Brilliant location, brilliant staff”
Loved our long weekend at the Moxy Hamburg City! The location is outstanding - less than a 10 min walk from Berliner Tor station which is on the direct line from the airport and an interchange station that most of the U-bahn and S-bahn lines go through. Was quick and easy to get everywhere. Our room was basic but clean and as it was down the side of the building, very quiet with trees and birdsong outside. The bar and restaurant area provides a lot of very varied seating options and the barman mixes a mean negroni! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. But the best thing was definitely the staff who were accommodating and friendly without fail - nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

Staff are excellent, everyone so friendly, professional and helpful. Eventhough they are always busy,check in, bar,food they do it all with a smile. Would have no hesitation in recommending or staying again. Hamburg a fabulous city and the hotel less than 10 minutes walk to train and 5 minutes in the centre, 2 stops .

Cool hotel, comfortable rooms”
Really cool hotel with large lobby to chill and great design features. Room itself was very comfortable: nice bed and sound proof windows. Alhough a proper closet instead of 4 hangers would have been useful. Area is not exciting but okay, only 5-10 minutes by e-scooter towards city centre and close to metro station.

A welcome twist with a difference to the typical hotel experience. Be prepared to receive a warm welcome and an uncluttered room that is perfectly styled. We arrived on a busy Easter weekend - the reception was at the bar!!! - first twist!!. The cocktails were a joy. Breakfast was full on due to a full house and of an adequate sufficiency. We would recommend this hotel even though a little out from the centre- it is within easy walking distance to Berliner Tol S Station -a station that would connect you to the airport if needed. Go for it - try the wild side for a change!

The hotel is near to public transport. It is convenient when you take public transport to explore the city. However there are not many restaurants nearby. The check-in process was smooth. Hotel and room look new. Bed and shower were really comfortable. Our first room had a faulty lamp, thankfully the staff immediately assigned us to another room. Cleanliness wise, unfortunately we found a cockroach running around in our room. The metal grill was dusty too.

Not fancy but decent stay”
There is a road construction next the hotel which annoying. You need to walk a little for the closest subway station. Rooms are clean but walls need a bit of painting. Stuff was quite nice and helpful.

Leider hat es zuwenig Ablage Möglichkeiten im Zimmer. Im Bad leider kein kleinen Spiegel für Kontaktlinsen Träger. Sitzgelegenheiten, außer dem Bett, fehlen. Positiv sehr nettes Personal und überragendes Frühstück.

Das Hotel moxy in der Nähe von der S-Bahn Berliner Hof ist zu Fuß in ca 6 Minuten gut zu erreichen. Von daher ist die Lage in Richtung Hauptbahnhof - Stadtmitte - Landungsbrücken ideal. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Einrichtungen im Hotel sehr gemütlich. Das Hotel ist neuwertig und die Zimmer in einem einwandfreiem Zustand. Einen halben Stern würde ich dennoch im Bereich Zimmer abziehen da kein Kleiderschrank sowie zu wenige Kleiderbügel vorhanden sind. Einen Safe gibt es nicht im Zimmer, nur im EG nähe Rezeption. Dennoch empfehlen wir das Hotel gerne weiter. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hotel war überfüllt, Frühstück mit anstehen, wir waren zu dritt und es gab keine 3.bettwäsche, kein 3 . Handtuch,kein 3. Zahnputzbecher..... Mussten wir uns einfordern..... Und selbst beziehen ...... Ansonsten alles aber top......
