I love this hotel very much especially compared the previous hotel just next door. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Helping from Car Parking to walk you along to the room. Luggage hand-free! The hot-spring area is superb, can tell the hotel has put afford to make the environment truly merge in to the nature. Love it so much. Highly recommend this to my friends

Old and far from Takayama”
The room size is nice and the futon bed comfortable. It was not very convenient with the baby car because of the many stairs in the hotel and no elevator. Be aware that the public spa at the hotel is open from 3pm all though the night but closes at 9am. The private spa is closes at 9pm. This was dificult to figure out as it was hard to comunicate with the staff. They spoke very few english and indications are only in japanese. The little spa village is one hour bus ride from Takayama which was not very convenient either, but the bus ride is beautyful.

甩轆館 Out of contral hotel”
位置於平湯溫泉，高山駅與上高地的中間接駁處，所有交通均需要經平湯轉車，由於前一日是住上高地大正酒店，簡直是天與地分別；位置在平湯車站附近行5分鐘左右，每房客人可享有半小時私人風呂，是一個室外池，但衛生程度十分可怕，去過日本超過25次，浸溫泉也超過40次，第一次遇到池底全部滑潺潺質感，像長滿青苔的微生物般質地，另有些微生物在池中飄浮，之後看見池底有些軟泥／糞便的東西？我們4人浸不到3分鐘便立即離開，及後去了大浴場還好一點；另一方面就是晚餐在宴會廳進食，女將年紀有70多歲，明白不能聽英語，遊客溝通通常靠身體語言或簡單日語，跟女將說簡單日語，她會以一連串長日語回應或反問，其中大家溝通不了以致菜單／點飲料等等出現問題，女將要多次召喚廚房的年青人出來與我們溝通，但即使年青師傅跟女將用日語溝通好了，女將仍然是斟錯飲品數量來，年青師傅也無語對著女將了，後來年青師傅也自顧不暇，女將繼續我行我素，還大聲跟其他日本遊客說日語：我完全唔明白佢哋（指我們）講乜！最後，房間衛生也欠佳，厠所浴缸（未使用）有毛髮，設施陳舊，雪櫃是傳聞已久但未見真身的彈匣式內置裝置，聽說是70-80年代風行的酒店雪櫃，取出支裝飲品時彈匣會自動彈出，酒店便用來計算客人取出飲品的數量，當然這裡雪櫃沒有飲品在內，但架內全部是黑點點污漬，最後，服務質素及設施比到2星，是因為前台及宴會廳只有兩位年青男生能說英語，老實說，整館設施、衛生、服務人員年紀及態度都停留在30多40年前，完全沒有進化到現代，我知道中村館（即這裡名稱高山酒店）在各大酒店網平台經常下廣告，只能評價給各位遊客不要中伏，整體甚至影響我對整區平湯溫泉的觀感，未必再訪此區。

走廊煙味很重，以致房間都可以聞到； 客房燈光暗； 無煮水器，泡麵不方便。 唯一一樣可以補足的是溫泉， 有室內和戶外，很舒服，尤其是室外， 但溫泉有限制時間，所以只能晚上泡一次，早上無法再泡，很可惜。
