Fantastic service and great value”
Everything was clean and adequate. The rooms are a typical "Japan" small but laid out very well. The staff is exceptional at getting you where you need to go and offering any help and recommendations as requested. Great common area which is conducive to meeting new people. Great location to the slopes and downtown.

This is the second time we stayed here this weekend. The staff and location are great and Souza always has good recommendations for food and boarding. They are also very helpful in ordering food from nearby restaurants. The location is close to happo and it’s convenient with the shuttle service they provide.

Everyone at the lodge was incredibly friendly and helpful, they shuttled my friends and I around throughout our stay wherever we needed to go, helped recommend restaurants, provided a great breakfast, and the room was an incredible price. Would definitely stay here again!

Horrible staff attitude ”
I chose this place because of the 4.9 stars reviews and their so called “good and friendly service”, but left this place without experiencing what the other guests who left the reviews felt. It was mainly due to that one lady staff working at the lodge (I don’t know her name). When I first arrived at the lodge, I wanted some warm water. I saw some glass cups lined up on the shelves with a hot water dispenser. I politely asked the lady working there if I could drink it - she hesitated for a moment, gave me the exasperated look and waved her hands. Like what? If I cannot drink, just say no. Don’t need to give me such attitude. The day we were leaving was the worst. We extended our stay at Hakuba by a day, and we had to shift to another accommodation cause there wasn’t any vacant rooms in Mojo Lodge. We suggested to the manager that the van drop us at our new accommodation to let us deposit our luggage first (wait for us awhile), then send us to the ski slopes. This was so that they do not need to make two trips - one in the morning to send us to ski slopes, and another at 4pm plus to send us to the bus terminal (where our new accommodation is at). (I heard guests requesting the lodge to send them to the bus terminal on their day of check out, so we were not unreasonable for requesting for that lift to the bus terminal where our new accommodation is at.) The manager agreed to our suggestion, and the same lady who gave me the attitude on the first day drove us. Apart from our ski gear, we had 2 big luggage and 2 small luggage. No one helped us to load onto the van, which is fine - as we understand that different places have different culture. When we arrived at the new accommodation, we unloaded the luggage to deposit in the dry room that is at B1. Less than 10mins passed, that lady came out of the van with our skis and mentioned that she cannot wait anymore as she has another client. Six days in Hakuba for Spring Skiing were enjoyable and comfortable in Mojo Lodge. Souza, the manager on site, was courteous, helpful, and full of great local tips. Can’t recommend him or Mojo highly enough.

山歩きの前泊とするなら朝食なしで泊まることをお勧めします。朝食は8時からと遅いので。またエアコンはなしで、今回のような日本全国が熱波に覆われるような天気の時には、暑くて十分な睡眠が取れませんでした。風呂はシャワーだけです。
