The hotel is walking distance from train station, in quite area but near from gion. They room is very clean and modern, and its beyond of our expectation. They have paid washing mechine but the dryer isnt like others coin laundry, your cloths will not be 100% dry. They should inform the guest before, I dry like 3 times and it cost 300 yen and 70% my cloths still a bit wet. Will be lovely if they put those information for the guest. Luckily we stayed for 2 nights and able to hanging our cloths in our room till dry.

Check in and check out was very easy with the automated system. The hotel was clean. I was impressed with the touch screen codes to access your room instead of using a normal room key. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, walking distance to subway station and city centre. Located in quiet residential areas. Smooth check in and out through automated tablet. Facilities are basic, with missing amenities and manned counter only in the morning, making it inconvenient to request things.

Convenient and comfortable ”
Very convenient and comfortable stay with minimum service. Staffs are not stationed at the reception (available when you need help) which is the key for low prices and totally efficient. You enter the front entrance and your own room with a passcode so no need for a key card. Usually at this price rooms are small but spacious enough to open up your suitcase. Bathroom shower is sufficient but a very local public bath is also available within 5-mins walk if you want to experience one. Location is great, train station is nearby and easy to walk to downtown area or tourist spots.

The hotel is located in a lovely quiet area which is nice. Room great size, so can not complain and quite clean. Staff approachable and able to sort things out quickly which was great. A bit pricey for just a room but I'm guessing this is mostly due to the location

The hotel is located a block away from the main street just a few minutes away from Pontocho Alley. I love our room, simple, modern, very cleam and most of all more spacious than a regular hotel room here in Japan. Staff are very helpful.

Location is about 20 mins-25mins from the main city centre and also Kyoto station. Walking distance to Gion is about 15 mins-20 mins. Hotel is clean but they have rules with only cleaning on every 3 days, so for OCD people, it might not be suitable. Wifi is not very stable and on one night it was totally unable to connect.
