Massive rooms!”

This resort hotel is a bit west of the downtown centre, so if you're planning to go bar hopping, it'll cost you a good 3,000 yen for a taxi ride. Facilities are a bit dated but the rooms make up for it. We had two bedrooms with twin beds with an ocean view. Breakfast buffet is very good and staff are friendly. On the downside, only 1 elevator and no vending machine. The lounge has an amazing 1,100 yen all you can drink plan.

A very nice stay”

Though we didn't come to Ishigaki in the best season, we did enjoy our stay, especially at Exes. The room is spacious with a very beautiful sea view and is well equipped. The breakfast is good and to our surprise, a complimentary afternoon tea buffet is offered. Service is good and we would like to commend the staff named Guo for his good service.

We took a seat when doing the check-in with very well explanation of all the facilities and complements. Credit goes to Mr. 郭 who can speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English. The swimming pool is closed unfortunately starting from Nov and this is unexpected. The location is far from the city and can only drive there. Huge room and comfortable.

This was my first time staying at Exes Ishigaki on my nth visit to Ishigaki Island. My husband had previously stayed at Exes Onna and was impressed by the staff and service, so we wanted to stay at Exes again on Ishigaki Island. Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a marathon event and the last day of our sightseeing, which caused road closures and traffic congestion. We consulted with the front desk and they kindly offered to hold our luggage and car, and provided a shuttle service to the port area. On our way back, they suggested using the hotel shuttle bus to the Yaeyama sightseeing ferry, which made our last day smooth and enjoyable. The staff's guidance and assistance were very kind and thoughtful, and not just formalities. The hotel itself is not new. There were some reviews on a certain website mentioning the smell of cows nearby, but there are many cows grazing in the vast and beautiful natural scenery of Ishigaki Island. I love the beautiful views of the sea and night sky from the hillside, even though it is not right by the beach. The starry sky is especially breathtaking on clear nights. The black sugar French toast for breakfast is also delicious, just like at Exes Onna. Above all, the staff at Exes are wonderful and it was a very good hotel.

A cozy hotel”

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and even remembered my previous stay and provided extra pillows without me having to ask. The complimentary afternoon drinks and sweets were a nice touch, and I loved that the hotel provided L'Occitane shampoo. The breakfast was also delicious. I would definitely stay here again. Wife's Birthday Celebration”

It was my wife's birthday on that day, so I consulted with the hotel in advance by email. They responded very politely, replying to my emails three times. On the day of our stay, we received a gift from the hotel, which made my wife very happy. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

I just told them it was a birthday trip, but when we entered the room, there was a lovely message with a gift 🎁 for my daughter. Stayed for two days”

One of my favorite places to stay with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The starry sky is beautiful and it's my second year staying here. I would love to come back again. Breakfast is a bring-your-own style and they kindly accommodated my request for a salad. Thank you.

旅行が大好きで某ホテルグループのチタン会員グレードですが、今回の滞在はトップクラスのリゾートホテルと比較しても引けを取らない程良かったです。それも格安で！ 部屋は普通で言えばJr.スイートくらいの広さで大満足。設備面で多少の古さは否めないが清潔に保たれており、コロナ禍にあっても安心して利用出来た。 朝食は感染症対策としてルームサービスに変更されていたが内容も充実しており満足出来た。 何よりスタッフの皆さんが大変な状況下にありながら懸命に対応していただき感謝しかありません。 ここに泊まる為に、また石垣島を訪れたいと思わせていただきました。

中学生2人連れの家族4人で宿泊しました。部屋は十分な広さがあり、ベッドも簡易ではなくちゃんとしたものが4台ありました。朝食も素晴らしく、サービスも行き届いていました。また宿泊したいと思います！

古き良きラグジュアリーホテルを懐かしむなら”

高い天井、広いお部屋、クラシックな家具や調度品、設備など、東京ではすっかりリニューアルされてしまってお目にかかれなくなった古き良き時代のラグジュアリーホテルの雰囲気を味わうことができます。立地やお料理など中途半端な感じはありますが、大型ホテルとしてはコスパは高いと思いました。ロビー階にあるショップは作家ものの陶器や染めものやカードなど、センス抜群の品揃えです。

元気のないホテル”

経営が変わる前の軽井沢クラブ時代、愛用していて、比較してしまいます。コロナ禍なので、差し引くとしても、従業員の覇気がないですね。チェックアウトを延長させてと聞くと1時間5500円だそうです。混んでいるならともかくガラガラなのに、不思議です。
