Set in the centre of Budapest, right on the bank of the River Danube, Kahwa Residence is 400 metres from Great Market Hall and 250 metres from the pedestrian shopping area Váci Utca. Hungarian National Museum is 600 metres away. All units have a TV with cable channels. There is also a kitchen, equipped with a microwave and toaster. A refrigerator and stovetop are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. There is a private bathroom with a bath or shower in each unit. Bed linen is available. we loved the location, the historic building itself, first floor with enormously long windows. it was so easy to visit all the key places in the city by feet-for us it was the most important issue because we travel with baby in stroller and walking is our preferred option. the apartment itself is very comfortable, nicely equipped.
the only thing I would add is some better blackout curtains in the bedroom

Location is perfect! Staff as well. Very kind girl in the cafe who introduced property to us! The apartment is large and has pretty much everything that average travelers need. We were lucky to be there during the weekend so the parking on the street was free of charge. Otherwise it would be a huge problem. Although it is ground floor the place is really quiet because it is turned towards the inside courtyard.
Cleanliness. The floor was dirty so my kids changed their socks every 15 minutes. The spoons, knives, coffee cups and glasses were full of small dry food remains.

A great location is you are going from there to a river cruise”

We picked this location because of its proximity to the wharves for embarking on the river cruise to Amsterdam. In this respect the location was perfect, as it was an easy walk from the room to the ship. The room itself was something of a gem. It contained a separate bedroom, large lounge and kitchen areas, as well as a separate bathroom (including a washing machine). Just as importantly, there was a laundromat next door, which allowed us to wash all of our clothes before embarking on the ship. Lastly, and very importantly, the staff are located in adjacent cafe. The lovely lady there was incredibly helpful and friendly.
There was nothing in particular to dislike about this location.
