Relaxing get-away from the city”
Our family wanted to go near an ocean but did not want to be surrounded by a lot of people, noise, or tourists. So, we found Kor Sor Resort and liked how it had a private lake. We have no regrets. The staff are very friendly. The bamboo trees everywhere are amazingly rustic and lull you to sleep. There are random chickens, roosters, and even turkeys who wander the grounds. The pool is amazing. We swam with our children every day in the multi-pool area. Our favorite part was renting bikes and biking around the complex but also down the street to check out this really neat, gold Buddha at the end of the road. Kor Sor is a 15-20 minute ride into Hua Hin, so if you want more action, this may not be the resort you are looking for. But the resort offers free shuttles into town 3 times a day, which was easy and gave us some time to explore. You can also set up private taxi services through the resort, which is great if you want to do a day trip. Our Superior Villa was rustic but clean. We especially loved the outdoor bathroom but it is not for anyone scared of bugs or creatures. They have other room options for someone looking more for a hotel-type room that is completely enclosed and most likely, bug-free. The rooms are small and we had an extra bed, but we didn't mind and hung out at times to watch TV or read. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. It was very large with eggs, ham, bacon, cereal, toast, different juices, and some Thai options as well. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel as a get away from a big city and to just hang out and relax. I would recommend it for any family. It is very safe for young children and we would definitely consider coming back here.

Lovely, romantic resort”
A perfect place when you´re looking for relax! Me and my wife had a romantic time, and our 3-year daughter loved the pool and running around in the area. Not very far from center of Hua Hin either and the hotel had a free shuffle to the center so we had many evenings in the city, and a taxi back cost 250 bhat so no big deal. The staff was very helpful and did always their best even if there were some language problems...finally, living up in a tree was also something special. We can highly recommend Kor Sor!

most people go to hua hin for beaches. but for people who want to be near with nature, this is the place for you. kor sor offers clean rooms. hotel staff speaks good english, better than the hoteliers in bangkok. and lastly, each room is fronting a man-made lake where you can enjoy kayaking.

One of the loveliest resorts I have ever visited!”
Our visit to Kor Sor was truly a treat. We were a bit leery on the way there, as the resort is a bit off the beaten path, but it proved to be worth the drive. The grounds are lovely and and well kept, and the room was well accommodated and quite large. The swimming pool was also quite relaxing and enjoyable, and although things seem a bit spread out, nothing is far from anything else (perhaps a five-minute stroll). The food was also quite good, and made up for the somewhat limited selection. And, for a change, I felt that the hotel was built to a high standard: Often, hotels and resorts in the Land of Smiles (Thailand) are built of low quality material and feel flimsy or cheap; I never had that feeling while at Kor Sor. I is a quality resort all around! I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as we did!

Perfect get away A++”
Me my girlfriend and our daughter came down for just a couple of nights for my girlfriends birthday. The resort is about 5 - 10 min drive from hua hin center (it isn't very far if you got a car). The location is perfect, away from all the noise. We came down on a Thursday and Friday and left on the Saturday, no one was on our side of the lake on the front I believe, so at night we sat outside with no one about. On saturday people started arriving at the resort. Apparently it's more of a Thai destination and I don't think I seen any other farangs there, but I would definatly go and check it out. Not for young party goers I wouldn't imagine. Very quiet resort. The gardens are stunning, and the pool is sooo nice my daughter loved it so did my girlfriend and me! Also, the staff are some of the most friendliest I have come across in hotels and resorts here. They are were very friendly and were great with our daughter.

Unique experience in Hua Hin”
This is one of the hotels that I will stay again. It has great value for the price paid and the atmosphere is very unique. Unlike other hotels in Hua Hin that would advertise for beach view. The hotel is located on the hill with a lake. You can immedieatly feel you're a part of nature. The highlight of the room is the toilet and bathroom which are outdoor, open air, and it's kind of embarrassing but cool at the same time. You can see the trees and the sky while showering however people outside can hear your shower as well. The swimming pool is also designed to look like a natural pond. Very cool and yes the water is also as cold as the the appearance.

nature haven, peaceful and perfect for a rest”
It's a beautiful setting with a peaceful feel about the place. The greenery is just lovely. There were not hundreds of other guests, just a few, which we enjoyed. Staff were friendly and went out there way to meet our needs. The room was spacious and was all we needed. On the lake with plenty outside eating areas where you could eat take out food from other resturants. We hired motorbikes, otherwise you will end up spending a lot of money on taxis, the walk to the nearest shop is not really easy walking distance. It was windy, so being far from the beach was not problematic, as the beach was unpleasant. The pool was cold being in shade and we found we needed to move the loungers to the lake and dip in the pool when warmed up. The kids lived on the paddleboats and bicycles and loved the space to run. The resturant was good for thai food as well as western. There is no spa on site, they arrange someone according to your request but there plenty to choose from in Hua Hin. We loved our stay and will definately be back!

the deluxe villa is gorgeous - highly recommended, the free bike hire and shuttle service are wonderful, there isn't a spa at the time of writing it's currently being built but there are a multitude of reputable massage establishments in hua hin town for a fraction of the cost of an in hotel spa. The pool is ok but it's in the shade of bamboo so no sun bathing if you're into it. The food is fine but eat local, don't go for the steak! All in all a friendly, pleasant hotel for a relaxing stay

Beautiful setting, friendly staff”
The Kor Sor Resort is pleasantly situated on grounds that include a beautiful secluded pool, small lake, grounds and paths to bicycle on, etc. It is truly a peaceful, restful place to stay. The staff is friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

Great resort, just like the photos, but better. ”
Many times we have visited hotels and resorts from this site and found that the photos of the resort were out of date, just like the hotel. But here was different. The photos were actually what the hotel looks like with one exception, the waterfall only flows during the wet season which is no problem. The room was perfect, quiet, comfortable private and clean. The staff were great and friendly, and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Only one problem. This hotel is not wheelchair or pram friendly, and as we have a small child it was difficult getting the pram to and from the room.

A quiet retreat away from town”
We had a great time at Kor Sor. The Tree house was a novelty but it is very small, the villas are much bigger for the same price. The Resort is about 20 mins from the main town so great for a quiet retreat but if you want to be close to the action this place isn't for you. Overall I'd rate this a 7.5-8 out of 10.

Back to nature resort”
Resort is built around a lake which is a really nice, unique touch...although the water level depends on the time of year you visit. The pool is great, shaded by bamboo. Nice place, would stay again if in hua hin, but next time in the tree house! Own transport recommended.

Decent and peaceful resort with friendly staffs”
Even though the location is a bit far from downtown area of Hua Hin, I really enjoy the peace and quietness. The staffs are super nice and helpful. Food are not so great yet still acceptable. Had a great time there.

lovely bungalow type of hotel”
nice hotel, during the week we were the only guests. It is 10km from the center of Hua Hin so you need transport to get around. The hotel provides for a free shuttle but the frequency is to low. starts in the week from 3pm. Friendly staff and well maintained bungalows and pool.

Lovely hotel and service with great staffs”
the place is very nice in a quiet garden area with a nice lake. rooms are not much, so guests are few. the staffs there are very helpful which we are very much satisfied. the pool is clean, just that the pool is surrounded by bamboos, in winter time it blocked most of the sunlights, so a bit cold to swim, and leaves kept falling down to the pool, the hotel staffs have to clean the leaves by vacuum all day long. as it is located at the rural area, ants can be seen on the table and washing room. hotel provide three kinds of set breakfasts, not much selections, but well enough. as the location is far from the downtown and the beach, it needs 20 minutes drive, hotel provide free transportation to hua xin, but time is fixed.

Normal price for this roomtype: 115€. I got flash-deal and just paid 30€. Wow! For 30€ you get a lot. High quality bungalow with outdoor shower (no bathtub available). New furnitures and ceiling window. Nice arranged bungalow "village" within a bamboo garden. The swimming pool is the best I ever had: large, surrounded by bamboo, shady. 115€ is too much for 1 night, but 30€ is an absolutely reasonable price.

Our stay at Kor Sor Resort”
Kor Sor Resort is a very quiet place we were the only people staying there when we arrived. This place is a long way from a main road (where you might get a taxi or motorbike to town) town itself is I would guess more than 10Km’s away there is nothing near the hotel. At the hotel all the rooms/buildings are set around a lake, it looks nice and offers a choice of rooms/buildings we went for one with the outside bathroom, this is basically a room (4 high walls) but no roof, the bamboo trees make a bit of a roof. Both my wife and I thought this was nice when we checked in. Unfortunately one of the hotel staff used the bamboo trees to climb up and spy on my wife as she was having a shower. When I went to complain to reception they didn’t seem too bothered and one guy even accused my wife of lying! I was furious and wanted to call the tourist police. The hotel did say we could change rooms but we decided we’d had enough and wanted to check out. (no refund was offered). I would not recommend this place to anyone.
