Stayed here after the Yasmin but the Losari beach was significantly better. Nice location on the waterfront; short walk to the Dutch fort. Staff friendly and efficient. restaurant much better and with greater variety. Rooms larger too. Recommended for this price range, particularly in Makassar where choice is limited.

Nice but aging Hotel.”
My stay at Losari was great because of the staff; ther were very friendly and attentive. My room was actually very smelly and they got me a better room right away. They also went out of their way to help me out finding information and booking my trips. The hotel was nice but I find the rooms to be very dark and not so well-maintained. Makassar is a pretty noisy town too (I feel like I didn't sleep much...)

Losari Beach Hotel is a hotel with a nice location, in front of the Losari Beach one of the famous beaches in the city of makassar with a beautiful view of the beach at night and can be jogging in the early morning. The room are pretty clean, but the temperature less cold and hard to sleep.

nothing great about the rooms as the hotel is a bit old. however the sorrounding area is great especially those who want to enjoy with with local music from kabera open lounge. there are plenty of pisang epe stalls infront of your hotel at night and morning jumbo sale along the roand infront of the hotel is something that you may enjoy while staying in makassar.

Old and Tired Hotel fronting Sea.”
Was disappointed when I discovered the hotel rates was cheaper then the Agoda rate.(No tax and service charge). There is no beach though there is the sea in front of hotel. Hotel is real tired, and the refrigerator was not working, they should put in another one. (Rm.505) Bathroom always wet, maybe a leak somewhere or the shower curtain not effective. Don't take taxi outside hotel. Ask reception to call for proper honest taxi! Many Malls to visit, best was underground one and Trans Studio. Both within 10 mins drive away. Do visit the Rotherdam Museum. Enjoy the pleasant cook at breakfast, she fries the eggs!

Relaxed and friendly”
I would advise people to pay the extra money for the deluxe room, the superior we were in the first night was next to the karaoke bar which went off till 1am and the bathroom was was very small. However the Deluxe room was spacious, larger bathroom a great view over the ocean to a close island. There is no beach here dispite the name but the locals hang out watching the sunset every night.

The location of this hotel, undoubtedly strategic. It is just in front losari beach. Restaurants are located around this area. The room was clean but unsatisfied with the bathroom. They should have checked and fix the bath-up. Overall, the experience was OK

it was good ”
It was good. Room that we stayed in the air con was placed in an awkward position and made it difficult to get enough air in the room, but once they moved me to a better room. It was great. The air con worked good and we were far enough away from the smokers that we were happy. My wife and I liked how close her work was from the hotel and that it had good shopping and good restaurants in the area. I would stay in this hotel again if it had a pool as I love to go and take my wife swimming.

Medicore hotel in prime location”
The price on the Hotel is exactly the same that Agoda give, so in the end I pay more because of tax. Unfortunatly our room have window with wall wiew. The hotel is quite old and dusty, but in very prime location. You can take a walk around the beach, and many good seafood restourant,and shop in walking distance.

An old hotel that has seen better days”
The hotel staff was accomodating in allowing us to set up our touring bikes upstairs in an open area and letting us store our large bike boxes in their store. Its basically an old hotel facing a busy road. The beach is not fantastic but offer nice view in the evenings and mornings. As a transit hotel, it is fine.
