Full service hotel nestled in German Alpine ”
We have been to Berchtesgaden many times and have chosen various accommodations: B&B, independent hotels and this time we have stayed at the Kempinski as we bring a small children under 2 years old and would like to have a bigger room with full service; the hotel responded to every need we had: close to Kehlsein house, great outdoor trails, spacious room, good dining options, superb service and nestled in a very quiet corner in the German Alps. We had a rental car and it was also very easy for us to get to busier places such as Salzberg or other Austrian lakes nearby. All in all a very good chose for spring/summer time.

Beautiful Flawless and Scenic”
The staff were ever so friendly and welcoming. Service we received everywhere in the hotel was flawless. Johann Grill food is superb and the hotel room views from every angle are stunning. Parking and the bell service was great and even when the super cars from the car show the staff still had time to look after our rental! At the spa the pools were so beautiful amd again excellent service and cleanliness. Everything is so well designed and organised we had an amazing time and couldn’t fault anything. What a great team you all make. Thank you we can’t wait to return!

5 Star Hotel”
We booked to stay for 2 nights celebrating my birthday. A lovely cake was sent to a room as a complimentary from a hotel by lovely Brittany. She also served in a restaurant for dinner and breakfast....lovely and smiley person...Thank you ;-) We planned to have dinner at Le Ciel to celebrate my BD, were told that it is closed and waited for an hour to get a table in a restaurant. Second day of staying, outdoor pool was closed for technical problem. They could not get anyone fixed it because of Sunday. That was ashamed because we came for that, relaxing weekend in an outdoor pool and over look the mountain. Breakfast was Superb!! Reception/restaurant/spa staffs were very nice and helpful...very professional. I definitely will come back and highly recommended to all my friends.

Stunning Alps view with 5-Star breakfast! (Berchtesgarden egg benedicts was splendid) Outdoor thermal pool and Spa area is a must! We went during weekend so a bit crowded with family and kids. The rest we did have a pleasant stay.

Best in class Hotel ! Service, Sauberkeit, Design, Gäste alles perfekt . Einzig die Frühstückspreise sind etwas sehr hoch. Dafür bekommt man aber natürlich auch alles geboten was man sich nur wünschen kann - und das bis 12:00 und Sonntag sogar 13:00. Wenn man aber nicht der große Frühstücker ist ist es doch ein happiger Preis. However wir kommen definitiv wieder !!!
