!) easy walking distance to different sights, restaurants, and of course the Opera. I must recommand the Hop on Hop off Bus, stops also next to the underground and an excellent way to get to know beautiful Budapest. The hotel itself is more comfortable than grand, but the rooms are perfectly adequate for a tourist. My room overlooked the courtyard, hence dark but very quiet with a good quality bed and very good shower. Breakfast was plentiful, something for everybody with very polite staff. From the reception staff I must mention Brigitta and Trainee Judith, they always had a smile on their faces and were delightful. Their other collegues, except one, were also helpful and polite. Overall a very pleasant stay, with early booking I got a reasonable price, a real value for money.

Quality hotel, well located”
I would recommend K+K Opera if you're looking for a nice, well located hotel in Budapest. It is located with 100m of the subway stop (Opera), which makes it nice and easy if you're coming to Budapest on the train. It's a quick walk to the cathedral (St Stephen) and there are lots of good restaurants in that area. We did not opt for breakfast at the hotel, but there are plenty of cafes close by. Overall, a solid choice at a reasonable price - I would return.

We had an awful experience with our original hotel, K & K were fantastic, the staff were accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were lovely, well presented, clean and staff were always at hand. We had drinks at the bar at the end of the evening and the bar staff were about to head home but catered to us before doing so. We couldn’t recommend the hotel more, the location was excellent, we can’t wait to visit again.

You can't go wrong with K&K”
Rick Steves recommended this hotel so we knew it would be a wise choice. And it was. The location is perfect. Easy walks to major sites and bus/tram/underground stops. Just two short blocks from the bustling Andrassy Ut, but still tucked away on a quiet street. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and large enough to allow for room to walk around. There is plenty of room to store your suitcases, and lots of room to hang clothes. The breakfast is VERY generous and very tasty with lots of hot and cold choices, fresh local pastries, and several coffee options. The front desk staff were very helpful to us throughout our 4 night stay. They even stored our luggage after we checked out so we could explore the city some more before heading to the airport. K&K is a great option for those who want easy access to the city, but want some quiet time in the evening.

Very good service, no problem for late check in (midnight), excellent bar with friendly english speaking staff, ourstanding breakfast buffet (open till 11am, good for sleeping in). Very clean and functional. Decent fitness center and good sauna. Excellent location in the center, walk everywhere, right by the Opera should you wan to go there. Rates with Agoda were very competitive. We'll definitely go there again if we travel to Budapest another time (in the spring or summer, it was cold last week end but I won't blame that on the hotel!).

we enjoyed the stay in K+K budapest. The hotel was in walking distance to city center and also very close to a metro stop. Rooms were nice except the view. Breakfast was good, even the kids enjoyed it.

Our stay at the hotel was a great experience, we arrived late but the staff was very friendly making our checking process very easy and smoothly. The room was cosy and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly which made the staying even more enjoyable. Not to say the location is perfect as we could easily get to everywhere by foot. Overall, it was a fantastic experience staying at K+K hotel opera!

I stayed at the K+K Budapest during a recent conference. It is a very pleasant place, with a helpful staff and an excellent location. The sauna is nice. The room was fine, but not exceptional, without a real view. Breakfast was OK, though the newspaper selection limited (also, this apparently being a German chain, too many TV channels were German-language). The gym was pretty limited – a strange universal, a couple of bikes and treadmill, but no instructions and no “entertainment” for distraction there, there were bottles of water, though.

Very friendly staff with efficient services provided and speedy check in-out. Out of expectation good quality of buffet breakfast. Just three minutes walk from the underground railway stations but the environment is quiet and safe. Shops and restaurants are nearby and major attractions are easily accessable on foot. National Opera House is just around the corner. We got the chance to watch an opera and the performance was tremendous. One thing may need to improve is the ventilation of the bath room.
