Find hotels near Namba in Osaka, Japan

You can't find a hotel in Namba with a better location...with shopping and restaurants out your door and Namba Station only 5 minutes walk and mostly covered. The staff are very helpful and friendly, from the managers, clerks, housekeepers and restaurant workers. The breakfast is very good, although after staying there for one week, would be nice to have a little changes. Also would be good if they offered one english speaking tv station with news. We were there during typhoon Jebi and could not fully understand what was going on. But, all in all, we enjoyed it there and would certainly return there on our next trip to Osaka.

We loved our stay at Onyado Nono Namba hotel. The location is ideal, steps away from Dotonbori and all the food options, and very close to the Nippombashi Station for easy access to the rest of Osaka. The family room was plenty of space for our family of four, which is hard to find in Japan. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire facility is very clean. The spa was quite nice, and I used it twice during our 2 night stay. The Japanese and Western breakfast was excellent, as was the late night ramen! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Osaka.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS HOTEL WITH SOTETSU FRESA OSAKA NAMBA HOTEL. This hotel is SOTETSU GRAND FRESA OSAKA NAMBA. We did and went in circles trying to find it. This hotel was right by Dotonbori, major tourist area. I would have preferred a hotel in a more central non-touristy location. Close to train station. This hotel is very big and a lot of business people stay here. Hotel provides extra travel size packets of facial products. Facilities was good. We did our laundry here, which was very convenient. Staff was nice and helpful. Many eating options in the area.

We arrived early in the evening from Manila to Osaka. We took the Kansai airport train to Namba station. In Namba station, we went straight to the tourist center and they gave us a "Namba Area" map, which lead us to the exit of IL Coure Namba Hotel (North exit). From there, we did not have any problems looking for the Hotel. We also did had no problems with the late check in. The room we got was with 2 single beds. It was a good sized room for Japan standards. Plus, it was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a very pleasant stay! IL Coure Namba is in a quiet area but close enough to the Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi area where all the action is! I will definitely stay here when I visit Osaka again!

location is excellent for shopping, dining, subway and train. there is direct airport limousine bus to osaka city air terminal (ocat) for those with heavy luggages. ocat to hotel is just a couple of minutes walk within ocat building to hotel, but easier to navigate to hotel is exit ocat building, turn right at the road, then turn right again at the road junction, and hotel is right there. reception is at 22nd floor. breakfast and meals are readily available at the jr namba station, nankai namba station, namba walk vicinity. for late night birds, there is convenience shop opposite ocat. for early risers, breakfast cafes are not open till about 10am, so we bought breakfast the prior night from the large supermarket next to ocat. there is no hotel self-service laundry, although a laundry shop is at the basement of ocat. it was wonderful to have free wifi in the convenience of the rooms. anyway we came prepared with a portable wifi access point in case it was needed if the hotel only provided lan access point. rooms were small as we realise most japanese hotel rooms are. for a family of 4 we needed 2 double rooms, and if not for a special promo price, this hotel will be too pricey for us at its regular price of about usd 200 per night. the double beds were a squeeze for a parent and an older teenage child, and if price were not any objection, a twin room will be better. we used namba station as the launch pad for our trips to nearby kyoto, nara,and kobe. train travel is so amazingly efficient in japan and we could get to any place that a tourist would want using the subway, and trains. there are different types of train passes that can be bought at the namba nankai station or the osaka jr station for those making multiple trips within a short time. we were impressed by the honesty of the ticket customer service who advised us frankly that it was not worth buying the passes if we do not make so many trips a day.

The hotel is near to Namba station. Walkable distance to namba station and Shinsaibashi, so you can hang around till very late without worrying the last train. I was staying in the corner twin with my friend. The room was big, about 23m2. We still got a lot of walking space after we opened our two big luggages. The room was very clean, and most importantly, the toilet, the washing basin and the bathtub/shower are all separate, that means we can best utilize our time, like I can brush my teeth when my friend is taking the bath. (the washing basin is very big, good for girls!) The hotel staff are very helpful, we almost asked them to book restaurants for us every night and they never showed annoyance. Complimentary drinks is also a bonus! Highly recommended, especially for those of you who need a big room and a comfy stay! No doubt I will stay there again when I visit Osaka!

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel is newly refurbished. It is in very good condition. Room size is small compared to other country although it os considered a large compared to other business hotels I used to stay in Japan. Location is excellent especially when you travel from/to Kansai airport. There is a direct train from the airport to Nankai Namba station (45mins). At the Nankai Namba, take the east exit (quite difficult to find the East exit, down escalator and turn around toward shopping mall). At the East exit, turn right and walk along the street until you see the traffic light and tuen left again. Walk along the street until you see the second traffic light and then turn right. The hotel is about 100 away. It takes approx. 5 mins walk from the train station. Also, the hotel is easy to walk to Dontonbori as well. Breakfast is not the best but it's more than our expectation (to what we pay for the room price). There are rice, Japanese curry, miso soup, fish, omelette, bread and so on. Staff are very kind and helpful. Overall, I think this is a highly recommended hotel to everyone. I would definitely back here again when I visit Osaka next time.

The room size is bigger then normal Japan Hotel with the same value of money. Toilet really big with a bath tub & shower area. They provided shampoo, conditional, bath soap & even a facial form...and also facial cleansing cream & lotion as well. 5mins walk to Dotonburi & Namba. 5-7mins walk to Osaka bus station. 7mins walk to Namba Nankai Station. Family Mart is just opposite the hotel. A 药妆店 is located at the corner of the hotel. The only shortage of is the sleeping room kind of too dark with 3 nos of ceiling downlight only. Overall it is still good value for money with best location & room size with facilities. :)

There are alot of 3-4 Star Hotels in Namba but for me APA Hotel Namba-Eki Higashi is the best. It is located just a few hundred meters away from the train station. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the food they offer are amazing. The breakfast food they offer for free is also great. The facilities are great and the staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel rate is also very affordable. This is only my first time stay here (I stayed in other hotel nearby before) but because of the great experience, I will surely be coming back.

I spent 6 nights in Osaka and Kyoto for my vacation with my family and regret that I stayed only one night at the Swissotel. However, my experience at the hotel was by far the best among hotels of similar ranking in Osaka and Kyoto. Hotel was conveniently located with easy access to subway and train stations. Staff were attentive and helpful. We didn't have to touch our luggage after check-in and they were promptly delivered to our room. The answers we received when asking questions were useful and in sufficient details while the staff seemed to be willing to answer all questions. Our experience with other hotel staff were much less satisfactory both in terms of English proficiency and their attentiveness. In-room free wifi was also available. I would highly recommend Swissotel Nankai Osaka to anyone who are still hesitant to book a hotel in Namba or Shinsaibashi.

So it was my first trip to Japan and I found this hotel to be the best priced for the location. When I arrived, I was surprised as to how close it was from JR Namba station and Sakuragawa station. JR Namba was a maximum of a 10 minute walk (slow) and Sakuragawa was also approximately the same. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to Dotonbori street or if you're lazy, you could take a train from Namba station (about 12 mins) to Shinsabashi station (another night street adjacent to Dotonburi). What I loved about the hotel was that area of town is quiet, and walking 15 minutes to Dotonburi you could actually feel two different vibes, quiet near the hotel and energetic near the street. Now the rooms: The rooms ARE SMALL. With that in mind, me and my girlfriend were fine with it as the space was mostly functional. The toilet was superbly well equipped with shampoo/conditioners/shower gels/hair dryer/shaver/shaving cream and even an air purifier! Front desk was also super friendly and helpful!

We stayed in a double with breakfast. The first thing we noticed was how great the hotel lobby was. Looked very high class and professional. A lot can be said about a hotel just by its lobby and this was impressive. The room was spacious for Japan, had a massive (42 or 46") wall mounted TV. Room was tidy and you have the option of choosing Economy cleaning where they don't wash the bedsheets everyday (which would be wasteful), and you get free bottles of water if you select this option. The location is great! Only about 10mins walk to Den Den Town (Anime-central of Osaka) and about 15mins to Namba (major shopping area). It's also about a 5min walk to Daikukocho station, which is on the main north-south subway covering major stops such as Shinsaibashi, Namba, Umeda and Shin-Osaka. The breakfast was the best and most surprising part of the hotel. It's a full buffet, with a Japanese/Western mix. Foods include bacon, eggs, beans, salads, takoyaki, udon noodles, japanese curry rice, japanese fried chicken, toast, croissants, cereals, tea/coffee, variety of juices, and a few desserts as well. It's amazing. Overall a great hotel, definitely feels more like 4-4.5 stars than 3. Would recommend to anyone.

The hotel was suitably located within walking distances to the main subway stations (Namba Station [3 min walk] and Nippombashi Station [7 min walk]) and to the main tourist attractions (Kuromon Ichiba Market [3 min walk], Namba City [3 min walk], Dotonbori [10 min walk], Shinsekai [15 min walk], Nambayasaka Shrine [10 min walk]). The room was really clean and considered spacious as compared to the other hotels that I've stayed in other Japan cities. It was great that the hotel do make an effort to prepare simple breakfast (croissants, bread, banana, coffee, tea) for their guests. Overall, a pleasant stay in Red Roof Inn & Suites Osaka Namba Nippombashi. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family who will be traveling to Osaka.

This is literally next to Namba Yasaka Shrine which most people don't come here for. It is in the middle of Osaka most famous shopping district "Horie" and Shinsekai, both of which are highly recommended for travellers. Also, it is about a 5-mins walk to the nearest supermarket "Life", where you can buy most stuffs. Look out for discounts at night since this is also where I used to buy my dinner from. Location wise, It is a 5-mins walk to Namba and 15-mins walk to Shin-Imamiya (I usually walk to Shin-Imamiya since there are a lot lesser people in this area). Room itself is typical of a Japanese business hotel room which I am also very used to so no complains about it. Do not expect a huge room for the price you pay since this is a business hotel concept. Everything is clean and well-stocked. Staffs are great since they make conversations with you too and they are really friendly!

Before go, we check this hotel is ranked No.1 in Osaka hotels in tripadvisor with relative cheap price. We booked in agoda. During the checkin, the hotel staff recommend us to add another 3000yen to promote from 18m2 apt to a 44m2 apt. We accepted. Overall we stayed 5 hotels in japanese trip, this hotel is absolutely the best. Including the price, the staff, the service, the room and the location,everything. From Nankai namba station which is just across the road, it is easy to reach the kansai airport. With 5 min walking distance, it is easy to reach underground namba station. We bought a kansai two days pass in hotel frontdesk and use it to visit nara, kyoto, kobe and Arima Onsen hot spring.Absolutedly perfect! My wife asked for two bottles of water, the staff said OK via the phone and send to our room after 3 min and explained in fact, the bottle water was not included in the service. But since we don't know, they still send us as a service. Very friendly indeed!

Stay for 2nights. The hotel have help us to combine twin bed into a double bed, very helpful staff. Room is big, clean and new hotel. Location is near to metro Nipponbashi line exit6 and Kitentsu Nipponbashi. You can go to Kyoto with Kitentsu Nipponbasho station. Walking distance to Kuromon market, namba street, shinshabashi and dotonbori. Two 711 with tax free available outside the street. I will definately stay to this hotel if I return to Osaka.

The hotel is close to most foodtripping spots such as namba, dotonbori and Shinsekai sohonten. Staffs were very accommodating and most of them can understand English. Our room was a small ryokan but it was clean. Their guides were translated very well in English. The most impressive part was they have a smartphone placed in your room that you can take out. You can use its data to check the internet, post photos on your social media accounts and call other rooms of the hotel. It became a hassle free travel for us.

Is more like service apartment just beside Nipponbashi station and near walking distance to the famous Glico Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Namba station etc. The 1 bedroom is big enough for a family of 4, with kitchen cooking utilities and room cleaning if stay 4 days or more......we stayed 10 days so we have 2 cleaning session. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, also there's pocket wifi for us to bring out so the kids can connect to free wifi to watch their youtube channels.....and the in room is also super fast. Will sure come back to stay again when we're in Osaka!! Thank you.

Nerarel Hostel Namba is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed. It is very accessible because it's located near to Namba station and both Kuromon Market and Shinsaibashi are within walking distance. Staff are really nice! The facilities it provides, e.g. shower and toilet, are clean. I was surprised that it also provides cleansing oil and cleaning foam for guests and we can even borrow hair iron from the reception! Highly recommended!

Nice hotel which is very new and well maintained. Very clean and comfortable interior with spacious rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They also speak English quite well and are able to converse in English, giving recommendations and suggestions. Thumbs up! There are a few convenience stores (Lawson and Family mart) nearby, within 2 minutes walk if you need anything urgently. There are some small food stalls nearby as well, but otherwise, you'd be better off taking a short train ride to Namba or Tennoji where there's much more variety. It is near Shinimamiya station (Nankai and JR line) as well as near Donbutsuen-mae station. This makes it very convenient to travel around the area with many options available. Shinsekai/Dontonburi are within 10 minutes train ride from the station and easily reached for shopping and dinning pleasures. Also, there are many direct options to get to the airport from the hotel via train, either Nankai or JR line.

If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in Osaka, Asiato is a great choice! The hotel is location right at one of the entrances of the famous Kuromon Ichiba Market, so if you are ever hungry, all the food is right at your doorstep, literally. If you are on a short trip to Osaka and have to get in and out of the airport but still want to explore Osaka city, this is great as it is just a 5 minute walk away from the Namba station that brings you straight to the Kansai International Airport. It is also within walking distance to Namba and Dotonbori. The room was comfortable, clean and comes with the basic necessities. The toilet was rather small and had a constant smell, but that didn't bother me much.

Only around 5 minutes walk from Namba station and Dotonburi. I can't ask for more. what I need already there. Need to go anywhere in Osaka, every stairs to subway is only 2-3 minutes walk. looking for food? Namba area have plenty. I even get a chance to ate at Enya. Found it from google that Enya is one of the best yakitori place in Namba, and it is. Walk another 3 minutes, you will be at Dotonburi. More and more food at Dotonburi. Don't forget to take pic at Glico man LED billboard. Khaosan World Namba itself comfy enough for me. My mistake only, I reserve the 12 person mix dorm, I'm a bit loud usually when I deal with my stuff like luggage and bag. But the rest...nothing to complaint. The staff is nice and helpful. The girl with long blonde hair (sorry I forgot your name), really help me when I ask for food recommendation around Namba. They have elevator, so no worries with your big/heavy luggage. Other facilities like wifi and sitting area are provided. just in case you need to work (during your holiday). Love from Jakarta, Indonesia.

It was excellent. Room is spacious and clean. We placed a "DND" sign on the door knob but we still get our towel and bathrobe changed daily. The service staff just hung it outside our room. I would highly recommend this hotel to those budget travelers. 15 mins walk to Shinsaibashi. Near to Namba station (Around 5 mins walk). If you landed in Kansai airport, you can travel straight away from Kansai to Namba without needed to change train. Super convenient especially when you have a lot of luggage on your last day when you are heading back to the airport.

We stayed 3 nights in Osaka. The room was very spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan. The shower/bath room was also very spacious as the bathtub and shower were two separate units. The hotel was conveniently located a few blocks, within walking distance, from Dotonburi. We did not do laundry at this hotel, but I believe there is laundry service. There is also a coin laundry across the street. My only complaint is that the bedding and sheets felt a little dry. Also the hotel entrance is off a small road that can look a little shady at night; however, we did not run into any trouble.

The location of this hotel is superb. It is located above the Namba subway station. The best and cheapest way to get there from Kansai Airport is to take the Nankai Line. The regular express train is fine, it is like a normal subway train in terms of comfort. If you're tired after your flight, consider paying a little more for the express Rapit train - the seats are more comfortable for napping. I do not recommend taking the JR line from Kansai Airport. It usually takes longer, and costs more. From Namba station (Nankai line), it's a short walk underground to Midosuji line. Take exit 13 and you will come right to the elevator. Take it to the 4th floor reception. The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from the ever popular Dotonbori. It is nearer to Ebisubashi, which you can walk through on the way to Dotonbori. Shinsaibashi is on the other side. The cabins are comfortable, and more spacious than the business class cabins at First Class Akihabara. There is space to put your luggage. Note that there are no locks on the sliding doors to individual cabins. Overall, I found this hotel to be even more peaceful than the Akihabara branch. It was well-occupied, but I was never once roused from sleep by a noisy neighbour.

Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Namba station subway and nankai station. It is a 5 min walk from Namba subway station and about 10min walk from Namba nankai station. There are plenty of food options and convenience store around the hotel. Room and toilet size is pretty small but still had space to open up 2 big luggages. Hotel serves free ramen and beer every night around 1030pm. We tried on our first night and thought it’s good for those who are hungry at night. Overall, a pleasant stay and won’t mind coming back again.

Pros: -Hotel location is very near Namba Nankai Station and Osaka Metro Namba Station -Walking distance to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market -There's also a nearby Kohyo Supermarket (maybe 10-15 minutes walk), 2 Family Marts, and a nearby bus stop Cons: -Upon arrival there is no staff to assist, only check in via an iPad. But because we had problems with the iPad so a staff came to help us check in. -Small room - booked a Twin Room but it was cozy. Room can fit 2 medium sized luggage + 1 small hand carry luggage, has a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, bathtub and toilet, toiletries and towels, slippers too. -No luggage storage area - but you can store it at their other branch or go to Namba Hands Free Center (2 blocks away only from the hotel) or use the coin lockers.
