Old town center, great breakfast, good size rooms”
We stayed here for 4 days and it was a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and very thoughtful. The hotel room is good size with sufficient storage space and a very nice bathroom that is modern and everything works well (water pressure, temperature). The hotel also has a really high quality breakfast - one price with cold continental breakfast and hot cooked Bavarian favorites and a barista coffee included. Not the usual black filter brew that hotels tend to serve. The hotel is served by multiple transport options (subway, tram, bus) and most of the sights are walking distance. Lots of food options around, Bavarian beer halls, the viktualien market at the doorstep and many international options too.

This is the best location right across from the market and steps from Old town Altstadt. Room is comfortable size with a smart lay out, and very quiet. Lots of warm touches like robes, slippers, minibar, nespresso, apple cider. No regrets. Americans, you'll need a power adapter.

Room is modern but small”
Clean but room is small with weird configuration. But location is really good. Right beside the market. Too bad, the room faces inside so the window faces the corridor, have to draw the curtains all the time for privacy issues. Staff not entirely friendly, just professional. For single traveller, the room size is fine but for couple, a bit small let alone is family

They gave us room 514 in the annex building behind the main one. The door of the bathroom doesn't close and the hot water ends after the 1st minute of shower

Great location, but substandard room”
Location is great, which explains the steep price, but the worst bed I have had in a long time, solid as a rock. Along with no blackout curtains and a noisy Aircon + bathroom exhaust you can't turn off meant I didn't sleep a wink

The deluxe was far from deluxe. My room was outside the building and instead of said garden view looked onto nothing but had no privacy as the windows were on the walkway so had to close curtains the entire time. Then the electronic fob stopped working as the panel couldn’t cope with the freezing temperature. If you remember the days of outside toilets - this is how it felt coming back after a long day at work. Great location, nice staff but rooms not as advertised.

Ideal location...sleek and modern hotel”
As other reviewers have pointed out, the hotel's location is fantastic: right in the middle of the central district, 5 minutes walking distance to Marienplatz and the shopping, museum, parks, and restaurant areas. And literally across the street from the Viktualenmarkt, the central market place for Munich residents with many stalls, kiosks, shops, sitdown eating places, etc. offering just about everythiing in the way of groceries and fast foods. The hotel itself has recently been renovated and modernized and is very contemporary. Small and compact, like all buildings in the center of the city, it's still comfortable, efficient, clean, and tops for a moderately priced hotel right in the central district. My wife and I had not expected too much, and we were absolutely surprised and happy. We would definitely return.

The hotel was modern, clean, and the hotel staff very friendly. The location was absolutely ideal, i.e., adjacent to the Viktualienmarkt which you can see from your hotel room.... if your room is on the street side. The windows also do a great job at keeping the noise out. The only part that was not enjoyable was the bed, i.e., too hard. It would be great if the hotel could add a few inch thick memory foam topper to each bed, perhaps upon request from hotel guests. This being said, all in all, an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again..

Love the cozy ambience of the modern rooms. Location was just across Viktualienmarkt, less than 5 minutes walk to Marienplatz. Very friendly and personalized reception service. Room comes with free beer, coffee and water.

I loved the location more than anything else.As a flight attendant for Pan Am and Delta I came to wonderful Munich for many years.I have my favorite restaurants, museums, the opera and shops.I was able to walk everywhere.The staff was very helpful, especially Emily Joop.I spent 5 wonderful days with my husband at your hotel and will come again soon.

This hotel is located right in the Viktualmarket. We had room for three and it was large and nice. Staff was helpful and always eager to make your stay wonderful. Can't go wrong staying at this hotel when in Munich.

best location with affordable price”
I was traveling with my wife and 3 years old daughter. It was very great moment in Munich. The hotel close to everywhere, specially wuth best attraction in Munich. the bad thing is only the elevator is to small, it was hard for us to get in with stroller inside it. But that was not a big problem.

Step out of the hotel and you're right in the middle of everything. The market stalls, biergartens, shopping, restaurants and just overall beauty of Munich are right there. Staff is amazing and the hotel is very nice. Excellent choice.
