Not a bad place at all, good location close to tram services and English garden; wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast prices need reviewing, far too high, especially when so many good eateries around at a fraction of the price. In all, good clean hotel great general value and a good location.

Great for running in the park”

The English garden is 1.5km away (and green space is even closer) so perfect location in that respect. Doesn’t take too long to get into the city or the airport either.

Hotel is run down. Dirty room. Room service did not make beds and provide toilet paper. When I arrived the tissues were not refilled and the water in the zinc did not flow through. Big choice for breakfast but pathetic food quality. E g the bread was dry and not fresh. Overall lousy overpriced rundown hotel far from the city center

Great German Hospitality”

This place was a really great hotel - and at a bargain price. Rates in Euros were advertised twice what we paid for 2 nights for one night (thanks AGODA!). Welcoming friendly staff, great bar and restaurant (pricey, but the Euro is hammering the pund so that'll be why!). Very clean reception and ahllways. Room was wooden, beautiful bed (v comfy) and the shower was just what we needed as it -6 outside! tv and mini bar available. Had a fantastic couple of days and the hotel really made it a pleasant experience overall in Munich

Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff”

While a little out of the town centre (7 or 8 minutes by taxi) the hotel was very comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel was very well priced and free parking was available on the road outside the hotel. The hotel also has a small spa and good internet to the bedrooms. The Arabellapark with its 'English Garden' and beer garden is also close to the hotel and was a wonderful feature which we hadn't expected. The hotel is also close to the motorway link to the airport.

Poor location but good price”

If you are looking for price, it is all rounder for price, room size, and service. But the location is far away with at least 10 mins walk to the U4 train. Not for older couples. if you dont know germany( munich) dont go there, go somewhere closer to the city centre. Nevertheless, it is good for singles and younger people who are looking for good price and comfortable bedroom ,bed and bathroom. If you are cycling it should be good too.

The Hotel is great if you have a car because of its location.If you catch the train to the hotel from the city center email the hotel and ask for instructions on the short cut from the local station to the hotel as it is about half the distance of the long cut that we did inthe rain.If you arrive late and the restaurant is closed go to the bar on the first floor as you can order nice a pitza to late.

This hotel is very far away from the underground or the bus, in the "middle of no-where". The rooms are very small and the hotel is a bit old. The staff is friendly and one of the pluses is the free internet access in the loby (in the rooms there is internet access for a fee). Overall it is a reasonable hotel.

What else could have gone wrong ??”

My transport wasn’t waiting to pick me up at the airport in spite of confirmation the day before. This delay made me decide to go directly to my meeting at another hotel nearby The Leonardo. I made my way to the Leonardo late evening and exhausted only to be told that the hotel I booked specifically for its location was fully booked and that I would be transferred to another Leonardo, 15 minutes drive. Again, my booking was confirmed just the day before. They provided a taxi and my compensation was a chocolate, which I politely turned down. The next morning there was a mess up with that two: two taxi drivers were called and there was a confusion of about 10 minutes as to who would drive me to my destination. Nobody explained what you was going on so I just stood there. I eventually had to add to the fluster if the receptionist and remind her that I was standing there and that I was the client. I can’t review Leonardo because I never got to stay there.

OK hotel; getting old and a little out of the way.”

Sauna and steam room entry / exit into the main reception area. Not at all happy to be charges 18 euro's for parking on site. Poor number of channels on the TV. Old mindset re wi-fi; latest hotels offer this free of chargs.

1km away from metro station”

Of all the holiday inns I have stayed in various countries, this must be the worst. Staff is not well-trained, at first told me WIFI not included, but the manager pointed out it was free. Waited more than 15mins to check in even though there was only 1 person in ahead of me, why? only 1 counter staff. From the map it looked like its near to metro station but its very very long walk... would not stay here again
