Overall I really liked the hotel, it was super large compared to other Japanese hotels, the beds were nice, shower was nice, even the view from our room was not too bad, everything was okay but just one thing, one lady at the front desk was the most unfriendly staff I've ever seen in Japan so far. It's too bad I was in a hurry and so couldn't get her name but I hope she remembers me if she reads this. I needed to use the hotel's phone to call a Japanese number which I couldn't do on my phone, so I asked if I can do that and I'm pretty sure she understood what I was saying because she spoke English, but she was like pointing at my phone saying 'use your phone' so I thought maybe she misunderstood me so I said it again, but only after I said that so many times, she handed me over the phone. I was especially disappointed in her manners because I've worked at a hotel's front desk before and I'm pretty sure there's a lot of tourists asking if they can use the hotel's phone. I probably wasn't her first guest to ask for that kind of serivce. And overall she never really smiled or provided a nice service upon our conversation. In comparison to her, after I checked out of the hotel I noticed I left my portable charger in the room so I had to go back to the front desk and ask if there were any missing items found in my room, and the lady there was super nice and fast in solving my problem. It only took her a few minutes in finding my charger, I thank her so much for that. Regardless of these incidents though, it was a perfect hotel to stay in Osaka.

Awesome location”
Once you go downstairs, you are in the heart of the town centre! Cinema just opposite the hotel. Kuromon market and dotonbori all within walking distance. Clean and quiet , comfortable for staying. The only difficuly part is finding my way there from Namba station. I walked through Takashimaya exit and straight into the shopping street. It was hard because I did not believe this hotel was right in the centre of the shopping street haha! Anyway, definitely my go - to hotel for future Osaka stays.

EXCELLENT HOTEL”
This is my first time to Osaka and this Hotel is perfect because : 1. Direct access from KIX via just 1 train 2. Right above a shopping centre with all amenities 3. Directly above the Subway station, easy access to anywhere and everywhere 4. Lawsons and McDonalds right at Hotel doorstep, its too convenient 5. Ramen restraurants, sushi restraurants, you name it, its at the doorstep of the hotel too 6. a huge BIC is 1 minute away 7. Shinsaibashi Shopping is connected via the underpass, 5 mins away 8. We stayed in a corner family room that was so huge it house 5 adults, complete with all amenities. Need I say more?? In conclusion, this Hotel is perfect.

We had a wonderful experience here at Namba Oriental Hotel, it was simply relaxing, bed was comfortable, the water fountain is lovely and we could access it as well. We were able to wash and dry our clothes with ease and there were so many nice food around the hotel to eat. We will definitely come back here the next time again.

Perfect Location and Service”
Location: The hotel locates in the center of Dōtonbori. it is in the center of Namba Station, Metro stations of Namba and Kintetsu-Nippombashi. it is 5 mins walk from Kuromon Ichiba Market. There are restaurants surounding the hotels. You will definitely from a place to eat (but it may be too difficult to choose which to go) Room: the room is very big (in Japan standard) . it is an old hotel but maintenace is very good. water pressuer is not an issue and install hot water is provided when bathing/showering. Nice toilet too LOL Servie: Staff provides excelent service. They assisted me to ship my luggage from Osaka to Tokyo. I simply dropped my luggage in the concierge and staff will fill in the shipping slip and collect the fee (I don't have to wait for the yomato staff). Conclusion: I would highly recommend this hotel to all kind of visitors.

This can be counted as the best hotel I have ever stayed in for an overseas vacation! I certainly did not expect such a pleasant stay when I booked the hotel at a very reasonable price. The location is absolutely outstanding as it is right next to Namba station and a short walk to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and Kuromon market, which makes eating and shopping a totally convenient. The hotel is also in a hotspot of eateries that operate late into the night l, so supper is totally possible

As for the first timer that travelling to Osaka. Would recommend to stayed on this hotel. For those that took Nankai Express Train, once you exits it easy to find the hotel. Just follow the sign board or you can even see YouTube for your reference (that’s what I did) hahah ! Secondly, the environment is crazy with food, shops and also dessert ! A lot of Retail shops that sell affordable prices (eg: Nike, Adidas, Onitsuka Tiger etc) ! It so convenient as it not far apart from Dontonburi etc. Really nice place to stay. And for people who smoke, you can actually exit the hotel at the side of the hotel they do provide smoking room. Staffs is friendly ! Place is clean ! Really recommending this place !! Easy to find subway trains if you heading to Tokyo.

Location was absolutely perfect. - Easily accessible through the Nankai Express and the subway system. - Food available within and right outside the hotel, fitting every budget from Lawsons to Mcdonald’s to conveyor belt sushi to Kobe beef. - Steps away from Takashimaya, Namba City, and Don Quijote (hehe). - Staff were very friendly and efficient, from front desk, to housekeeping, to the people who attended during breakfast. - Rooms were big, and amenities were well thought of. There was even pocket wifi (which we didn’t use because we had sim cards). Great hotel, especially when traveling with older parents who hate walking hehe. Will gladly recommend to everyone traveling to Osaka.. I already did 😊
