Located not far from Minamisanjo bus stop after taking a bus from the airport. When checking in, the staff explained everything in detail and gave me a hotel guide in Korean. My review is based on the price I paid during my stay. The breakfast was good and the large bath was nice to relax in the evening (although it can't be compared to Korean saunas). The only downside was the mattress. It wasn't bad, but it could have been better. However, the kindness, smiles, greetings, and well-organized rooms of the staff make up for it and can be forgiven. I promised my family to come back to Sapporo for a summer vacation. And my choice is Hotel Racent. I give full marks to the sincerity and dedication of the staff. (For reference, I stay in hotels for more than 60 nights a year, including overseas business trips. This is the first hotel that I give full marks to.) The meals are better than the breakfast at a 3-star chain hotel in the US.

Great help with luggage (kuroneco)”
The staff here were amazing help with dealing with our delayed(unpaid) kuroneco luggage delivery from Tokyo. We were unaware we should have prepaid the luggage transfer and despite the language barrier they arranged to accept it and communicated at every chance with us. We really appreciate the extra mile, it relieved a lot of stress ! On top of that, the onsen is a must visit, very clean rooms and attentive room staff ( topping our water etc)

Location and facilities ”
The location is close to everything. Station, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing is perfect. Onsen is the best. The hotel operating is longer hours than I thought. Closed 1:00am of the onsen. Friendly staff at reception and hotel breakfast is very good. Happy to go back again.

Superb location. The room is very clean and comfortable with all amenities available to pick up at the lobby. I really love the onzen. The breakfast is Japanese styles with some Hokkaido ingredients i.e. fish, milk, rice. 5 stars for everything!!!

Well trained staff & child friendly ”
Staff at reception counter are professional and very friendly. He provide us extra pyjamas and slippers for my children. Good for family travel with children. Within walking distance to odori park, shopping street, and lots of ramen shops nearby. Good place and we enjoy our stay !

Exceptional”
We stayed in the residential double room, with a full size kitchen, laundry, a living room and a queen size bed. The room is spacious enough to fit a family of 2 plus a kid. A plus for having a laundry in the room so we can do our washing. It is about 1 minute walking distance to Tanukikoji 狸小路 4/5. Hotel Breakfast however is not up to a standard, choices of food is not quite enough. But we would stay again if we get to come again because of the room size.

Great Hotel”
This was our third time staying here. Twice as a family of 5 (3 kids under 5) and this last time was as three (us and our youngest). Great size room (we booked larger Japanese style room), quickly put a baby bed in for us. Love the Japanese style bath on the 3/5 floors. Breakfast is a must :). Will continue to look for deals here if we stay downtown Sapporo.

Recommended hotel stay ”
Service rendered by one of the staff is superb. Didn’t manage to get his name. Followed us to the nearby carpark as we couldn’t figure out how Sapporo car park works. Checked in was fuss free as well , just a small mishap as the room has a weird smell and the same guy assisted us to change to another room. Apart from the smell everything is near perfect as i am someone who is ocd but find the hotel room very clean ! Lastly they have onsen in the hotel too ! I’m amazed even though I didn’t try it.

It was very delightful to stay in La'gent hotel. Especially Korean staff Mr.Choi had provided great service to our couple. We manage to get to Noboribetsu onsen station with the help of Mr Choi, He was very kind, thoughtful, considerate. It was great stay!

The staff are very nice and helpful. They have no trouble communicating in English. The onsen are just perfect. They provide you with everything you need before and after bathing like free skin care products, body sponge and even ice lolly.

Staff are friendly, polite and very accommodating, especially the staff in the parking area. Location is good, near in mall, restaurants, etc. The rooms are clean.

Overall Great”
Everything was pretty standard with good food, good amenities, good public bath, good service, etc. It's just that there's nothing to shout about this place and the bed was not the best. Would stay again because it's a really great bang for your buck. The izakaya and bar nearby are fantastic!
