The lobby is big and nice. Hotel located nearby convenient stores and few meters from the clock tower. For those who brought bags, please use underground walkaway exit 22 besides the clock tower (have elevator) instead of exit 22 from Jr Sapporo station (have no elevator, with 6 levels of stairs). You just have to walk more heading to susukino station, and the elevator exit 22 is in your left. I love the room which i think is quite bigger than other hotel. The only thing is, you have to get your own mineral water at nearby stores as it is not provided by the hotel. For me the price is reasonable with the facilities. We got few souvenirs as we skipped the room cleaning for few days. I like the idea. Overall, pleasant stay and very easy check out.

Loving this place since it's so strategic! ”
I love this place since the rooms are quite big (for Japanese size), the breakfast buffet were delicious, and the location was perfect since it's located in very close to Odori Park and Sapporo Tower. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, even though they're still struggling speaking in English. But overall, it's a great place to stay!

We booked a premium room and it’s huge!! The TV is huge too! Room is clean and nice. However, hotel is still quite a walking distance from Sapporo station. Very hard to get there by foot during heavy snow with luggage.

Great location and good room size!”
Managed to get the last comfort double bed room at last minute, good room size compare to other similar hotel. Location is perfect in between the Sapporo Station and Sapporo TV Tower, accessible easily via many nearby underground street exit and restaurants. Stayed for 4 night. Good location close to subway. Room big for japan standard. Can put 2 big luaggages and still have room to move around. toiletries provided and bathroom is of good size. Bed and pillow very comfortable.

A heavily discounted price made this hotel excellent value for money. It has a convenient location only 15 minutes walk to Sapporo JR Station and 10 minutes walk to Factory shopping complex and IMAX Theatre. The room had been recently refurbished and was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had parking downstairs. We have stayed here before and will stay here again

If you are looking for a hotel close to the train station, go book this hotel. the facilities are quite dated. the rooms as well. however, if you are looking for a convenient hotel close to Odori, Bus Station, JR Station, this is one of the good option you want to consider. the bed is quite hard, beddings are a bit old but clean.

Location was good. A lot of hotels around so even though airport limousines do not stop directly at this hotel, other stops are near. room size is relatively big in town. comfy even with luggages opened. but hotel room is not so clean. Our bed runner was very dirty with stains and there were snack crumbs on the carpet.

This hotel has good location, around 10mins walk from Sapporo station. Room can fit 3 pax or a young family of 4. Looks a little old, but all is well. Toilet music can be adjusted.

Pros: Good location, relatively close to Sapporo main station. Quite good rates. Cons: Wife bitten by (bed?) bugs in the pillow!! Front desk staff not very welcoming (compared w their more enthusiastic neighbours), this seems like quite an old hotel, that needs an overhaul

Ideal location for business and leisure”
The room prices are quite reasonable for the great location (very close to Sapporo Station), the room cleanliness, and the polite staff. I enjoyed both the casual and easy atmosphere as a budget business hotel and the politeness as a part of the New Otani hotel group (by the way, the original New Otani is a prestigious hotel located in the center of Tokyo). Highly recommendable either for a business trip or leisure trip.

Comfort, Clean and Affordable.”
The stay in New Otani is really very enjoyable. We have free wi-fi and the staff are friendly and thoughtful. They have one particular manager that speaks English well, other than that, their staff speaks little English, but enough to communicate with them. The rooms though are small and a bit cramp, but they are clean always, and free from the cigrettes smell. Bed are comfortable, but thought the pillow can be a bit better, but enough to have a good sleep. The location is really fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the Sapporo station and public transport is easily access to. If you drove, the carpark is really cheap (1500 yen per day, inform the staff you are driving) as compared to other location. There are nearby 24hrs convinent stores and many nearby restaurant and shopping centres.

Really Great Location”
The hotel had mixed reviews and many previous customers had complained about some points - so we were rather skeptical. However, the overall experience at this hotel was very positive. We visited during the peak of the annual Sapporo Snow Festival and still they managed to create a smooth experience despite a fully booked hotel. (1) Staff was very friendly and attentive. This applied to check-in, restaurants, luggage storage, etc. (2) The breakfast queue (to get a seat) moved fast and buffet was restocked very quickly. The selection and quality of the food was very good. (3) Our room was really clean, new, modern and like on the photos. One has to note, we booked one of the "premium rooms" which was located at the top floor. According to the (Japanese) web site, there are different rooms. The premium rooms seem to be newly renovated. (4) The location was really great as it is in the heart of the city center. Short walking distance to both, Odori Station and Sapporo Station.
