Clean convenient base for exploring Kyoto”
The guest house is walking distance from Kyoto Station and so makes for a very convenient base for making day trips by bus or train within and beyond Kyoto city. It is quite close to the aquarium and several significant temples. The facilities are modern and very clean and the proprietors are kind and very well organized. Excellent internet connection, good safe storage (bring your own lock), and communal kitchen and laundry area are also available. The owners prefer guests to be out during the day (so they can clean), and kitchen hours are also restricted to morning and evening, which can be inconvenient or feel a little uncomfortable at times.

Comfortable and good price”
Good place for people to visit kyoto since Japan's hotel rates are high but Guest house Kyoto at a reasonable price and place although I spent lot of time finding it. It locates in a thick community which confusd my bad mapping brain. But the map of it is clear enough. I rent a bike. Please take care of yourself when riding. It is different feeling of the big bike. I fell over and hurt myself.

Good value and excellent hosts”
The guest house is very close to the temple of the West in a very residential area. It is really near to the stop of the bus 205 one of the most convenient buses to move around Kyoto. Facilities look new and are clean. The rooms are ok with AC and heater, free coffee and tea and clear bathroom. Good value and confortable stay. I would repeat.

even though we book a room for 3 person and there is only 2 of us the room is still considered good value. and the staff is great, they waited for us until midnight. highly recommended for who looking for guest house in kyoto.

The bath room and room/ bed is comfortable. Shared kitchen but only open in limited timing. It's a very quiet guest house. Comfortable. If coming to Kyoto again. I will stay here.

Good hostel near Kyoto station”
I have stayed in female dorm,the room was very clean ,Good Wifi. can walk from Kyoto station if you are not so tired. its closer than take the bus. in my last day I took the bus to Kyoto station the owner guided me the way to walk to bus stop and he speaks English very well.

Must stay in Kyoto ”
A super friendly and cute couple who helps us during our stay in Kyoto. Very tidy and neat. Comfortable beds and close to the Kyoto station. Bus stop close by too and supermarket. Bike rental also possible. Def would come back if I visit Kyoto again. 고맙습니다 ~

Great for the Price”
Comfortable place to stay and you can't beat the price. The staff was friendly and clearly laid out the house rules. Wifi was fast and the rooms and showers were very clean. The only problem was the hostel was hard to find. It wasn't far from the train station (~10 min walk) but on a very small side street.

Great value for money”
Location is 5-10 minute walk from Kyoto station. Clean and it has everything you'd need. Staff/owner was helpful too when I said I was planning to go to Golden Pavilion. He gave me map and told me which bus to take. It was a great thing because somewhere online said bus 101 but it is actually 205 that goes near there. 👍🏼

We stayed only one night in transit back home. Very clean and tidy guest house. You can rent bikes for yen a day from the guest house great way to see Kyoto.

A perfect guesthouse near Kyoto Station. I booked two nights at first but extended another night. Owner is really good and friendly. Guesthouse is super super clean, quiet and comfortable. Definitely worth very high recommendation.

The Location near Kyoto station, near Halal Ramen Ayam-Ya, the Staff is good and the room is clean. there are any public kitchen, you can used freely and coffee and tea also.

Close to Kyoto station and reasonable price. Good with fluent English speaking staff. We had had a hard time sleeping for two nights due to our room being next to the dorm with people being noisy. Not a good guesthouse if you are sensitive to sound as the insulation is poor.

Very clean hostel, atmosphere okay”
The hostel is very clean and a 10 minute walk from kyoto station. The staff is very friendly but seem to be a little unflexible when you do not follow their rules. The atmosphere is good, but as there is no common room, you only see other people randomly. Summarized it is worth to stay but the typical hostel atmosphere does not occur.

My stay was really nice. Considering the price i have nothing to say. Perfectly clean, nice people. The only thing is there's no room in the dorm for the bags so if it's full then it's a bit small. Perfect for a short stay in any case i think.

Located on a quiet street, some less observant guests might have trouble finding it. It is quite a good walking distance from Kyoto Station but still manageable, unless you are struggling with heavy luggage(s). There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby, though not many.
