The room was quite spacious, with well equipped kitchen, the only bad thing is the cleaner forgot to change the shampoo and body cream (they were half full and also the shape was squeezed a bit)

Lovely hotel with bi-level superior rooms”
Thie hotel was more of an apartment (as the name implies) but at a hotel price. The location is not in the old town of Nuremberg. However, it is on the southwest corner of the old town and very close (2 km) to the main train station (hauptbahnhof). The superior room featured two floors, with living, dining, kitchen, and bath downstairs. Upstairs (open to the lower floor) was the bathroom, working area, and balcony. It was a nicely sized room. The double bed is actually a complete bed (rather than two single beds pushed together).

Great facilities, location and friendly staff”
Fantastic hotel! I went for a long weekend to Nuremberg for sightseeing as well as to get some work done and the hotel's set-up was perfect for doing so. Great location to the Old City -less than 10minutes to get to there, and very well-lit streets, which was important for me as a solo female traveller. The hotel room was a perfect size for me and included a good-sized desk at the side of the bed which I got a lot of use out of, and the kitchenette provided meant I was able to cook my own food to keep costs down. I had a room facing the courtyard, so no issues with noise either. Had nothing but friendly and helpful staff who answered all of my questions in a polite and courteous manner. No complaints whatsoever!

Lovely clean hotel located close to the old town. Wouldn't fault it apart from no air conditioning. BUT this is Germany and it's more cold than hot so I can totally understand. Would still recommend to anyone travelling to Nuernberg

Nice large room”
The room was large with one small table and one desk and one large-screen TV. Two chairs were there for each, and also one short couch. The kitchen was on the doorway which contains microwave, cooking stove, and several kitchen wares. The stove didn't work and the pot was broken; but there were teas and coffees. Microwave worked, so I used it. Toilette was clean with shower booth. Sufficient hot water, shampoo, and two towels were provided. Big window made me freezing in the night, but overall it was quite good. Two large markets are in 2 min walk. But it may be bother to go to the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof(main station). I used to walk to the main station and to the Altstadt, where most of sightseeing points are, it was walkable! And Derag livinghotel is close to the Memorium Nuremberg Trials!

Value for money, great location, but cleanliness....”
We loved the hotel! The lobby looks old, but the room was nice and cozy, and has kitchen. The location was perfect, not too far from city center, and close to the station. However, one problem for the cleanliness. The bath mat we used was already full of hair, and it was disgusting, and disappointed. Other than this, we had wonderful stay.

Such a modern hotel! The room is well equipped with mini kitchen, dining wares and fridge. The location is also nice, which is near to the S-Bahn station and easy to get there. The bathroom is big and comfortable enough. There is a LiDL supermarket opposite to the hotel, you can buy ingredients there and cook in your room!

The staff were fantastic, we stayed over Xmas and the nice touch of cookies and gluwein was a treat. Hotel has a supermarket next door and is close to transport facilities. Sparkly clean, great internet and a big tv is always nice. Thank you

Apartment hotel in convenient location”
Over the past 10 years I have stayed many times at Maximilian and was always satisfied with the spacious/comfortable rooms, the excellent breakfast buffet and the friendly service. Complimentary beverages *beer and mineral water) are appreciated. For a longer stay the apartments with kitchen are very convenient and cost-saving. Especially during major trade fairs the room rates are (too) expensive. Therefore, it is advisable to book early. Agoda offers are usually much better than the regular rates.

I was very well received by the pleasent staff at arrival. The room was quite big and ok. A little expensive during an exhibition but thats normal I believe. However, nice food in the restaurant even if the serving of it took almost an hour. The meal was even not warm anymore. For the rest I had a nice walk in the area and a nice evening in the bar at the hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights, staff are generally friendly. Hotel is well equipped. Can be noisy, if possible ask for a room that is away from the main lobby. About 15 minutes walk to old town. Overall ok, but can give other hotels a try too.
