Agoda did not list the company's phone number or check-in time but after contracting Agoda we were able to sort things out. Very friendly staff that can speak English fairly well. The hotel is very well located. It's close to the station and close to the bus station to get to the mountains. The room we stayed in had a shower and a Japanese style toilet. For the price it was a very good experience.

There were very few restaurants around this hotel. And few good restaurants are fully booked when I tried to find. So need to book the restaurant you want in few days before at least.

A great place for budget traveler”
You can save in accommodation and enjoy the local hot springs. You can buy cheap food in Lawson (which is nearby) and use the microwave, electrical kettle and fridge to prepare your food, and spend money on enjoying the mountain views. What a smart travel plan!

Es un posada (ryoukan) medio moderna respecto a sus instalaciones aunque con ciertos elementos de vieja data como el baño en la habitación que está a nivel del piso (estilo tradicional japonés); sin embargo cuenta con un sanitario estilo occidental en el primer piso. Es un hospedaje económico, sencillo, limpio y bien ubicado sobre la vía principal del pueblo. Tiene agua caliente tanto en el lavabo como en la ducha. La calefacción provista es usando un calefactor de kerosene entonces hay que ser cuidadoso con la circulación de aire fresco. La habitación es de estilo japonés con tatami en el piso. Proveen de futón, cobija y edredón. Se recomienda tener una pijama térmica o ropa bien abrigadora. La habitación contaba con su baño y ducha privados. Dan toallas de cuerpo y de manos, shampoo-rinse y jabón líquido para el cuerpo. Un modesto televisor, un armario y una cómoda. Tienen microondas y teteras eléctricas en el pasillo. En el primer piso tienen una máquina expendedora de bebidas. El estacionamiento es gratuito y justo en la entrada del hotel. El personal es amable y cordial con las preguntas que le hicimos. Hay algo de indicaciones y señales en inglés (no está del todo bien traducido) que ayudan un tanto a saber el uso de las instalaciones. Se puede tomar ducha desde las 6:00 hasta las 10:00 am y luego en la noche hasta las 10:00 pm porque el ruido se filtra entre las paredes que son delgadas y eso es típico de construcciones japonesas. Cerca hay una tienda de víveres. Es un lugar para lo necesario, descansar, relajarse y dormir para los viajeros con un presupuesto ajustado.

ロッジヴィラ八方”
建物自体は少々年期がはいっていますが、掃除もいきわたっており、清潔感はあるかなと思います。今回は素泊まりの連泊したのですが、バスタオル・タオル等交換していただいていましたし、ゴミ箱も交換していただいていました。アメニティも無料でついていました。和室に泊まったせいか、トイレは和式だったのが、年配者の私にはつらかったです。(笑)

คุณไมโก๊ะเจ้าของที่พัก นิสัยดีครับ เป็นกันเองดี ใจดี ผมไปเช็คอินก่อนเวลาเค้าก็ โอเคร ปกติเป็นอื่นเค้าไม่ยอมครับ ผมไปพัก หลายครั้งแล้ว ทำเลที่ตั้งก็ไม่ไกลจาก สถานีรถ บัส เดินเพียง5 นาทีก็ Lawson คราวก่อนลืมกระเป๋าสตางค์ เค้าก็เก็บไว้ให้ ทุกห้องมีห้องน้ำในตัว ครับ ในราคานี้ผมถือว่าคุ้มค่ามากครับ

ผมไปพักที่นี่ 3 หนแล้วคุณไมโกะ เจ้าของที่พักใจดีเป็นกันเองดี คุ้มกับ ราคาที่จ่าย ห้องน้ำส่วนตัว ที่นอนสะอาด ครับ ใกล้ สถานีรถบัส และร้านอาหาร ผมเดินไปทานเสต็กแถวสถานี รถบัส ครั้งหลังสุดไปเช็คอิน ก่อนเวลาตั้ง ชั่วโมงเธอก็โอเคครับ เป็นที่อื่นอาจจะยอมให้ฝากของแต่ไม่ให้เข้าห้องแน่นอนครับ

The hotel is well located with bus station, convenience store and supermarket nearby. The hotel is clean and cozy. The host is kind and friendly. When we departed Hakuba to Tokyo, she even drove us to the bus station at 6:00am. I highly recommend you to stay in this hotel in Hakuba.
