If you’re staying in Kyoto this is the hotel you want to stay at. Where to start? First off, the location is centrally located. Within 10 mins of Yasaka Pagoda, Gion and 15 mins to Pontocho. Great location within walking distance of major sites. The hotel was built pretty recently so everything is new and kept tidy. They have a bakery that makes pastries fresh daily, and rooftop bar. The gym is great with two treadmills, bench and db weights that go up to 22kg. One thing though is you have to reserve your spot in advance. The entire staff is on point, very strong customer service skills with most able to speak goodEnglish. Shout out to Sachi who went above and beyond with making us feel very welcomed, someone give her a raise because she does a fantastic job with how she treats guests! Rooms were spacious with showers that have hot water, amazing pressure, and rain shower heads! No need to bring soap and shampoo because the stuff they have is actually high quality. When we come back to Kyoto, we are definitely staying here again. If you stay here won’t regret it! We look forward to coming back!

My 21 yo daughter and I were first time travelers to Kyoto. The location is very central to the streets of old Kyoto and Kiyomizudera. If you decide to take the us you will find many options. The hotel itself is brand new with courteous and friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, and great vibe. The bakery is delicious! You can’t go wrong choosing this property.

Absolutely incredible hotel near Miyakizu temples”
I had nothing but positive things to say about this place. From seamless check in to good pressure rain shower to the staff and the dinner restaurant that I had everything was beyond my expectation. It was also really close to a lot of temples and downtown was about 10 minutes away biking they allow you to rent a bike for just $12 a day where you can bike around in electric bike and I say that for three nights, and the best part was the rooftop. And the rooftop is something that will forever ingrained in my memory for the three nights that I stayed there I went to the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful views of the temple from far away and they also serve food and drinks at a very reasonable price

I stayed one night but would stay again for longer trips as well. Rooms are new, clean, and well laid out so it feels like a good amount of space. Also great facilities. Not my favorite area in Kyoto but you can rent electric bikes which is probably the best way to explore the city anyways. Love this hotel!

Awesome hotel but no bath”
If they had bathtubs in the room and a public bath, this would be my go to hotel in Kyoto. The location is convenient enough (although it is close to a highway, which is not the best, and a 15 minute walk to Karasuma). The cafe, bakery, restaurant and rooftop bar are all wonderful. The rooms are fine, but there is no bath, and no clear area to take off shoes. I think this hotel is geared towards foreign tourists, not Japanese.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel and extended our stay here. The room is spacious with aesthetic interior design, but could be better if there’s more table or chair in the room. Breakfast is quite disappointing due to limited choice and repeating menu throughout our stay.

The hotel is nicely decorated. 5-8 min walking to metro station but the hotel itself is not located at core Kyoto. Convenience stores are nearby with few min walking. Overall the hotel is good

location is good but the standard hotel services is normal”
The location is good if you go to 清水寺。 It is not very close to the metro but it is easy to take bus to everywhere. The hotel looks new and stylish, however, it is not very clean. I stay 4 days 3 nights and the 1st night to use the bath towel and found the hair inside the bath towel. My friend's towel has small eye lash on it. I called the staff who is politely and nice to give me the new towels. However, it made me uncomfortable at the night and worried about the pillow cases and bed sheet as well. Also, paying this price but only provide teeth brush and small teeth paste but no comb, shower cap and razor, unlike other hotel. The one I stay in Osaka with cheaper price which will also provide those. Just a little bit disappointed. You will get a coin to get a free drink whichever how many days you stay. the drink menu has juice, coffee or tea. Well, for me, the coffee is not good. However, i had the breakfast at there. It was good ! The rooftop bar is nice but if you didnt make an booking in advance, you need luck to sit in.

Staying at this hotel was a really good experience. Staff were nice, foods were yummy and the price was really reasonabe. But plz make sure the location of this hotel is not the center of the Kyoto. If you are with small children, you might need to take taxi to the center of the kyoto.

Brand new hotel, modern facilities, superb breakfast (half buffet), but location is a bit far from subway station, if you drive then parking nearby at your own cost, which is fairly expensive. Another side to the Location is that it is within walking distance to Kiyomizu Ji and other fabulous temples.
