Loved this hotel. The staff, the food and the ski in and ski out location was great. The staff were extremely helpful. Loved the onsen as your muscles desperately need it at the end of a days skiing. Rooms were warm and comfortable and you get some traditional clothing to relax in. Initially I thought it was strange that you had to book a day in advance (usually) if you wanted to have dinner at the hotel but once I had dinner there I understood why they needed to do that. The dinner was always delicious and a lot of time and care went into preparing it. Absolutely loved the meals and the relaxed atmosphere of this place. The breakfast is just enough but it would be nice to cook the eggs to order instead of getting them cold as they've already been cooked, but once you get used to the way they do things it was fine. Lots of stairs for tired legs but it keeps you fit. Fair walk into town and back at night especially if you've had a few drinks but overall I loved my stay and would definitely be back. Particular thanks to the manager at the front desk he is very helpful to the guests.
