Exceptional”
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and have plenty of room and amenities. The staff are very nice and helpful. Tucked away in the Gion district, this hotel is very close to a bus stop with service to/from Kyoto Station as well as points north in Higashiyama to make getting around Kyoto quite easy. Roughly 15 minutes walk through a quiet neighborhood and one of the geisha districts will get you to the north/south Keihan Line and the east/west Hankyu Kyoto Line for when you want/need a subway. There’s a nice cafe an around the corner to the north with tasty breakfast options and there are many food options in the area.

Fun stay in Kyoto”
The hotel is situated in the middle of Gion, a perfect walking distance from Hanamakoji, Hakon-ji, Ninenzaka, even Kiyomizu-dera. The staff has someone fluent in English so it was very helpful. They have a really nice room design, budget Japanese style which we love. Also they are close to really good restaurants like Okuoka and おうどん居酒屋 真ん中つるる. Overall great stay, would recommend to everyone!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, we got there quite late first night. It was raining which was unfortunate and made it hard to walking around. We were looking for a place to eat, the hotel provided brochures of food guides, Kyoto’s map and event lists taking place that month. The staff was helpful recommending restaurants and call us taxi when needed. The room was nice and clean, it has bigger rooms then those on Tokyo. I am grateful for the heated toilet. The hotel is within walking distance to Ninenzaka, Yasaka shrine, Yasaka pagoda and all the way to Kiyomizu temple. There’s a small shrine just 20m from the hotel. We had a very comfortable stay after a long day. The bed was very nice to sleep in. I would stay here again if I go back to Kyoto.

Location: 10/10, Center of Gion, walkable to station. There is a bus stop right outside the street Services: 10/10, the staff are trained to help tourists and super friendly. They even give you a list of good food around Gion. Room: 9/10, very spacious, we could open 4 X 23kg lugguages flatly in our room. Price: 10/10, not expensive but look for the cheapest price thro diff channel. Agoda did price-match after we found a lower price on their page.

Bad experience!”
Did book twin bed room but provided double one. Requested to change but receptionist did not understand our requested. Finally changed but bath room water leakage and made flooding inside. Kyoto dream tour was broken.

3월말 교토 벚꽃여행을 위해 청수사 가까운 숙소를 알아보다 1박을 한 숙소예요~ 기온거리에 위치하는데 기온 중심에서 살짝 안쪽이라 조용해서 좋았어요 방문전 식당예약으로 이메일을 주고받았는데 너무 친절한 응대덕에 아들이 가고싶은 교토 우동맛집 방문을 할 수 있었어요🙇♀️ 너무 감사드려요!! 숙소도 깔끔하고, 조용한 위치에 있어 좋았구요, 청수사는 도보로 15분정도 걸렸어요~ 근처 공원도 있어 산책하기도 좋아요(도보로 5분거리) 참, 기온쪽 식당 이용시는 미리 예약후 이용하세요~ 저녁을 예약않고 몇군데 가니 대기가 너무 많아 시간이 많이 걸렸어요 돌아와서 바쁜 일상덕에 후기가 늦었어요~^^ 다시 한번 친절히 응대해주신 직원에게 감사드립니다!! 내년 봄 교토방문시 또 이용할께요

교토에서 처음 1박을 했는데요~ 우선 숙소 위치를 우선으로 생각하고 예약했는데 위치적으로 지하철역과 니넨자카, 산넨자카, 청수사 등과 거리적으로 가까웠습니다~ 거리 상 아주 만족스러웠고 룸 컨디션과 깔끔했으며, 호텔 관계자 분들도 아주 친절했습니다~ :)

一開始寫信過去確認有沒有訂購成功，西村先生很快就回信了，這邊硬要挑毛病的話就是廁所比較小，其他都很好~而且離花見小路很近，想在祇園這邊觀光的話很推住這裡，房間也夠大。

Lovely stay”
Visited this hotel late June, made very welcome on arrival. The room, like most in Japan is a little on the small side but ok. Many amenities more than make up for this. Excellent location in the middle of everything but because it is in a little street also very quiet. Would definitely recommend
