Fabulous room but breakfast, lunch and dinner were dissapointing”
We back for our fourth staycation we had at Myko, since we always had the best experience before pandemic. Unfortunately, we got dissapointed, especially at the dining. It’s hard to get a table to eat our lunch, dinner and breakfast, and often the food was unavailable. The table was not cleaned properly and we have to wait for a long time to get it cleaned. The water on the second day was a bit brownish, but the first day the water was clear. I don’t know if that only happened at that particular time. In overall, I hope Myko can pay attention to what the guests need.

The private jacuzzi is perfect but the restaurant needs a lot of improvement”
Myko hotel has the private jacuzzi in the Room which is perfect for relaxing. We got the promo from Agoda Rafly check in and late check out, but when we called, they refused us to check in early. Lunch, breakfast and dinner experience was unpleasant, we have to compete with lots of other guests for tables since they now only open one restaurant for all the guests. So the line is soo loong just to get a table. I hope they resolve this soon.

Nothing More Important Then Excellent Services”
Nothing Is More Important Than Excellent Service The location of this hotel is perfect! Because it is in the same area as Panakkukang Mall, that doesn't mean it's more comfortable. Hotel guests will wait more than 10 minutes just for the lift, and there are four, but only two are operating; one is for hotel staff only. So if you're planning to go out to eat or take a walk at the hotel, prepare yourself in advance: the lift will likely be full, and you could wait for two rounds, which is very uncomfortable, especially if you are with parents and children. I was handled by a very stingy receptionist who said, "I'm sorry" for any lack of information that was not provided regarding the complimentary lunch provided. I called twice before arriving at the hotel and asked when lunch would be served. They only said it would be from 12 to 5 pm, and there was never any information that the buffet would close at three the rest takeaway to the room. Misinformation makes consumers like being framed. The receptionist just said: it should have been conveyed; I said yes, I understand that it should be the responsibility of the hotel team, not me. Then he said that it was the general rule here. I was in shock; how could he possibly say that to me. You can't force hotel guests to understand the internal regulations while I was staying at this hotel for the first time. It didn't stop there; this receptionist, I asked the bellboy for help, but he didn't even ask where I put my stuff, and a moment later, he was serving guests behind me without closing my service and check-in process properly. He never even smiled at me throughout the service, which is taught in all tourism schools around the world and is fundamental in the hotel business: everyone knows about it. I stayed with my nephew, and I asked for extra soap the next day. Unfortunately, the hotel will not add bath soap that they already provide in a small bottle that is only enough for one adult bath. The room was weathered telling it's age. Was not the cleanest with dust and hair present on furniture and in the bed. The towels smelt strange, were well used and had rips. No menu or information booklet was in the room so had to call reception and they dictated what was on offer which was not much. Pool located in full view of dining patrons was a bit disconcerting. The only plus was the view which on 18th floor was great and the free parking. In summary, although cheap, would not stay again as we could not relax due to above. Issues. Wonder if the higher end suites are better maintained??

Food poisoning ”
I stayed with my parents and brother sister. All of us have a problem with the food. My brother and father vomit and got fever for 3 days. My sister, mom and I were have a stomach problem too.

Exceptional”
The breakfast was better than most, a selection of local fare all of what I tried was excellent and western/ international style ie. eggs cooked to order most anyway you like, breads of many types from crusty flaky to soft light and tender. Myko is a new hotel and the amenities are with luxury in mind, the bed and bathroom keep this idea. The hotel is working hard to build their reputation and it shows.

Lucury hotel in the heart of the city”
I book regular room for one night. I was lucky coz while we are check in at the hotel, they have a FREE LUNCH & DINNER promo without any additional charges. All of the room has jacussi and the view from the top is amazing. The weaknesses is you have to take your toiletries by yourself from the receptionist to your room, the pool is quite small, the gym is very tiny and there is no pajamas in the room. Beside of that, there is no tea/coffee maker. Thats all. However, my stay in Myko Hotel is very enjoyable. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing!! Thanks

Frustrating stay at the Myko. Won't be back here as there are better hotels in makassar. we were meant to stay there for 4 nights but ended up moving to another accom and glad that we did. our electricity supply keeps turning off and on every 10 mins, frustrating communication with the staff and lack of knowledge did not help. I.T was meant to come and fixed the room problems but no one ever showed up nor cared so not recommending Myko. lots of restaurants in the hotel but the ale-cart food was expensive and couldn't eat it. only good thing was the bed was comfortable

we really love staying at this hotel. we got the 3x all you can eat meal for couple at their 3 choices of restaurant, seafood, japanese/chinese, or regular cafe. we tried all of them and the food was great! the jacuzzi in the bathroom was amazing. very relaxing.

A stand out hotel”
This is a good hotel with sufficient facilities that keep you refreshed during your trip. It is close to a shopping centre thus making it valuable for family. However, the staffs seem not experienced enough to handle the guests most probably due to its new existence (it's about 6 months old when we visit). Room is spacious enough although some door handles are not fitted properly.

I booked with agoda & got complimentary breakfast, lunch & dinner throughout the stay. The foods were awesome & have lots of choices. I really like the complimentary coffee where I got 2 cups coffee of my choices everyday. Stay with 1yo & 5yo kids was really great experience here. They were running here & there all the time. The staff were friendly. Very close to shopping mall where we did a last minute shopping. Few steps to cinema! Great valet parking service! DEFINITELY WILL STAY HERE AGAIN NEXT TIME. Highly recommend!
