Great location”
We stayed here for two nights and got upgraded to a mini suite with a balcony overlooking the old town. Room was very nice Location excellent. Only thing is that the sauna is only on in the afternoons. For a hotel like this option should be there to switch it on in the morning as well however receptionist advised only afternoons. Never experienced that in a 4 star hotel

Hotel Maritim Nuremberg - Great location and value”
The Maritim in Nuremberg is an attractive hotel, with full amenities typically sough by customers from the United States at a more reasonable price than the US brand chains. This hotel provides good value. The property itself is centrally located within 2 blocks of the central train station, and is comfortable appointed, with an attractive lobby. The restaurant is large and comfortable, with an excellent buffet breakfast with a large variety of options. I found the hotel staff quite knowledgeable and helpful regarding Nuremberg, and very accommodating to special requests. Internet service was quite good, and while the television had limited channels in English, this is typical for this market. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and a great value for those who would prefer a European-chain experience to an American hotel chain.

Maritim steady as she goes.”
Disappointed a bit this time around. The room was at the back of the hall and it was hot. The air conditioning did not work well. My colleague was in a room right in front of the elevator and the room was fine. so it seems Maritim's air conditioning system needs an overhaul as the further out the air ducts from the compressor, the weaker the performance. So hope management fixes it as I really like the Maritim. The location is superb, the breakfast next to none, the rooms spacious. Another thing, the staff could use more courtesy training. There seems to be a bit of an attitude. Maybe Maritim thinks their location allows them attitude. Just my take but good businesses don't rest on their laurels. They want to maintain pride in their reputation. Question is, does Maritim value this business traveler's opinion. We'll see. As a last note, the Meridian is a viable competitor. There are more expensive but if maritime doesn't make changes, it'll be the Meridian next time!

it was avery nice stay in avery central location to the city. 12 the room was very comfortable and proper with anice bed and a nice bathroom. 14 the stuff of the reception of the maritim hotel was very friendly and professional.14 the most surprise was the very beautiful modern swimmingpool with a very nice sauna and rotlicht area. 17

Nice hotel, with view on city Altstadt”
Nice rooms, good minibar, lot of services available at the hotel. Easy to reach the center of the city on foot, close to railway station for easy connection and easy parking. Fair prices. Only drawback: the service which should definitely be improved (a lot of visits of hotel personnel in the early morning.. : 4 visits in less than an hour starting at 9 am.., as well as communication difficulties..). A bit sad, because it could easily be improved by a bit more training and better organization..

Excellent location, very helpful staff”
The hotel is in an excellent location, a few minutes' walk from the central station and the entrance to the Old Town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the staff on reception and in the restaurant/bar are very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurants was excellent and the choice of the wines in the bar very good. I will certainly stay here again and would heartily recommend the hotel.

A nice hotel and a good deal for the money. The location is fantastic, very close to the old city and the train station and easy and close to walk to both. The rooms were a nice size, although the beds were very soft.

Great Location. Right outside the old city and near the Germanic National Museum and near the main train station. Not to worry about the tunnel some people mentioned.Cheap parking is easy to find right around the hotel.. or in the city garage across the street. Don't use the parking garage attached to the hotel if you'd like to safe some money. Rooms are big enough and clean, but need some updating. Would chose a cheaper hotel or a nicer one that's just as much or a bit more expensive.

A very nice place to stay”
We stayed only one night but the hotel is well managed and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great and had everything. The staff were very helpful and efficient. Very nice.

Awesome location and service for the price”
The hotel has a retro well maintained 80s style. There is a small swimming pool and sauna for guests to use. In the public area they provide free apples and lemon water, which made our stay rather comfortable.

the hotel location is very good. however, the room is so old and ugly!!! i have travelled to nurmberg for 15 years, and maritim is always one of the most popular hotel for business travellers. the bar is double price, no coffee/tea and water boiler in room.

Perfect location for travellers”
the hotel is located in the perfect location near by the main train station, you only need to walk 5 mins from the station. buffet breakfast was great. only down point is the bed is really too soft, if they improve their bed, it'll be the perfect spot for visitor to stay in town.

Early check-in (around 1000 hours) was allowed without prior request. But the hotel's wifi service is poor. Could not connect at all times. Besides, there is no electricity and air-conditioning early in the morning on our departure day.
