Comfortable Stay ”
It was a great and comfortable stay. The room was quite spacious and the furniture was modern. The floor was covered by carpet. The breakfast was tasty and enough variety. The special menu that i like the most in the restaurant was Lobster Meatball (Bakso Lobster). I booked airport transfer from hotel to airport a week before. Unfortunately, when in checked out, the hiace minibus was not available during traffic they said. So the management changed the transport with a car while i prefer two car regarding the bagage. Mrs. Dina came with solution and she got me two car with discounted price. Thanks Mrs. Dina. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in Novotel and will be back if i go to Makassar again

Best located hotel”
We chose this for its location at first. Main road and near shopping malls and fair distance to the beach area and airport. We like how the main hotel is kind of separated from meeting rooms and ball rooms so less crowded with ppl. Room was clean awesome city view and smell good. Breakfast menu was ok and was crowded with ppl. Coffee machine was only one and long waiting at egg station. Swimming pool was small and not recommended for toddlers.

The Hotel was good, it has nice facilities, but somehow my room wasn't 100% maintained. From 1-10, the room was 7, the service 8, the facilities 9, the breakfast 7 and the price 8. Overall I give it an 8. Nice and but could be better.

When I check-in, I realised that there was some ants on the working desk and it didn't went away throughout my stay. To make things worst, on the 2nd day my room was "infested" with mosquitoes and I was bitten over 10 times. Wish I can upload the photo here

New Hotel, Strategic Location, Value for Money!”
The hotel was opened in the mid 2015, so it looks new, right from the moment we stepped out from the taxi. Perhaps, due to Novotel is an American owned hotel, security is tighter. Check-in process is smooth and access card is needed in the elevator to the floor we stayed. The room is comfort with various amenities in the shower. Really couldn't find anything to complain about for the room. We did swim and relax at the poolside. Surfing the net is my favourite as the hotel is equipped with high speed internet connection, everywhere. I wouldn't have said there are a huge variety of selections for the breakfast but that's good enough for us. The best of this hotel is it's location where we could walk to most places including Pantai Losari in less than 15mins. If you are a food hunter, Novotel just giving you the central coordinates to access to most eatery places. Every Sunday morning 6am-11am is car free day on the main road just next to Novotel. You can see how vibrant and energetic are the Makassar people on that road! Well, we have got more than what we have paid in this Novotel. If you ask me would i recommend Novotel Makassar to friends? The answer is clear, definitely a big YES!

I've stayed in other Novotel's in Indonesia. The brand offers good value for money. But this gem in Makassar was the best value for money hotel I've ever stayed in in Indonesia. I put it higher on this basis than the excellent Mercure Subang in Jakarta. Right from the beautiful lobby level to the wonderful and cheerful staff to the suoerb modern (only basic price level) room, and its level of comfort and perlengkapan, to the pool to the airy, comfortable restaurant where we are a high quality breakfast . . . . I simply could not believe my good fortune in choosing this brilliant hotel. Please stay here if you are able. The Novotel Makassar is a functioning top draw advertisement for both Accor and Novotel Indonesia but, above all, for the wonderful designers, staff and management of this gem. It was just like home - however, better!

Had to stay over in Makassar and this was the perfect spot”
After Air Asia decided to reschedule our flight to KL 6 hours early with actually talking to us, we missed the flight so had to stay in Makassar to extra nights that we had hoped. We booked the Novotel as the kids were exhausted from a month of back packing so we decided to live it up. Great staff & facilities including huge lap pool, gym and the buffet was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Some people may be a little concerned re the bomb checks on all cars entering the premises but better to be safe than sorry. Really enjoyed our stay
