"It was an excellent stay esp for those who prefer to be away from the crowd at grand canal. This hotel is located at an island call Murano. The ferry to main island of venice is right at the foot of the hotel(Museo ferry Station). Breakfast is alright. We get the best of Murano which is known for the top quality glass productions. Transportation aft 8pm to the hotel is a bit tricky so be sure to find out from the staff coz we end up walking in the silent street past midnight. Overall we enjoyed the stay in this hotel. They even provide us with a water taxi ride to the airport. Wonderful experience."

"Would definitaly stay here again, and would recommend it to enyone who wants to stay at Murano. I might even stay here if I go back to Venice as it was only a 20 min boatride or so from Venice city centre. There are public"ferryboats", Alilaguna, going around the clock to Venice city centre...we left from here to the Canareggio region and after 22.00 you could not get a connection boat meaning that you would have to take a walk from the main ferry station...but it is worth it...you get a lot more for the money here at Murano, and you get away from the hectic city centre. And you get to se all tre great glass at the glass island Murano. It is worth getting a one, three, five? day travel card with the Alilaguna when you are in Venice if you want to visit the wonderful island around and also just to get around on the main "island" of Venice. Discovering the Charm of Murano: Fun Facts and Reasons to Visit

Murano is a small island in the Venetian Lagoon, located just a few kilometers away from Venice, Italy. The island is known for its glassmaking industry, which has been a tradition since the 13th century. In fact, Murano glass is one of the most renowned handicrafts in the world. Visitors can witness the glassmaking process at various factories and workshops around the island. Aside from its glassmaking industry, Murano is also home to several historic buildings and landmarks. The Basilica di Santa Maria e San Donato, for instance, is a beautiful church that dates back to the 7th century. The church is famous for its mosaic floor, which is made up of thousands of colorful glass pieces. Another notable landmark is the Palazzo da Mula, a 14th-century palace that features Gothic architecture and a beautiful courtyard. But perhaps the biggest reason to visit Murano is its peaceful and laid-back atmosphere. Unlike the bustling streets of Venice, Murano offers a more relaxed and tranquil environment. Visitors can stroll along the island's canals and enjoy the charming scenery, or dine at one of the many waterfront restaurants.
