Good hotel for the Congress”
Excellent hotel. The staff is mostly friendly . The breakfast should have have more healthy cereals. But the city of Bremen looks more and more as the suburbs of USA

To spend the night while travelling is more than satisfying. To spend a weekend if you would visit Bremen would not be recommended.

Comfortable room but needed a hot water pot”
Hotel was in a very convenient location. My family lives down the street so I could walk there. Train station 5 mins away by foot. One thing I would have liked is a hot water pot for tea and coffee. This is common now in most places with basic rooms. Wonderful park across the street.

the hotel did not have my reservation when i checked in. i was glad they had a room available. bar was closed for the weekend. the cost of light meal was very pricey.

In many regards a disappointment...”
- There were a few good things, don't get me wrong. For example, the staff tried their best to be friendly and welcoming. At least they tried. But that's all very standard for a hotel. So why pointing it out? The negative experiences stick however. A few cases: - Free internet available but so slow that it's not usable, even for e-mails. Why offering it at all? - Parking and breakfast costs another 40 EUR on top, per day. - Hotel is clearly in it's older days. A renovation is overdue. - Burned myself in the shower twice because the water temperature goes up and down spontaneously. - No aircon, heating only available during certain months. - Lift always stops at the lobby, if you want it or not. - Bed: pillows very flat and blanket almost too small. What size do they expect their guests to be? - Overall it's really not worth the money, even for German standards. Come on.

Benötigen Sie schnelleres Internet gibt es die Möglichkeit einer Zusatzbuchung. Das Frühstück kostet 19€. Wir bieten jedoch auch ein kontinentales Frühstück für 9,50€ an. Das Parken kostet 18€/Tag. Gerne ist Ihnen der Empfang aber auch behilflich eine günstigere Parkalternative zu finden. Eine Sanierung ist bereits gestartet. Letztes Jahr war das Schwimmbad saniert worden. Dieses Jahr folgen die Bäder, danach die Zimmer. Die Bettdecken haben ein deutsches Standardmaß (135x200cm). Wir haben auch eine Kissenauswahl. Fragen Sie gerne beim nächsten Aufenthalt danach. Over all is Excellent, easy access to the city , friendly accomodating staff. Pleasant room with decent amenities and relaxation areas like the SPA's.

Great location, Excellent service”
The hotel was pretty good although some of he decor was pretty dated. I think it needs a bit of a facelift. The staff where fantastic and very helpful. The Hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre but its a nice enough walk and its nice to be away from the centre. Its about 500m from the main train station which is really handy for moving on to other cities and generally getting about. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel Maritim”
Over all this is not a bad hotel but it is a little dated. Staff were very good. Internal link to conference centre is handy if that's what you're there for, otherwise better value hotels are 5-10 mins walk away and are better situated for tourist attractions. Did not eat breakfast in hotel as it was 22 Euro's.

Maritim is something from 70’s or 80’s. Should be renovated soon. Smell of corridors was very unpleasant. Rooms were also dated.

It's an expensive hotel. Some receptionits' attitude was pretty poor. There should be better hotels near/city center.
