Not worse the money”
The only good thing is the location which was 5 minutes walk from Catalonia square. The stuff was very unpleasant, the breakfast is very basic We stayed there for 5 days and our room cleaned only once. They told us to hang a sign on the door when we want to ask for cleaning but no one really came. The pool that on the roof is nice but small and there is not enough beds so if you didn't came early morning you won't have bed.

Great Location for tourist”
The hotel is located just a short walk from the Catalunya or Passig de Gracia metro stations and Las Ramblas. The Passig de Gracia station is great for those flying in to Barcelona as the local RENFE train can get to to this station in 25 mintutes for the cost of one metro ride (get the 10 ride pass and it will oly cost $1.25 for the rie and use the pass for the rest of your stay!). Avoid the expense of a taxi which can be about $50 from airport. Breakfast is 30 euro if not included with your room charge. Wide variety of food. Nice 11th floor bar and view of the city. Pool also at this level. Rooms large, clean and modern and consierge staff very helpful. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Hotel with excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff”
We arrived at the hotel at 10am in the morning due to our early flight. The hotel staff took care of our luggage and by 12 noon, we were allocated a room very promptly. The fact that Casa Battlo and the Catalunya Square was within walking distance was a great advantage as we saved alot on public transport. I will definitely stay in the same hotel again if I am back in Barcelona!

Wonderful location within walking distance of many sites. Helpful staff. Guest Relations answered all our questions about the city. Clean and nice size rooms for a European hotel. Our room had a premium terrace and we could see Sagrat Cor. Great value. Will recommend to friends traveling to Barcelona.

Pleasant stay”
Nice and simple hotel. However there could be more to improve, our check in was done much earlier and was told to come back after 3pm just to collect the key card. But when returning, the check in process was not done, and we have to spend another 15mins for that. Coordination between front desk and luggage store was not smooth. The guy from luggage store cant locate our luggage, was abit of panic there as we thought it was lost. But after we collected the room key, was then told by the reception that our luggage have already been send to our room! Requested for adjoining room, was told at lobby that room assigned are adjoining. But it wasnt!

Unengaged staff and hitel under renovation”
The hotel is under renovation. Had not been informed of this and had I known, i would have chosen another hotel. I think it is irresponsible ald also quite rude, not to inform your guest about this. The hotel reception is small with four chairs, and there is no air condition at all. It is July in Barcelona and it is HOT. Staff is unengaged and no greeting happen before I ask to check in ( there are two other people by the reception area). The staff is more interested in what's happening by one elevator ( I later found out that a guest dropped her/his key down the shaft) then making guest feel welcomed. The renovation is going on on the top floors so we get a room on the fifth. Rooms are nice and air conditioned. The fridge is only a mini-bar and "locked" and we can therefore not stor our own water, milk or wine. I also thought that a water boiler, together with teas, coffee, milk and sugar, is standard in most hotels these days but not here. Major dissapointment for me. The staff is not frienly, and at some instances even obstinate. And that REALLY destroys the feeling you want on a vacation. The small pool area was really nice and offers up spectacular views of Barcelona. There were always plenty of pool towels ready for the guests to use. Note to hotel - you might want to fix the pool ladder, feels like it will come completely loose any second. Location is great. But with so many hotels around this, I would choose a less dishonest and more friendly hotel if I were you. Which I will do next time - because BARCELONA IS FANTASTIC!

Very pleasent stay ”
On arrival reception couldn't find our booking which we booked through Agoda but they sorted it out very quickly and we got early check-in at 12pm normally check-in is 3pm. The hotel is quite new so the bed room is big and comfortable with big bathroom and very clean. The next morning we went for breakfast we were surprised as the food is very tasty just everything you need before you go out for the day. The location is very central to shopping area, buses and metro. Over all I will be back again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Good location but small rooms and limited service”
Rooms are clean but a bit dark and small. The location was the best part of the hotel, just a block to Placa Catalunya located on the street where all the restaurants are located. Staff spoke OK English but not great. Had better hotels in Barcelona

The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of major sites. We didn’t take a taxi once. The staff, especially Kevin (our bellhop) made us feel very welcome rushing to open a door for us or to see that we had everything we needed. The property is bright, modern and deluxe. We loved how there was a display of chocolates during Easter for the guests or a special bread and edible roses on St. George’s Day. All in all, it’s a 5 star property! We were very happy!

even if you hang around at night in the bar, you can't take taxi to go back to the hotel. you can walk to the hotel and it's not dangerous area. the hotel staff is so kind and nice so you can relax.

Receptionist has bad attitude and room service is bad.”
Firstly, when we were there to check in the receptionist was not accommodating with snobbish attitude. Secondly, No dental kit provided! For a 5 star hotel i would expect to have at least dental kit (ie toothbrush and toothpaste) ready in the toilet. As usual, when i head to the counter to ask for the toothbrush was given an attitude. Thirdly, No housekeeping! Disappointing especially coming back after a long day of hiking and expect the room to be neat and tidy. When I head to the reception to tell them about it, they did not admit their mistake and claimed that the "No disturb" sign was hanging on the door knob which we literally did not touch it and the sign was in the room all along. Had to head out for an hour just to let them clean my room. My advise: Don't bother to book for NH as this will be my last (other country NH as well). Stayed in 2 other hotels in Barcelona which is way better and cheaper.

Excellent location, fast service”
Check in/out was fast, breakfast selection was good. Location was excellent with plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was small but enough for 2 people. you can hear quite a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms so that was rather distracting but otherwise the bed was comfortable and temperature in the room was well regulated.

Exceptional”
Everything..location was perfect..staff were amazing..breakfast was really really good yet 30 euros is a bit too much for breakfast. So taking booking.com package of breakfast included is the right thing to do instead of spending 30 euros per night. Rooftop is extremely relaxing and you would need that kind of place to take a siesta. The room was really nice and spacious. I would definetly stay there again.”
