The Selke valley railway is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and from here you can explore the extent of the Harz mountains. The hotel spa and leisure area conveys an impressive elegance with its panoramic glass structure. It houses the modern indoor swimming pool as well as various saunas, a solarium and gym and a relaxation area. There are 2 “micro” bowling alleys and a hairdresser as well as a cosmetic and massage studio for your convenience. Kindly note that the wellness center is currently under full renovation from January to the end of March.

One of our trip members was disabled and unable to get up star is with his walker. The rooms assigned to us where on the 84th floor. When we asked for a lower floor room there was not one available. T We had to take 1 lift to the 1st floor up then walk a long hallway to find out the lift to the 84th floor was broken. We returned back to the check in and got a room after all on the 7th floor. The key did not work and I had to return the 33rd Tim to the check in. No one was available. After waiting for a while, finally the same lady came and got upset because I had key problems. A technician was send to key the lock again and things worked out. WiFi was only available on the ground floor. Food was good but expensive. We had to order the $20 Buffett for only a sandwich. Rooms where ok for the price, so was the food. Place is way up in the mountains, no other hotel in the area signed was o
