Excellent city centre hotel”
My first time here at the Metropolitan, I booked it for the good price, and was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Only a small hotel, but the room was new and large with king size bed, very nice bathroom and all the usual amenities. Very comfortable hotel, with pleasant, helpful hotel staff. The hotel position is very good, close to all local facilities, and only a 4 dinar taxi ride from the airport. The hotel also has free shuttle bus which took me to airport on departure. Certainly it will be my first choice on future trips to Bahrain.

When I reach the hotel, it doesn’t have the looks of those grand hotel (5 star), but for the money that you paid, the service are good. The room don’t smell, sufficient lighting available. Only thing that I find that can be improve is probably more air circulation in the near hotel lobby, the air smell a bit stale. The reception & manager are friendly, will go back again

this hotel is in a very good location.. bahrain is a small country, only few tourist attraction to see.. we have a nice room. with 2 lcd tv, since we have a junior suite room. i will recommend this hotel..

Indian Hotel in Middle East”
This hotel is located in a noisy area. In the night time, many drunken people are wondering around the floor where Indian lounge or Arabic loung are equipped. The breakfast is gorgeous and the room interior is also splendid.

The receiption gave us a warm welcome then check in very quickily.When I enter the room, I found the room is much better than the picture in the Agoda. website. And there are two TV in my room. The airconditioner is very cold, but it is old so it is kind of difficult to adjust the temperature. General speaking, I am satisfied with this hotel.

beautiful weekend in bahrain”
the metropolitian is in a good location just off of exhibition road and close to other nice hotels like it's sister hotel the baison which has a great bar called warblers. the bar at the metropolitian f-1 is one of the hottest bars in bahrain with disco and live music nightly. the drinks are normal price and service is quite good for all the crowds.

This has been a great, centrally located Hotel for many years with a very helpful and friendly staff and management. There is always a friendly face and smile to greet travelers and seem to handle any and every issue in a professional manner. Rooms have been remodeled making them comfortable, safe and roomy.

Not My First Preference”
Hotel really was so so, it seems like its heyday was about 10 years ago. The restaurants, bars and clubs have all be closed down. It's basically just the room you get. Rooms are large, good airconditioning, decent water pressure. Bed is firm and adequate pillows. Not really much to say. This would not be my first preference, but it is a hotel room that is reasonably priced in a decent location.

great staff, especially the bell man he is always polite and eager to help with my luggage plus the desk staff and manager always attento any and everything i ever need. the beds are quite hard but the rooms are very nice, clean and quiet if at the right end of the building.

I have stayed at this hotel about three times now so i guess it is not all bad. There is a great bar on the lower floor, several good restaurants close by, great arabic sweets shop accross the street.

Overall the Metropolitian Hotel in Bahrain was a nice local Arabic/Western cross styled recently rennovated giving it a more up to date look to the rooms. Nice bathrooms, wall mounted HD LED Flat screen TV. Many local restaurants, shops and bars, great for partying if that is what you want. The in house disco/bar F-1 is one of the hottest bars in Bahrain with live bands, disco, fast food, good drinks, events, security and beautiful ladies.

Metropolitan Hotel, Bahrain”
Not a nice place to saty. The rooms are tidy and clean but so noisy. The walls must be made of paper. The restaurant/bar within the hotel is absolutely terrible. I am glad that I was alone there as I would have been embarrased if I had taken my wife to this hotel. Pleased that I only booked 1 night. Bahrain has wonderful hotels that are great value, this is certainly not one of them, it is awful.

Great location but hotel needs upgrades”
no microwave in room,that sucks.only one elevator from lobby and its very slow,always busy. the beds are very hard,and i do mean very hard,its like sleeping on bricks. everyone that you call to your room gets a big hassle,i mean even delivery drivers are forced to stay in the lobby and you have to wait even longer for a bell hop to bring your food to you. i would likely not stay there again to much hassle.
