Great location reasonably priced hotel”
On arrival we were upgraded from a standard room to a suite overlooking the sea. On our return twice to Makassar we booked & stayed in a standard room. Whilst the standard room was not quite as large as the suite and without the view (window looked onto a wall) and without tea/coffee making facilities it was perfectly large enough & adequate for our needs. Rooms were clean, breakfast was mainly Indonesian but would cook an omelette on request. We liked the 6th floor Sky Garden with great sunset views whilst enjoying a happy hour beer. Hotel was centrally located a short walk from Fort Rotterdam. Staff were friendly & helpful, they did not charge for an international phone call when I had problems with a bank card. In addition you could use the internet facilities at the neighbouring Losari Beach Hotel.

Perfect Location with Decent Room”
I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my wife. They have good price for room, and nice service. The best thing of this place is its location. The Hotel is located in center of Losari Beach area which is surrounded by many Gift shops and restaurants. The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast. It really could use better taste.

but at great location for tourist”
Quite an "old" Inn situated together with rows of beside the "losari beach hotel". We was given a room without window as per "the price" with a spolit air-con thou they have repair it!For 2 days we did tolerate with the situation but after we request for a standing-fan..we were finally shifted to other comfortable room at no extra-charge. No other serious comment that we can highlighted.

This once good hotel on a great seafront location badly needs a re-vamp. No wifi in room, basic minimum TV channels windowless rooms ... there are many more modern hotels to stay at in Makassar - low Agoda price is the only plus point

Not the worst, but needs some renovation”
Not the worst I've stayed in Indonesia, but needs some simple renovation... small problems: Water appearing on the floor of the room not near the toilet or aircon... every day housekeeping would mop it up... every night it was back. When I was there the lift broke so had to walk 4 flights up. Breakfast could be better & more plentyful... by 8am it was almost all gone

Getting a bit tired, could do with being upgraded.... more TV channels, aircon service, & maybe some Western items on the breakfast menu... BUT.... for a short 1-2 night stay it is ok

however, the rooms are quite old as other reviews say! they also generally do not have windows to the outside thus it feels very closed in! the breakfast was less than desirable and the air conditioning did not really work too well. not worth the price!
